FACTS, this ride is really fun for someone who’s afraid of rollercoasters. It doesn’t even go that fast yet it feels like it’s going super fast because you’re in complete darkness with the stars rushing past you.
@@adammurphy2141 There’s small drops with one medium sized drop towards the end, but they’re not scary drops, they’re just there to keep the ride fun. I usually don’t ride rollercoasters because of drops but the drops on Space Mountain are really fun and thrilling.
I can confirm it will be fixed. The only reason I can confirm and I know is because I have a couple cast member friends that work at Space Mountain and they told me that there boss told them that they’re going to fix the energy tunnel in August. They told me it’ll be a 2 month project for the refurbishment.
7:42 I think I’m getting the feeling that the onride picture taken re entry tunnel with the colorful whipping stars needs to be fixed as well because I don’t hear the whooshing sound at all right now
Amazing video!!!
And STILL…..The number one ride in all of Disneyland and California Adventure!

Do you think that the blue strobe lights effect will ever be fixed?
If the park bosses have the time.
Awesome video, Kris. The new lighting looks great. Thanks so much!!
Last time I went on this ride was 2006.
Still my favorite ride of all time.

They still haven't fixed the light tunnel yet.
I can’t believe it. It’s been forever since it worked.
I heard from FreshBaked that they're gonna make that tunnel better, they're still working on how to make it work

CM here anything you hear from fresh baked take it as a grain of salt.
@@evanburt2766 Alrighty then. Thanks

Stopped watching the moment the blue tunnel is still 100% broken.
I heard they were going to fix it when they renovate. I think.
What about the track noise?
@@stephenn77 That track noise has been there since the day it reopened in 2005 after the interior rebuild.
@@chicagocarlessIt’s closed for refurb now and I hope they’re fixing the tunnel!
@@chicagocarlessSounds like a wheel that needs some grease!
W for adding those 2 blue galaxies! Just add some meteors, and it’ll look exactly like the old Space Mountain Mission 2 💪💪💪

We're back, Space Mountain at Disneyland.
Are they going to fix the loud scraping noise???
i was once on something like this except it had hyper in the name of the roller coaster and you have a clue how fast it was!!!!!!
one of my favorites! such a shame that it'll be closed when i go this month. :(
I prefer this over the Disney World version because it feels like it’s built into the land rather than being separate architecture.
Oh good, I was afraid they might not show walking through the ropes. Again. For those interested, ff to 4:30.

Wish I was there!
