As someone who one-shot (not counting chip damage from Superguards) almost all the bosses in this game by spamming Charge for about five turns and using Power Lift and a Power Punch on Yoshi, I feel seen by this video. Cheap strategy I know, but whatever gets the job done lol
Mush being immune to Special Moves on his invincible stance makes no sense, considering it was a Crystal Star that trapped and betrayed him (not for a million years though...)

I cheesed this boss in a similar way. Superguarding is sneat trick, but I am *NOT* doing _multiple required_ superguards. I just charged for a couple turns and power bounced.
I was thinking of a way to beat prince mush with no super guards and kinda with less RNG my solution was stampede but I didn’t really take the day to think of a strat because I didn’t really think about how the FP routing would be due to him taking FP. Watching this was brought that to life, and I really liked the hottest dog usage for bringing FP back.
I remember I did a playthrough without any action commands and I tried to do the Mush fight before I knew his stance mechanic. After figuring out how it worked, I just spammed charge on Mario and shell shield with Koops until I was able to nearly one shot him with a single power jump. It was a weird run, good challenge run for anybody interested.
This fight was really fun and definitely threw me for a loop the first time I played it. I was wondering how you’d absolutely destroy it, and it looks like I didn’t have to wait long to find out, lol
I also used peril yoshi strats for this fight. I just did it a little differently. Power lift turn 1, then power punch yoshi. Switch him to the front and switch out on marioxs action to keep the buffs (and also keep him alive). I guess one problem with my strategy is that it might require a superguard to avoid the invincible guard, but I still felt good about beating the fight

I did a very similar thing during my fight with him, and I’m only now learning through these comments that he’s supposed to have an “invincible phase” 😅 I oughta give him another chance to see what the REAL fight is like I guess…
I'm not ashamed to say I try to OHKO Prince Mush with Ms. Mowz XD I didn't succeed mostly because I miss calculate how many damage Mowz was dealing with all her Charge stacked. But I quickly notice they was a threshold to not pass if you want to beat him without the need of Superguard.
What are you talking about? You can see there's more than one badge equipped (including Double Dip) right at the start of the video, what part of it is "trying to make it look like only one badge was needed"?

No part of what you just quoted equates to "just needed 1 badge when he had a lot on it we didnt see"; if anything what you quoted proves the complete *opposite* of what you were trying to claim earlier. The description says he needed 2 Power Rush P badges and we see exactly that during the badge display at the start, so I don't understand what the problem is.
Stampede being able to bullshit past Mush's Stance mechanic feels like the everything killer sword to Mush's everything-proof shield.

It’s been a month and we already have people doing low level prince mush 😭

For some reason Mush can be killed by showstopper, so he's beatable at any level without superguards, though you'd need great rng

Kind of funny how this fight might make Mini-Egg and Stampede even better, as they are some of the few moves that can hit him in either stance.

It could only contain him not damage because he was just tired when he was freed, also he had time to train

I just stacked 25 of those 5 Hp power boost badges and killed him that way. A single jump does like 60 damage.
