Thank you very much for making this, the video was very frustrating, I wish she'd done what you did here! And you're right she should use the proper terms
Thank you so much for making a pattern! I tried to follow her video and got very frustrated before I saw your comment. Thank you again, you are very much appreciated ♡♡
I wrote out the pattern as requested by another fan of Mio. It may not be perfect since I'm not the best at writing patterns and as Mio said herself, there isn't really a distinctive pattern for this one so it's a lot of eyeballing. 2.75 mm Hook Working in joined rounds Anything in* bold* means to repeat until the end of each round Remember to chain 1 at the beginning of each new round Head: Chain 2 and start crocheting into the first chain to create the round shape of this pattern (or Magic Ring!) Round 1: 6 Single Crochet (Abbreviated SC) into the chain as explained above. Slip Stitch to join (Abbreviated S2J) Round 3-???: Since Mio didn't use any specific pattern here, *SC in the first three-four SC, INC in next*. Repeat this round as many times as you'd like. The video seems to have this repeated about 6-7 times for a total of what looks like 9 rounds. S2J as always. Round ???+1: Repeat round 3-??? but backwards. So if you were crocheting three SC and then INC, crochet three SC and either decrease or skip a SC like Mio is doing. Both work well for this pattern! Repeat this method until you have a ball for the head. Remember to stuff when the hole is closing quickly to prevent bunching and bursting. End of Head. Feet/Arms (Make 4): Chain 2 and start crocheting into the first chain to create the round shape of this pattern (or Magic Ring!) Round 1: 6 SC into the chain as explained above. S2J (Abbreviated S2J) Round 2-4: *SC in each SC*. Fasten Off three of the Feet/Arms when crocheting BUT NOT THE LAST ONE. You will need this to make the body. End of Feet. Body: We're going to join the two feet together. With the foot still attached, we will be using the yarn as provided. Choose a random stitch on the other foot and slip stitch the two feet together. Round 1: Chain 1, *SC around each SC (this means of both feet together, thus making them directly crocheted on to the body!)* Round 2-5: You need to eyeball this. INC and DEC as you see fit to make the body shape. I would recommend to form little hips with expanding once or twice and work your way up, perhaps decreasing a little to form more of the stomach area. This part is totally up to you and see what you like. -You want the body to be about the same size as the head. Stuff and fasten off, there will be a large gap at the top of the body. End of Body. Ears (Make 2 of everything below: total of 6 pieces) For the brown: Create these like you have been starting off the head. I would say stop at about round 3. Again, this is eyeballed and requires your judgment based off the size of the head. For the yellow: Do the same as for the brown part of the ear, but make these 1 round smaller as to nestle in the brown part. Make these as well with 1 round to be the bottoms of the feet. All assembly is in the video. Happy crocheting!
I think what the problem is is she's showing it right but she's not using any measurements or number of stitches or the correct terminology for the stitches
@Emily Castro omg hearts are hard for me. I hope yours turned out good. And yes, it is complicated the way she says it. I've never seen anyone chain in order to make a round head, usually people make magic circles. I'm really want to make this so I'm going through the whole video and translating it so I can understand it lol
I am a beginner crocheter and I just attempted this trying to listen to the instructions, watch what Mio was doing AND reading Chakylin's instructions (Chakylin, not your fault, you can only write with what you're given and thanks for trying to write pattern instructions). I failed and gave up several times and I normally can follow knitting and crocheting instructions if they are written well or if the video demo is clear. My suggestion would be to follow MyntKat's video on how to do a basic amigurumi ball and then come back here and follow the rest of the directions for the body: Lesson 1 ua-cam.com/video/nekScyhJRaY/v-deo.html Lesson 2 ua-cam.com/video/8P-LJs9uXUg/v-deo.html Hope this helps alleviate some of the frustrations. This is a cute pattern and if Mio's instructions doesn't make sense, then try looking up other videos on making arigurumi bears and incorporate bits and pieces to make your own cute Rilakkuma!
Honestly thank you so much for making this vid. For the longest time I've struggled trying to find a good tutorial on how to crochet a magic circle and now I finally get it. 🙏🏼
I have to say.. i recently started crochet, and seeing your video made me want to try Amirugumi ASAP. Truth is.. for a beginner, the whole "i just do it on eye" thing is reaaallly frustrating... Your projects are wonderful, but mostly, people who watch these videos are new to crochet or amigurumi... So maybe slowing down, showing the process better and having a pattern ready so you can tell us exactly when to double or skip would be absolutely amazing.. Love your work, hope you might consider it. Much love

I think it's cute. I always mess up when crocheting and just picked up knitting instead and this video is giving me ideas, but I want try crocheting this one of these days since the video is clear and upclose it is easy to understand... :D Very cut bear! I don't mean to be rude but I read some of the comments and ppl are making it harder than it seems. They should do what I do if you want to get pattern from a video, turn off volume, put video on slow from the video setting on the right of video and pause, rewind and play video while you follow along or got the pattern down. I do this when I watch knitting videos in Russian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Spanish when I find any pattern that peeks my interest. Hope this tip is helpful too. Good Luck!:)
I was so addicted with miniature stuffs and crocheting is one of my hobbies. OMG! Thanks because your tutorials are helping me out making this fabulous crochet project!! Godbless! Looking forward to your next miniature crochet project!
the first time i made this bear it I gave up because some parts were really hard, but then I wanted to make it for my sisters birthday. It took a long time to finish, but it turned out very cute. I changed the bear a bit and gave it a scarf. My sister really liked it. 😊
Can you please refer to each "knot" using the proper terms? For example, that "knot" you're making is called a single stitch. You didn't use any of these terms in your video so I found myself confused, as I'm unsure of what exactly you're referring to as a "knot". I was especially lost at the part where every 3 or 4 times you add a knot.
+Vicky Nguyen I know, but it'd be great if she can learn them and use them so that people can understand what she means. I don't think it's too much to ask because the terms aren't that complicated.
+Love Is INFINITE I'm someone who crochets a lot and I agree with you. It's a cute final product, but I wouldn't call this a proper tutorial. I could probably make this myself and write an actual pattern with the proper terms and techniques. Skipping stitches is more likely to leave holes trying to decrease that way. Especially if you're using a larger hook.
+blackmoonflower i would love an actual pattern, if you do write it please share it with me, i loved this amigurumi but without the pattern i don't think i can make it as cute, i don't work without patterns :(
Thks for sharing! I'm lucky that I have had experience crocheting,, But I have also learnt from your video that you can use your judgement to estimate sizes, etc. Also the hot glue was a great time saver when making these cute little characters. You are very clever, to have worked this pattern oout by yourself!
I can knit but sadly I can't crochet, I just suck at it. I would make a few stitches then I would start to confuse myself as I start moving on to the next step then I would end up making a ball of tangled yarn instead. I have a friend who can crochet but she can't knit she said crochet is actually easier for her, but it's the opposite for me, I think knitting is easier but I doubt I can make this knitting.
I know as much of crotcheting as I do of knitting, which is just the very basic method used to make a scarf ;-; And I'm not even good at making scarves either because I take very much longer than the average knitter/crotcheter because I mess up easily (though knitting makes messing up once much easier because I can just go a step back to fix it, with crotcheting you just completely have to start over)
Knitting isn't hard for me but knitting is very boring, I find that crochet is very easy if you work at it everyday, it's easier and learn at your own pace, don't try and learn fast like professionals, it just doesn't work that way, start slow and learn slow, I love crocheting, it's fun and more to do with projects. :)
Crispy Taco don't feel bad. It looks like she did two single crochets in each stitch. It would've been great if she had a written pattern. I was trying to watch her hands and observe what's she's doing.
It's quite nice to see your process creating your own crochet pieces! It's encouraging me to let loose a little and to crochet in a more free way, if that makes sense? I'm a person who follows a pattern religiously xD thank you so much!
For me it was actually easier When the recipe was more flexible (like not exact measurements and stitches etc) But I understand how for some people taht could be more confusing. Either way you AMAZING and this was super cute and helpful ah!❤️❤️❤️
Cute piece! This was actually The first ever crochet project I attempted. Not gonna lie, it was a massive mistake. Because as a beginner, you really need guidelines and structure and the actual pattern to follow. I wasn't at the level pf eyeballing my projects yet, so it was a frustrating disaster. But afterafter gaining some more experience, I tried the project again and it turned out really cute. Kinda scared to put it on my bag though, because it'll probably get destroyed with the rough conditions.
I can't understand the confusion? Whoever is getting confused, you first need to watch some crochet basic videos. Watch ... Making a Crochet chain, single crochet and crocheting in the round. Hope it helps
+Rowsey Mousey that's because fluffy socks will give you the closest result to a fluffy plushie. Crotcheting and knitting is not only harder to make it with but also will make the plushie way less squishy and soft :P
I tried to follow but this was really confusing could you at least tell us what round your on or be a little more specific please ? I really want to crochet this ........
Hi Happy Berry! My name is robin, i been watching your videos. And i love them. You take your time explaning what you are doing. And i can understand you. Keep up the good crafting. I am looking forward to more of your video. TY Miss Robin.
you should really write out the pattern, because you arent really telling people how to crochet. you are just winging it. a lot of people rather a set pattern so they know they are doing it right. and aswell, its not a knot. its a stitch.
she doesn't have to, I made it perfectly fine, and she is telling you how to do it by explaining how the body is made, and whether each piece is made up of worked or types of crochet stitches. So this video is helpful, maybe not what you were looking for, but many people like em can follow it and it is a great tutorial.
@@serenekim5409 I made this comment four years ago when it would have made the difference to me. I wouldn't have been able to follow this tutorial at my skill level. But I know with hindsight acknowledge that my comment might have been to harsh.
this is not even a tutorial. its more like seeing what you did and us guessing the rest. can you please show us all of it. or at least write steps down. Please.
+ashley correa Unfortunately she will never write out a pattern because she doesn't know the proper terminology for crochet. She said she learned how to crochet from a relative, and this is the way they taught her so she doesn't know how to read patterns or write them. It looks like she will never try to teach herself either because this is an occurring problem with her crochet tutorials. :/
That technique of turning the feet into the body is brilliant. I'm actually going to start doing that with my own dolls, because the way I do them now is a pain.
I ended up getting a message from the person who does the cutify packs, telling me that they are closing it down. just wanting to give a heads up to others who might be interested in it.... January was the last pack. also, love this tutorial, I just couldn't keep up with it enough for my attempts to succeed.
Guys! Use magic ring. It is way more easier that way. The first times you will try to do a magic ring could fail but trust me, it will get better after a while and it is so easyyyy!
At first this was really hard especially at the head part. I had to try and try about 7 times but finally I figured out how to make it. After I knew how to make the head, the rest was very easy because it's almost the same steps. So if it gets hard, don't give up because my bear turned out really cute. It's actually not that complex. Just try and try again. Good luck!
I did it today, and i made a pattern. I'm latina, sorry if I write something wrong.
WHEN YOU FINISH A ROAD USE SOMETHING TO SEE WHEN THE ROWS ENDS.

And if it ends up looking weird I'll just give it to my Fiancé 😂
How'd it turn out?
For me it was actually easier When the recipe was more flexible (like not exact measurements and stitches etc) But I understand how for some people taht could be more confusing. Either way you AMAZING and this was super cute and helpful ah!❤️❤️❤️
all I have is white, pink and rainbow yarn. I call mine icebear😂
Cute Ted bear. Thanks for your tutorials
I crochet all the time in fact i am crocheting right now
soooooooooooooooooooooo cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jessica Lee me too
Everything is cute about this video 😍😘
IT'S SOO FLUFFY!!!! ^.^ hey I love ur vids I was wondering if u could do a diy bck2skool related bc that would be awesome ilysm, bye!
hey!! just finished making it.. took me almost 3 hrs to finish it. and yes mine is of blue and white color combination.. :)
thanks for sharing.
As a current crocheter, this was confusing lolz XD
I can't even do one crochet and you did that bear, your crafts on point 👌🏽👌🏽😘😘
This was SO confusing... I'm just SOO frustrated!!!
I can't understand the confusion? Whoever is getting confused, you first need to watch some crochet basic videos. Watch ... Making a Crochet chain, single crochet and crocheting in the round. Hope it helps
+jesysgrl I think she goes fast and it confuses me.
Uhhhhhhhh I can't find the right plushie to make literally I have been all over the Internet it's just socks socks socks
+Rowsey Mousey that's because fluffy socks will give you the closest result to a fluffy plushie. Crotcheting and knitting is not only harder to make it with but also will make the plushie way less squishy and soft :P
Emily Phu ME TOO aghhhhh!
Good vid im so used to watching step by step tutorials. I guess i don't realize what could actually make just by free styling it:)
I love you so much Flying Mio!!!!! and 2nd Commenter!!!!!
How cute! I love this bear.
I tried to follow but this was really confusing could you at least tell us what round your on or be a little more specific please ? I really want to crochet this ........
Just slow down the video and copy every single move she does until it's complete.
Tip: don't run out of yarn
Hi Happy Berry! My name is robin, i been watching your videos. And i love them. You take your time explaning what you are doing. And i can understand you. Keep up the good crafting. I am looking forward to more of your video. TY Miss Robin.

Amber Flores, CHILL!
Amber Flores SAME
This is just like rainbow loom! Thanks for uploading!
Thank youuuuu❤️ now I have a cute little teddy bear
the result are amazing
you should really write out the pattern, because you arent really telling people how to crochet. you are just winging it. a lot of people rather a set pattern so they know they are doing it right. and aswell, its not a knot. its a stitch.
Samantha Blake yeah man I'm still stuck at the head...still looking for other videos that would give exact measurement of the head
she doesn't have to, I made it perfectly fine, and she is telling you how to do it by explaining how the body is made, and whether each piece is made up of worked or types of crochet stitches.
@@samblake1746 lol that makes, sense, sorry
finally, a crocheting video i can actually follow.
your thumb nail polish look like pokeballs lol also cute tutorial!
i made the white rilakkuma bear, it's super duper cute, thanks flying mio😊😊
this is not even a tutorial. its more like seeing what you did and us guessing the rest.
can you please show us all of it. or at least write steps down.
Aww that sucks. Well i guess i will just have to be patient and do my best
bobrocks1027 And what sucks so much about it is that she makes the CUTEST things!
Mio there u go with another awesome craft idea
Pikachu crochet tutorial
I would definitley try this and maybe as a koala or panda, maybe even another type of animal. I think this is so cute and a great tutorial

This is so adorable! This is so cute and wish for more in the future! Thanks for sharing all of your amazing, inspiring creations.
I gave up. This is so hard.
So cuteee! I like it 😀👍🏼
If you want to get into crochet. Look for other REAL tutorials. This project turned out well but as a tutorial, it isn't one.
Thats such amazing work for eyeballing it! Kudos!
I've never seen any one attach their legs like that. :) it's much simpler than how I've done it before. Super clever.
This is so cute. I’m going to make this during the summer so I have something to do.
I LOVE THE LITTLE BEAR
It is so cute I made one for my baby cousin and she loved it.Thank you for making that

Tysm for the tutorial! :D
I love rillakkuma !!!!!💝💝💝
That technique of turning the feet into the body is brilliant. I'm actually going to start doing that with my own dolls, because the way I do them now is a pain.
C'est super bien fait !!!!!!! Trop chou
OMG YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL! AND..This tutorial was so cute!
Wait to make the circle do u keep putting it through the first chain or do u alternate between the first and second chain?

I ended up getting a message from the person who does the cutify packs, telling me that they are closing it down. just wanting to give a heads up to others who might be interested in it.... January was the last pack. also, love this tutorial, I just couldn't keep up with it enough for my attempts to succeed.
I love it so much....aaaaahh sooo cuteee😍😍😘
I adjusted mine a bit but it turned out absolutely adorable! What kind of yarn did you use? I can't find a similar brown to the one you used.
Классное видео! ❤️ 💛 💚 💙 💜
Omg thank you so much!!!! I've been waiting for a video like this so I could add it on my planner Flying Mio
Guys! Use magic ring. It is way more easier that way. The first times you will try to do a magic ring could fail but trust me, it will get better after a while and it is so easyyyy!
omgosh so cute easy and dosent take hours!!
Good luck!
