- In this new video, I'm making a BATMAN (1989) Cosplay entirely out of EVA Foam.
It's a costume that's rarely ever attempted in foam due to how organic the shapes are.
I personally have never really see it done to this extent that I'm bringing to you all here today.
I hope after watching this, it inspires you to try it out for yourself.
So sit back, check out the video and see how it was completely Homemade / Handmade. It's a long one. - Stealth

Love the story behind you getting the Batman VHS tape. Such important moments in our lives that leave lifelong imprints. Glad to see you back, bro. Thanks for the video! 🙌🏻
I shared that moment because I’m sure it would make people remember their first time watching it as well.
That movie was very special to me growing up. I wasn’t able to see it in the theatres as a kid. So finally being able to really made my day.
I watched that VHS so many times. I would rewind so many epic moments whenever I watched it over and over.
I’m happy to be back to share this dream costume and that story.
Thanks for watching, bro.
I still have my original VHS as well......
And with rewinning did the same .....got Grainy .....😅😢
Lol indeed. Same with mine

The chest plate, back plate and sides of the Batman costume needs to be bulletproof as shown in the scene in the link below from the 1989 Batman movie:

Never mind the skills, the materials, the experience - turns out you've got the one thing that's an absolute requisite for a good Batman cosplay: a good jawline.
Lol thank you!
It looks like a dream. A template for keatons newest Batman suit would fit the 1989 Cosplay line perfectly 😍
KEATON IS BATMAN! My favourite of all time!
Same
Same
Same
Me he’s the best one
While I do agree, I'm going to defy the bandwagon and say Adam West.
Your a master. Seriously. I've been building for a few years and I'm in awe. The fact that your seams are perfect and you don't even need to label your pieces. I bow too you master.
Thank you! The Pepakura designer software helps me with what connects to what. So I just reference that whenever I’m stuck on joining pieces.
@Heroesworkshop just amazing work. Inspiring. Thank you
I love it! This might actually be the one to finally make me jump into cosplay.
Awesome to hear. Just watch the beginner video and take your time before doing this one. You’ll be fine.
Amazing build.
You captured all the details.
A truly authentic suit.
"A basic cosplay" my eye.
You are a Craftsman Sir!
Thank you so much 😊
That was really fun to watch. Great Job!
I appreciate you watching it! I'll be doing all my builds this way from here on out.
Hey, there he is. Badass. My dad took me to see Batman and when Jack Nicolson pulled the long barrel gun out of his pants, my dad laughed for 10 minutes.
Hahaha that was pretty goofy but very Joker-esque
Great video as always Stealth! Always happy to see another upload.
"MY Batman", yup! That suit is phenomenal!! Awesome job! Pls dont listen to the haters. It's as movie accurate as it needs to 🦇🦇🦇
Thank you! I actually had people commenting on the neck mobility.
When I literally wanted it to be restricted like the legit suit on purpose . I love that it's the way it is. I'll never change a thing 😎👍🏻
The Hero has Returned! Great Video as always!
Thank you for watching 😎👍🏻
More than any other build I have seen you do, YOU SO NAILED THIS!!! Totally Awe!!!
Thanks man. I appreciate it
Amazing! Batman 89 is the GOAT! Great work! 🙌🏼

Thank you for the many years of support 😎
Nothing short of astounding. Cheers!
Absolutely stunning!! Loved the build, the way you put the video together, using the NES music, your shrine and history to the costume and movie! Just magnificent!!
Thanks so much! Glad you liked it
Amazing job!!! Thank u for sharing!
Thank you for watching!
As kid from the 80s , the 89 batman is the best. I remember the logo was everywhere. I like the stiffness from the neck ,it locks like .. hard to descripe.
I know what you mean. I liked it too.
I made sure to make the suit with the sane restrictions as Keaton had. I wanted to have to move like him to see how it felt.
The NES music is SO GOOD :) It has made a good match for your vid! outstanding suit!!
I love the soundtrack to that game.
You are one amazing artist.
Thank you very much, sir 🙏
Killer build! Well done.
Thank you 😊
1:02:57 - He even does the 'look up' move. ha ha! Great stuff!
YUP

I am very inspired, I plan to build and design my own batsuit.
Great to see you back, man! Love this costume and am going to try my hand making it.
Glad you like it. I hope you do try this out. It’s not that difficult once you get the concepts.
The Legend has returned 🙌 such an amazing suit bro, the way you made the forearm spikes was epic the whole suit is mind blowing 😊

Thank you so much
This came out amazingly well! Nice work, Looks Great! 💯
Thank you!
Masterfully done. I how you can put it all together so flawlessly.
Thank you very much.
That looks incredibly good in the right light
Yeah. This costume was rarely ever shot in light in the film. It was meant to be shot in the dark. I think the only time it’s in direct light in the movie is when he saved Vicky from the museum.
Kickass job
Very well done. 🎯
your face even works great for the suit. Great job with the foam!
Thank you 😎👍🏻
Your cosplays never miss!!!
Thank you! 😎👍🏻
The quality of your bat-suit is in the same eleven of one produccion of Warner, congratulations.
Thank you so much
wham bam He Did It Again !!! Excellent Job buddy !!!

So awesome! Loved your posts on facebook! Great job!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Extra points for the 8-bit Batman music!
And I think your cat wants you to make them a Swat Kats costume 😁
Great job!
Glad to hear someone noticed. Extra points for you.
Editing the footage with that music makes me want to play it so badly now.
Looks awesome man would love to see you do the return suit as well
Awesome!
Amazing job! I was too young (but not by much) to see the first film in the cinema, however I did see batman returns, twice! I love the Burton batmans. They are so good. I really hope you do the suit from returns as your 1989 one is a peach! Great work! 🇬🇧
Insane. Very talented
Thank you so much
Dude!!!
That is fucking AMAZING!
Well done!
Thank you!

That suit is 10/10🌟
Brutal
Definitely need to watch the whole thing, but you completely nailed the look! This is the Batman I grew up on, too and I love it. Walking along doing the stiff neck turn is on point 😂
When I was making this people were commenting on my other social media progress posts to ask “how’s the neck mobility? Did you improve it?”
I’mlike “why would I?” Lol
COSPLAY 10/10
FINAL EDIT 100000/10
I love you for that. Thanks
Great work! You are amazing! 🙂
Thank you!

Happy to be back making videos again. I’m starting a new project next week.
Yes you are correct 💯💯 💯 making project late but is ok i am happy glad you back ☺️
The master of EVA foam. always amazes me bro, been subbed for years!
Thank you for the long time support. I still have a lot more to do with Foam before I move on from it :D
Best Batman ever
Agreed
Whoa! That's absolutely Great and it's hard to believe that it is hand made! One can't make out the difference between te Original and this as this looks and feels like this was the Original suit used by Michael Keaton in the 89' movie!💯✨
So wonderfully made!
I hope, you can make the Modern Michael Keaton's The Flash Batman Suit!
I really loved this make and I have high expectations from you to Make the Flash movie Version Keaton Batman's Suit!
Im really looking forward for it!
Thank you!
You my man are so talented, I couldn’t continue to make things with foam anymore. I when with 3D printing idk how you doing it but you’re amazing bro.
Thank you. I still have a lot of things to make in foam in the next few years. I will then switch to 3D printing one day to make real replica costumes :)
Hey man great work!
Thank you!
Ay new upload! Like a phoenix rising from the ashes
Many more to come, buddy.
This is the Goat!!! this! is incredible. :3
Thank you 😊
Pretty damn awesome =D
Thank you!
Man... this is some fucking awesome! The best I ever saw or have seen!
Thank you so much!
Very nice! I'm 61 and grew up with the original series. I like all the Batman's, but if I could pick the car, it would be the original Ford Futura built by George Barris!
Everyone chooses whatever makes them feel the most nostalgia. 😎👍🏻
Badass ✌🏻
Thank you!
I love your way of explaining and I like your videos, thank you very much friend
😊
I’m glad you liked it. I had to make sure to show how to do the muscles for this costume using the Foam Pepakura files. The techniques needed to be explained in detail for those.
Iooked excellent
😊
Impressive
Thank you
DAMNNN I made the 89 suit out of foam last year before The Flash premier. Got the Nike air trainers too and made my own boots, gauntlets, the whole sheebang! A cool cowl and cape, sprayed the whole suit in Latex. Made the belt and everything! It was a fun build! This would've been super handy tho🤣 🥲🥲 But awesome suit tho!!
Madre mia genial todo lo que haces
Excelente, que gran trabajo!!!!!!!
Gracias
The burton films will always have a special place in my heart, Even though I was born 7 years after it came out. I collect anything having to do with it.
Thanks for sharing that!
Wow 😍
Just watched it all. I loved this whole thing. The suit up at the end made me smile biiiig!!! Well done!! I can't believe you found those gloves that look so much like the movie ones, when I saw them on IG, I thought you had replica gloves!
I was gonna shell out $200 for real gloves for my real replica 89’ suit that I want to make one day but I found these ones for now. Look for “Olympia motorcycle gloves” if you ever need /some to have that look.
Dude, living the dream. I still have my original VHS copy of Batman 1989.
That’s awesome!
I was waiting for you to turn and look up and glad it happened lol
I had to. Lol
Super fun build to watch, well done. I have a soft spot for the 89 Batman also it was such an event when I was little and got to see it at the theater. I'm starting to collect some VHS tapes for the nostalgia factor. I know you love RoboCop.. there is 4 hour documentary out called Robodoc, it's awesome if you like stuff like that.
I've been collecting random 89 related things as well during the time I was making this costume.
I got a behind the scene hardcover book with photos and what not, a comic adaptation of the 89 film and the comic version of the sequel to returns they had planned before Burton left the franchise. (BATMAN 89'').
It has all the issues in one book. It's very cool. Got it from Amazon.
I've also started to watch RoboDoc a few weeks. I'll get back to it soon. There's a lot of new info I didn't know that was missing from past documentaries. I'm enjoying it so far. Thanks for checking out the video as well. I appreciate it.
Awesome work! I love these longer videos that show and explain everything that went into making it. My favourite part is the mid section. It puts Rick Rude to shame.
They won’t all be this in-depth as they can be a bit boring and take way too long to edit and don’t produce many views long term.
I could’ve built this costume in 2-3 days but for this format, it turned into an almost 2 month project once it was all built, filmed and edited.
These Pepakura foam templates are very unique and specific and needed to be explained in depth as it was a new technique I created and they’ve never been done anywhere like this.
Lol. I like the Rick Rude reference.
@@Heroesworkshop thanks for putting in all the effort to share your knowledge.
