Incredibly strange seing them perform at a smaller outdoor show in the daylight like this. Their stageshow and decorations these days certainly match their music a lot better!
For some reason, I never discovered Ghost until last year and I was hooked instantly. Makes me sad a bit that I missed out on the first two Papas though. And missing shows like this. Whomever recorded this, thank you. I love seeing Ghost before they truly exploded in popularity. Which I'm glad that Ghost is getting the fame and credit it deserves, there's just something _decent_ about seeing them rock out at "smaller venues with smaller crowds". 🤘
I relate so much. I don't know why they flew under my radar until 2021 (I do know how. I refused to listen to any new metal/rock because the oldies were good enough). Back in 2021 I was watching some videos about Rocksmith, a videogame where you plug in your guitar, and you play along. I came across Chainbrain's channel, and Cirice played randomly as I got distracted from another one of his playthroughs. Needless to say, I got incredibly hooked, headbanging, and of course I needed more. I started binge-watching his videos on Ghost. It wasn't until I went online to research the band itself that I saw that they had been dropping great music since 2011. I still to this day feel so sad I didn't witness Ghost rising to the point they are now. I can't help but feel I missed out big time
in daylight or not... they sound amazing! Even James Hetfield likes them, and he's not aware of the existence of any bands after the 90's (and he has a good reason). And what an amazing voice Papa Emeritus has !!! I think Ghost will be legendary.
He said in an Interview with Loudwire that he doesn't sing as well now because he has over the years developed slight claustrophobia with the outfit and masks. He did say it pisses him off too that he can't sing as well due to that. I personally think that's why he runs off stage after most songs now. To take a breather.
Ghost is awesome man. Sure they’re not everyone’s cup of tea but hey that’s their opinions. In my opinion, Ghost is creative and really cool. Oh yeah: Papa’s voice is killer during this show was awesome
I was literally thinking that lmao, about the stage gaurds, lmao, and what must have been going through some of their minds. And personally I like the music even though I am a Christian. Kind of messed up. I am just really into music. And goth things. Yea, the first song I heard was Cirice, and that kind of got me into it...
It just feels wrong to see Ghost playing in the daylight, the should play at night, when I last saw them at Getaway rock festival it was so epic, it was at the night tho it wasn't so dark, but still epic! Great band, thanks for upload!

I saw them at Center Stage the last time they came and it was the best sounding live show I've ever heard. Considering I've been to well over 300 shows, that's saying a lot. Center Stage is by far the best club style venue in Atlanta.
Just got into this band because I saw them touring with Iron Maiden. Picked korn over Iron Maiden because I've already seen Maiden play and haven't had the chance to see korn but I've just got into Ghost and I gotta say this band is very talented and I'm just looking up everything about them. It's magic. Or possibly the costumed guy standing behind the giant red keyboard off to the right is pushing a button that triggers a pre-recorded backing track. Whichever you prefer.
Pope Emeritus I in the live performance was this man singing in this video. But they made it seem like he was two people (Emeritus I and II) by dressing up a roadie or something. Basically to give the effect of Emeritus II usurping Emeritus I.
The vocal note he held at 3:38 was very impressive for a live show. Solid performance.

I found them in 2014 when papa II was the frontman. It was a great time but papa III will always be my favorite.

It's those Orange amps... they're the best in the world.

It could be to do with the way the masks are positioned on his face?

Was at this show- I have to say, even in broad daylight, Ghost kind of stole the show for me (and I love the shit out of Mastodon and Opeth).
LOL at Ghostbusters at the end.
Kind of comical in the light of day at some county fair looking gig.... Lol...
Their appearance now is sharper. Papa's costume now looks more tailored and better kept.
Yeah because that's what it's all about... :p
That same show included Opeth and Mastodon. (The Masquerade Music Park in downtown Atlanta GA)
In the middle of Georgia
This WAS at a county fair, and I was watching from where I worked very close by at a food booth selling deep fried Devil’s Cake.

Yes, they are the same person, but a different character. The one in the video is the first Papa Emeritus, as you can see by the mask.
