SPOILERS AHEAD since you were curious about the lack of postgame: So basically towards the end of the game it's revealed that V is kinda screwed and is gonna die in six months no matter what, and so there are 3 ways the endings go: You have Arasaka do the same thing to you as they did to Keanu Silverhand and put your conciseness into a chip untill they find you a new body You piss off and decide to live your remaining days in peace Or you raid Arasaka (with varying parties depending on your choices) to find an advanced AI (who was formerly Keanu's GF) in their server room. Once you do you can either follow the AI into cyberspace and let Johnny Reeves keep your body, or you let Keohnny follow her and you go back to your body and use the remaining 6 months you have to become a legend of Night City (because YOL6M) There is also an ending where you decide "screw it" and throw away your "fix my brain" pills and commit suicide, but it's basically a bad ending
Thanks for the explanation!! I can't believe after all this time I still had no idea how this game ended, considering how large of a release it was at launch
I still say to this day that Cyberpunk 2077 has that classic "early access" feel, and in reality it could've used another 5 years of development. I say this because one of the first things you do when you start a new game is choose your "background", and that choice might as well not even exist as they all lead to the same series of events that kicks off the game's main scenario. Picking anything other than Streetkid just feels narratively wrong, and the whole idea that there would be a difference just seemed forgotten down the line of development hell.
I agree 1000% I remember being pretty hyped to experience this futuristic world working for one of the major conglomerates. Unfortunately, that narrative arc lasted a whole of like 4 or 5 missions lmao
Yeah, you blink and the police are just there. They also can literally spawn in a closet multiple times when you are in a building. That makes complete and total sense for game design.
Cyberpunk is a good game, the problem is, it's not what was promised, and there are many moments where you see a lot of unused potential. I don't think the police system really is that big of a problem, it's not supposed to be a GTA game.
My pc is shit so i can't play it but i do agree with Max0r, Fallout New Vegas is what any open world rpg should be like, also howdy, also have you seen or read chainsaw man? shit's cool af
fallout new vegas is an all-time classic Sup clown i hope you’ve been doing well! Nope i have never seen or read chainsaw man as i dont really watch any anime but ive heard good things about it from some creators that i watch! Would you recommend it for a beginner to anime?
I'm doing good dude, thanks. And yeah, it's a good read, the world building it's more grounded and modern time alike but it's more plot driven than anything and i would suggest read the manga first, just for the panels, the art it's rough but it's crazy good, if you look around there's a lot of edits of chainsaw man, specially with My Little Dark Age, the last part is such a rollercoaster and if you want to go deeper after you finish it, there's a video The Point of Chainsaw Man which relates the plot to the Bible and it has a lot of mind blowing resemblance, i'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Cyberpunk is a good game when you don't expect the second coming of christ from it.
