That is a nice vid, thanks for sharing. Why did you not use the electric pump to fill up the transmission? Did you fill up the fluid in the transmission until it started to drain from the hole?
Thank you for the compliments why I did not use the electric pump to add transmission fluid to the car because sometimes when you use the same machine when you drain the fluid there is some metal shape or piece of metal inside the pump so this why is better to use manually and add fluid and like that you make sure there is nothing bad go to the car
what is the point of changing the fluid and not replacing a filter?
Because u don’t have to plus it’s real pain to change out I seen other video actual mechanics saying don’t need to change out
If you change the transmission fluid and time if you're 30,000 miles for Ford you don't need to change the the filter for the transmission but if you have a hundred thousand miles it's better change the filter but you got to cost you too much money if you want to do it the same way I did it they cost you only $30 if you want to change the filter you got to cost you between 300 to $500 service
Because due to Ford bad design you cannot remove the pan without dropping the suspension frame. Change the fluid at 30k-45k intervals and hope your transmission will last!
