Are you new to this MMA thing? His last 11 fights were for a belt, the fight before that run was against Anderson Silva. He could have had an immediate rematch if he wanted it but didn't. He was the most active champ during his reign. He cleaned out that division(including Whitaker and Vittori twice), and Dricus is the only guy he has not dispatched yet. To think for a second that man doesn't get a shot when he's ready is ridiculous.

Alex's technique looked pretty solid aside from the granby. In fairness to him, though, stuff like granby's are weird on carpet. The way you can kind of sink in a bit on carpet, combined with the added friction, makes it take more oomph than on mats. So, doing it with the same energy as you do on mats won't work. Gotta put a bit more into it
