Another thing is, having a conversation to people about God isn't harvesting rather planting, it's a step by step, process by process, you wouldn't expect even though it's possible to get people to believe in one conversation, because people in their lives goes through a lot of things and come from a lot of backgrounds we don't know, so it's a step by step, it's their journey either further away or closer to the truth. But you can make that difference in putting a stone in their shoe of their world view by giving arguements and asking questions as you said.
Hey Ryan this is Jacob i was on your tiktok live earlier. I asked a question and you answered it. I am a Christian and i fell into sin and stuck an addiction. I needed some help and you answered it. But please pray over me. Thank you!
Hi brother. I just found this video. I see your comment was from 8 months ago. How is the addiction problem going for you. I also struggled with addiction many times in my life. Are you leaning into Christ ? I hope and pray that you have received Gods Grace in this matter. If you are still struggling it’s ok. Don’t beat yourself up. We all slip up and it’s easy to just say “well I just can’t stop.” Don’t give the devil or your flesh a foothold. Study the Word and reach out to help others in service. May the Lord of heaven bless you !!!
Jesus using parables also similar to using analogies. For example when Jesus teaching what God’s Kingdom to the people on earth, so Jesus try to find something that people on earth can relate and explain what God’s Kingdom are like to the people who never been there.
There's a big difference between asking a question seeking an honest answer, and asking a question designed to be argumentative. Don't cast you pearls before swine
"For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." Matthew 12:37 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:9 "Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven." Matthew 10:32-33
Hi Ryan. Have you ever thought of making this evangelizing method, from the questions asked, to the analogies used, objections raised (as side points) into a diagram from the top down? We could print it out and memorize it.
this is such a silly question, but has anyone compiled a list of the top 10, 20, 50, etc objections evangelists hear while speaking with nonbelievers and skeptics? I guess the downside might be that we could fall into the temptation to use a preconceived answer that doesn't fully answer the objection a person brought up, but I also feel like that's an issue people deal with regardless of how prepared they are. It seems like having actually thought about these things for ourselves would help more than it would hurt, and i know personally I'm still coming across new objections and questions
The best way to know the objections of unbelievers is to talk to them or read youtube comments you'll often find unbelievers bringing their points and they are often the same points
@@user-jy5qm8nc9m Hi, I was one for years, and much of my family is today :) I live in an area with no shortage of unbelievers to talk to, and I enjoy talking with them, so I understand where you're coming from. My reasoning had more to do with the fact that these conversations can be difficult on both ends, and (as you can see a bit in the video) it is pretty common for both sides to lose graciousness when they're talking about touchy subjects. Theists care so much about their beliefs, and I've noticed atheists and agnostics often do, too. Taking debate classes, one thing I learned of value is that opposing ideas do not have to be a threat at all. It's good to listen to people who have opinions that are different from yours, research the other side, listen to debates, etc- and sometimes doing these things can help a person to be ready to talk to an irl person. We do learn by doing, and it is important to talk to real people (and having real atheists come by would be cool, if they were comfortable), but a lot of people start out very insecure about discussing their beliefs- and they're likely to make relationships between different groups much worse by either getting rude/snarky, or by resorting to manipulative debate strategies. Something I do really like about Sean is that he will normally ask his classes how they think they treated him as an "atheist," and that's an important question to ask. I've seen, and I'm sure you have too, so many atheists and people of faith go into these types of conversations with hostility and no desire to learn or to even teach- that is a real shame. Lots of people start off insecure and unpracticed, and they go into these types of discussions with the intent to try to make someone else look stupid
I have no idea if you will see this bit I figured it might be worth a try. I was brought up catholic and have believed in God all my life until I started to question and when I started to question I discovered things I saw as issues with Christianity and this lead to me moving to athiesm and it was because of one question that is constantly on my mind. the question is. if my mother has been christian all her life and she dies and goes to heaven how can she be happy their with the knowledge that I am suffering for all eternity in the firey pits of hell and if she is happy regardless is she still my mother because part of what makes us human is our feelings. I hope you can answer this question and restore my faith because I want to believe in God. thank you
I might be wrong because I don’t hold the knowledge Ryan does. But only God is all know, so if your mom is rejoicing in heaven and you are in hell then she doesn’t have knowledge that you are in hell. But for you to be saved you have to have faith that Jesus paid for your sins. Accept him as your Lord and Savior. I too was raised Catholic and began and questions their teaching. I am thankful to God for removing the veil from my eyes because Catholicism teaches idolatry .
Witnessing Notes - For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ; for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes. Evolution - The conversation of evolution still requires an answer to the issue of creation. Evolution also requires creation. Objection #1 - I can find out who built this building. - You still agree that there is a builder Objection #2 - I’ve seen buildings being built though - 80% of things around you, you probably have never seen being built. Objection #3 - But I can see this building - Yes, but you don’t see the builder. The building you see leads you to the conclusion that there was a builder. Same with the universe and creation. Objection #4 - But I just don’t believe in God - Me not believing that there is a builder to this building doesn’t change the fact that there’s a builder. And ignorance of the law doesn’t excuse you from it. Bottom Line - You acknowledge that there’s a builder to the building but not a creator to all creation for maybe one reason. Believing there’s a builder to this building has no impact on your life but you know acknowledging there’s a Creator to creation will have an impact in your life. Don’t get so caught up in apologetics. It is the power of God unto salvation. If someone is being stubborn, rude, silly, don’t be afraid to just move to the next person. When Jews rejected the Gospel from Paul, he wiped the dust off his feet, and moved onto the Gentiles who were actually willing to listen. Don’t waste your valuable witnessing time on someone who doesn’t want to listen and is unreasonable. “Thanks for the chat.” Don’t see that as a failure. God has allowed that person to hear what they have heard. The Law of God Do you believe you’re a good person? - Have you ever told a lie? - Have you ever stolen? - Have you ever looked at someone with lust? If God judged you based on just those things? Would you be innocent or guilty? Hell or heaven? (This way they will come to the realization themselves instead of me telling them) Objection #1 - I haven’t killed anyone - Romans 6:23 - A crime is still a crime. You won’t be innocent of a speeding ticket because you told the officer that you’ve never killed anyone. Objection #2 - Everyone does those things - “But officer, everyone speeds all the time” That doesn’t make you innocent, does it? Objection #3 - But I don’t think those things are bad. - If you told a judge that after you committed a crime, would that let you pass by? Objection #4 - I’ve done more good things than bad things - Would a judge let you pass with your crime because you’ve done good things before? SO, if you are seeing that you’re guilty, what can you do now so that you won’t be guilty? Become better, ask for forgiveness, say you won’t do it again? These things won’t work. SOMEONE needs to pay the fine. Someone has to be qualified to pay for this. Again, the wages of sin is death. If that’s what I deserve, only someone that does not deserve it can pay for me. That someone has to be perfect. Do you know of anyone perfect? -The Gospel- SO, if you believe that Jesus died for your sins and paid the price, where would you go? So what would you have to do? Now, if you sin after you believe that, what would that mean? Jesus died for your past sins and also future sins. $20 Analogy If I gave you a $20 “as a gift” and said I’ll give it to you if you washed my car, is that still a gift? No, it’s a payment. Jesus didn’t say, “I’ll die for your sins, if you do this.” He says “I die for your sins as a gift.” Objection - I don’t want someone to take my punishment for me - I don’t think you truly believe that. If you were convicted of a crime, you would do whatever is necessary to minimize your punishment by getting a lawyer. No one says, “Punish me, I deserve it”. ALSO, if you got in a crash because you were texting, and the ambulance came to save you, you wouldn’t say “Don’t save me. This is my fault, I deserve this.” Rejecting the sacrifice of Jesus is the worst thing you can do. The Behavior Change If you were in a burning and collapsing building and a fireman came in and saved your life, how would you feel about the fireman? What would you do? Thank him in all types of ways, right? Now you’re not doing nice things and thanking the fireman so he can save but because he already did save you, right? Exactly the same can be said for Jesus, I don’t obey Jesus so he can save me, but because He already did save me. So again, what do you have to do to get to heaven? [Answer] When do you think you will do that? [Pause conversation] Trust that Jesus paid for your sins > Trust in Jesus Objection - I already believe in Jesus - Believing in Jesus and knowing that He’s real does not save you. If you were in a plane that was about to crash, and you took your parachute and put it on your seat instead of putting it on, what happens? If you jump off you die. Believing the parachute is real doesn’t save you. Knowing about the parachute doesn’t save you. Putting on that parachute since it’s the only thing that can save you is what saves you. In the same way, believing Jesus is real or knowing about the story of Jesus doesn’t save you. You putting all your trust in that He died for your sins is what saves you. Conclusion: Make sure they trust in Jesus alone for their salvation; not a sinner's prayer. Ask if they have a Bible. Suggest they find a local Church. Now keep laboring. Our labor for God is not in vain. We either sow the seed, or water the seed, but ultimately God is who grows the seed.
"I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;" "And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel." "Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
Because there is no need to. When Jesus and the Apostles prayed in the Bible they usually didn't start off their prayers with that exact wording (see for example John 17:1)
This should be how the priests in the Catholic Church talk in church mass. Usually they spit out theor opinions about government and social problems... 😢

-The Gospel-
SO, if you believe that Jesus died for your sins and paid the price, where would you go? So what would you have to do?
Now, if you sin after you believe that, what would that mean? Jesus died for your past sins and also future sins.
$20 Analogy
If I gave you a $20 “as a gift” and said I’ll give it to you if you washed my car, is that still a gift? No, it’s a payment. Jesus didn’t say, “I’ll die for your sins, if you do this.” He says “I die for your sins as a gift.”
Objection - I don’t want someone to take my punishment for me - I don’t think you truly believe that. This is my fault, I deserve this.”
Rejecting the sacrifice of Jesus is the worst thing you can do.
The Behavior Change
If you were in a burning and collapsing building and a fireman came in and saved your life, how would you feel about the fireman? What would you do? Thank him in all types of ways, right?
Now you’re not doing nice things and thanking the fireman so he can save but because he already did save you, right? Exactly the same can be said for Jesus, I don’t obey Jesus so he can save me, but because He already did save me.
So again, what do you have to do to get to heaven? [Answer] When do you think you will do that? [Pause conversation]
Trust that Jesus paid for your sins > Trust in Jesus
Objection - I already believe in Jesus - Believing in Jesus and knowing that He’s real does not save you.
Conclusion:
Make sure they trust in Jesus alone for their salvation; not a sinner's prayer.
Ask if they have a Bible.
Suggest they find a local Church.
Now keep laboring. Our labor for God is not in vain. We either sow the seed, or water the seed, but ultimately God is who grows the seed.

So if is that simple; why so many religions, why so many believes, is there more than one bible that perhaps every one intrepids it differently?
What is Ryan’s full name?
"I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish."
"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;"
"And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel."
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
OH MY GOSH HE HAS LEGS 😮
❤
Hey Ryan why don’t you start off the prayer with the our father which art in heaven ?
Because there is no need to. When Jesus and the Apostles prayed in the Bible they usually didn't start off their prayers with that exact wording (see for example John 17:1)
@@NeedGodnet isn’t the example John 17:1 just for jesus because he god but when we speak to god we should say our father who art in heaven
@@jaronguerra The Christians in the book of Acts didn't pray saying exactly that. See Acts 4:24 they started their prayer with "Sovereign Lord"
