3 years ago, I was trying to get a Klock Werks, for my RG Special. Dealer told me they were on back order, I got the Windvest in a week, and saved $50. Never rode with a Klock Werks, but I've been very happy with my Windvest. BK.
bradyboy1952 Nice! I had an 08 street glide and tried so many different windshields. The last two I bought were a Windvest then Klock. I kept the 12 in Klock and gave my dad the Windvest.
That special is clean. Nothin like em they just look neat and clean like a perfect matching outfit.
I've had both on my Victory Cross Country. Brian and Laura Klock are great people but I'd chose the Windvest all day, any day.

Bottom Fairings add alot into the wind deflection equation, best comparison would be to use the same bike and try both windshields.
I’d pick the windvest over the touring flare but I’ll certainly take a 14 inch sport flare over the windvest

The Windvest on the Ultra would need to be at least a couple inches taller for someone of Simon’s height. From the video, it was level with the bottom of his helmet which is too low. Love the look of the Klockwerks, but functionality belongs to the Windvest.
Keith Rabun I agree. We thought it would be a good comparison since they are different lengths but are about the same height due to the way they are formed.

The reason you felt a difference in the wind draft was because you had the air vents open on that bike and you have the vents closed on your bike, can't compare like that! Sorry that's what I saw on the video. And my opinion!
Honesty, I don’t feel much of a difference in wind draft. I was comparing where the wind from the windshield hit us. The vents don’t really effect that
Completely agree. Vents open or close 100% makes a major difference in wind buffeting.
What bars are those?
