Was a weird race a lot of narrow path, it made it really congested all the way through

It isn't so much the turns that are the problem, but there are several places where you are funnelled from a wide area into a narrow one without being able to spot that it's coming up because it's so congested. I passed 3 fallers, who could have caused a lot more carnage than they did. It's a very engaging and potentially fast course but 20,000 runners seems too many. I was on 2h:50 pace until 2km to go when cramp struck and I had runners within a couple of metres left, right, front and behind for the vast majority of it - not as part of a pacing group but just the general crowd - which was a new experience for me.
@SuperFuzzyDunlop Yeah agreed. I don't know why the race organizers didn't just smooth out that turn to be more gradual. No need for it to be so abrupt in the chicane.
I saw that and immediately knew it was going to cause collisions and injuries.

Shame for Mizuno, you should really look at the other running events...Run itself was ok... confusion at the stadium in the morning but ok ..public transport pure ZERO !!! Mizuno and public transport reason to NOT repeat this event ever again
