PPV’s are already pretty late, I don’t see why they couldn’t do an afternoon card US time, they’ve done it before.
No kidding i live in Ontario Canada sometimes these title fights are starting at like 1 am... if you've been guzzling booze since 7pm it becomes a struggle to stay awake waiting in between fights... I get they want the west coast to all be available n they don't really wanna go against the major sports but basketball n hockey playoffs will be done by then so it doesn't make any sense why u couldn't do a uk time of like 10pm americas would be 2-5pm I have no problem firing up the bbq n afternoon partying with ppl... they need to realize it's become a international sports viewing the fringe and die hards will still watch esp with only baseball regular season on. I feel bad for the fans of other countries as well

Even without the BMF belt, Max is the #1 contender, the biggest name & the most exciting fight for Ilia, over Ortega, Evloev & anybody else at 145 besides a Volk rematch when he's ready. Max (not the BMF) is the mandatory challenger, so what's all this fuss from Ilia about the BMF belt? Besides, if u have to force or chase the BMF belt, u're probably not the guy to be fighting for it (yet or maybe ever).

It is highly unusual for fighters to do that particular cut (LHW -> MW). Fans should not consider that a normal feat. Jiri is staying in LHW and deserves a rematch with Poatan, if Poatan is able to defend the belt against Ankalaev.

As a person who lives stateside, I agree with Tom. It’s completely understandable that they want to sell to and cater to the U.S. because we are the ones that make the most of their view count but if you want to celebrate U.K. fighters to this magnitude, you need to cater to them. We are OK missing out on one pay-per-view but the fact of the matter is we don’t have to. I feel like I can speak for the majority of the US fanbase if 304 started at 8 PM their time meaning that would be 3 PM EST our time there will minimal argument from the US fans. Even as excited as I am to watch the fight and I’ll definitely stay up, I’m tired by 2AM in the morning when the main event is usually over, to have a UFC PPV end at 9pm or 10pm. sounds phenomenal.

I would not mind the time change, i live in Manchester New Hampshire and when they run the cards in UAE they start at 1 or 2 pm here, that be fine, we are 5 hours difference i think from England anyway!!! The regular cards when the main event stats at 10pm EST and dont get over till 2A.M. and i always have to work on Sundays like 3am half the year.

It's because top viewers for UFC are US and Canada. The overseas fights that happen earlier in the day usually pull the lowest numbers. That being said. Real fans will still watch regardless of what time it is.
