I was great admirer of his bowling in 1980's I saw him bowling Irani trophy at Nagpur...He was faster than Kapil Dev he was picked up for Australia tour......But Kapil Dev promoted Chetan Sharma over him and Manindar Singh over Laxmanan Shivramkirshnan ......Kapil dev increased his international lifeline by another 10 year by dropping him.......He took 3 wickets against Srilanka One Dayer in New Delhi PATA Wicket......He is victim of regional politics ......in 1980's ......because Kapil Dev was Captain...is fact on record of Indian domestic cricket rivalry and politics North Zone Vs West Zone ....

Wow! What an awesome episode ! My favorite fast bowler being interviewed by someone from my hometown. Your family did have a great passion for cricket. I still remember the matches at Congress Bhavan and the Zilla Parishad ground. Very proud to see you doing this. If possible, do try to tap into Salil Ankoa, Milind Gunjal, and Shantanu Sugavekar.
