I’m very excited for AC. Lots of upgrades for my Ramses, Assassin Lord assassin typal deck, and I might turn my Alesha deck into Altaïr assassin pseudo-reanimator
Yes, It is too soon from MH3, but that's for every release. I think Im on the minority, I was actually happy about AC, I've been wanting to brew an assassin tribal deck since I started playing commander, so this hits the right spot. I believe people are hating on it without taking a second look at the actual cards, there's good stuff in there for a lot of archetipes, and I think they mostly look more "within universe" due to common historical inspiration, I mean, Fiora-Florence, Theros-Greece, Khaldheim-Norse, etc. I'm building Ezio fast assasins, but Kenway is going directly into my pirate deck, and I would be lying if I didn't say both Kassandra and Eivor look like very interesting commanders as well.
Built an Assassin Tribal deck for the Ezio... meanwhile I just so happened to have purchased the Ixilan Pirate Precon a week before Edward Kenway was revealed.... so I have 2 Assassin's Creed commander decks now lol
Yeah, but I don't think that this will change. The etb just searches for one card and the does nothing. The ramp is nice but the mill is almost worthless in bant. What would be the deck strategy you want to have with them?
I would like to pickup a reconnaissance reprint. There is some powerful Legendary equipment as well… I have not been particularly interested in any Commanders from Assassin’s Creed…
I never brewed more commander than for this set. For me, it is a mine of good commanders that have interesting design and different way to build them The freerunning (sorcery and instant) spells are easy include in a lot of my list since they tend to be attack-y with the commander Only commander I didnt brew from your list is Aveline.
Does Alexis Deimos of Kosmos? Keep its counters as it’s passed around I thought it would only it for 5. but does it keep its counters as it moves so 5 then 6 and keep building?
@bruvaroni not really both are strong I think alexios is better cuz he gets bigger and he can't attack ita owner unlike splicer is goaded he can still attack it's owner

Note, Shane and Rebecca can't become a Shorikai due to the fact Shorikai is not a creature

it keeps its counters as long as it doesn't leave the battlefield. Passing from player to player keeps it as the same permanent.
Small nitpick - Slicer comes out a turn earlier than Alexios because of More Than Meets the Eye
Great point
Counter argument chump block able coming from somebody who runs it often
Yea, think Slicer is better.
Counter counter point. You don't have to trample over creatures so Alexios is probably strictly worse most of the time
