Excellent job! I have replaced the spark plugs on my 2015 Ford Transit 250 several times already, and I am impressed! Like you, I had to use a zip tie on one of the coils connectors as I broke one of the red locking tabs while I was trying to slide it to unlock it...
Thanks for this video I just save some money by doing it by my self..
You're welcome
Should of put a clean towel over intake holes don't want nothing going in there
On the other hand, there is so much junk on the top of the motor block that when you will try to put towel on top of it, you can accidentally slip something inside. So you never know what's better or worse.
What misfire code did you have ?
Спасибо, помогло 👍
Будь ласка.

How many miles when u did plugs the 1st time? I have 65k miles and am thinking if it needs it yet or if 100k is ok? Also have you done any trans fluid change? Drain and fills? I know they say 150k lifetime fluid but that's total bull. So I've been pumping out about 2.5 quarts each time I change oil and replacing with valvoline max life. Which is full syn. I've noticed the old fluid was not perfect, not bad but I'd say a 100k change is too long. I did the 1st time at 50k and did it 2 times the 1st time, just 1 time every 6k miles now. U have to buy a pump with a tube and suck out of the fill hole. Hits kinda stupid Ford did it like that. I get like 25k miles on front and rear break pads 2 times now. And they r shot at that point. I will say I love the Michelin still is tires. I live in MN. So snow is a big factor. The months r great till they r at 50% tread left then they loose grip on snow n ice.
I never changed transmission fluid myself. Up until now I'll always was changing all fluids at dealership every 100K miles. This is the first time I change spark plugs myself and I say 100K miles look like pushing the limit
It makes me angry that we have to remove all this for basic maintenance.
Hello do you know what you want this number one spark plug
I'm sorry, but I don't understand the question.
You didn't show the spark plug rubber boot, how did you get that out?
I am not quite sure what are you talking about. There is a spark plug coil that sits right on the spark plug itself, there is no rubber boots in there. But if you're talking about rubber boot inside the socket to remove spark plugs, that rubber boots always stays inside the socket, it comes with a socket in the set.
The rubber boot is attached to the coil. Inspect for any cracking or tears since they are rubber. Apply some electrical grease inside the boot to meet the plug
Yikes! That's a job. How many miles are this van? The plugs looked pretty good.
At the time of this video 508280.
Zowie thats a dumb design. You should not need to remove the intake manifold or the water pump or the left rear turn signal to get at the spark plugs! Neither should you have to unplug any "if I break this connector I am f**ed, but it wont come out without magic after its been on the road 50k miles" plugs.
