@Bryce Crew Because no one should get views and followers because they went and defaced someone else's property. @Bryce Crew Not a problem! I honestly don't mind all tagging - graffiti is sometimes really cool (when in shells of factories, or not historical areas, or done with permission of the owner) and I get writing your name on say a summer camp bed as some tradition. But doing it so out in the open to Twitter, Tumblr or Instagram in a room you know gets the most pictures is just rude, especially considering the history of the place.

@@nosajdabeno You’re welcome. I don’t like seeing it either 🙁 Yes I’ve noticed other channels will sometimes mention it in the title or description which I always appreciate.
You guys should re-visit the nuclear plant you went to a few years back, the one with the power still on, and you went at night. (I know the plant's name, but I'm keeping the location a secret b/c I understand you wanted location to be undisclosed) : )
Hint when wearing them respirators (msa?), at the chin area, you get condensation puddling from breathing. When you tip your head down, swish of wet. Roll up a small piece of paper towel or rag and stuff in the chin spot. Helps if your in them long. Thanks for the video
Theory about the poop step: feral cats middening. They poop in an open space as kind of a way to mark a space as their hunting grounds. Makes sense that there would be a lot since one marks it, then the next is like nope this is my space. Cats can be territorial creatures. Don't judge my cat knowledge, I work at an animal shelter.
Cats usually don’t mark their territory with feces. Instead they use urine, and unneutered male cats will spray. Wild or feral cats tend to bury their feces to make it harder for predators to track them. That is why domesticated cats bury their feces in a litter box. My guess is that all the poop on those stairs is from raccoons in that building.
It's rare to see the fallout cots, let alone that many. Usually the fallout shelters just have the carbohydrate suppliments, survival crackers, survival biscuits, water / sanitation containers.
Whenever I watch you guys, it reminds me of the works of Marty Stouffer and his brothers. While they filmed wildlife and were not personally filmed as part of the production, the quality and vision is there. It is not as easy as many may think, to create an awesome photo/video graphic work of art. I know you two are not brothers but you might as well be. True masters of your craft. Thanks Guys!! (An Old Man).
that cat running around in there, she has probably been there since before they were there last time, and the other cats running around are probably her children. :)
i can remember that being a problem in many of the larger houses, usually for high rank members, on military bases where i lived and what a chore it was to clean up for the families who lived there.
Asbestos has to be disturbed to be a threat. So if it's left undisturbed it's not an issue. Although if a cat clawed it that obviously would be different.
I've seen documentaries and heard stories of the fear of nuclear attack in the 60's during the cold war. It's really great to see raw footage of bomb shelter relics.
Ive been really sick with a terrible flu (not covid dw) but i spent the last 3ish days just binge watching your videos because when you explore, you take your time and your calm. Unlike other Urban explorers who are a little too rambunctious for my liking. Love every video!!!! Thanks guys!! 🥰
I really wonder what it looked like prior to being trashed so bad. I’ve seen fallout shelters before but would be interested to see how a asylum/psych facility would secure patients especially if they had aggressive patients.
You guys should go visit one of the ghost towns in Washington state. I know alot of people have visited them and they are highly documented, but it would be a great experience either way. For both you guys and us, the viewers.
Haha, that last staircase blocked off by furniture and debris, reminds me of like every video game where a staircase is blocked off for no reason other than to indicate to the player "dead end, we didn't want to build more of the building after this point for you to explore!" LOL So yeah no point trying to find another staircase up there, there would be nothing up there but empty space. The developers didn't put anything up there in the level!
Love the asylums, and especially the fallout shelters. The medical / surgical supply box had what looked like date on it of "3-54" on the top left hand side. Awesome.
I cannot say i have purchased any of the products you have advertised yet. But i gladly watch through that part of the videos without skipping because you guy are awesome and these videos are great.

"Ether and Mask" would be anesthetic. I was anesthetized with Ether when I had my tonsils removed at age 4 in the 60's. The mask (yes, I remember it) was put over my face and ether was poured or sprayed onto it. I didn't go under until I was told to breath out. (I guess I was told that because I wouldn't have comprehended "exhale"). Then I was out and the classic doctor and nurse chatter became a weird dream. "So Gladys, how was your weekend?" "Oh it was fine Doctor. My husband and I took the kids to...........". ZZzzzz. Then came the Ice Cream!!! ;-)
Ive been looking forward to your newest upload for awhile. Perfect timing as I have been sick the past week so this is a nice spirit lifter (sucks being away from work). Always love watching you guys, so thank you for another exploration.

I'm happy to see you guys with proper PPE (I'm assuming yall wear steel toes too), but you DO know that asbestos won't just jump off pipes, ceiling or whatever. You're only in danger if you kick up a bunch of the dust or try tearing it down. Great vid as ALWAYS guys!!

I can't speak for these guys but I can tell you I recently explored an abandoned mall and was looking over my shoulder the whole time and left in a sweat so bad I thought I was at the gym.
I'm often like that when I go urbexing (I don't video though). If there is any other sound other than my breaths (or respirator when my enclosed air "helmet" isn't being used), I will turn and look around frantically. I often leave early because of that.
Jesus for years, I have been waiting for a network to pick this show up. I think everyone knows the quality of your work hands down the best on youtube. keep it coming boys
A network isn't going to deal with the potential legal fallout from them trespassing. I'm honestly surprised they can convince sponsors to jump onboard.
@@Cyba_IT agree. they're going to gain a little to nothing suing these guys. They would choose jailtime over paying millions which they don't have. Also, filing cases isn't free and so hiring lawyers. The owners of the abandoned place are either in debt or bankrupt. However, if a tv network is involved, the owners will sue them.
Guys, it would be smart to take hardhat helmets and protection gloves with you along the masks. They can get in the way some times but you never know where you are geting into or what´s on the other side of that door. Still, incredible videos!!!
@theproperpeople you guys always bring up the importance of these structures and what history they meant to people. Wear those respirators guys. Please I’m begging you.
Looking forward to part 2! As always, excellent exploration and very interesting to see stuff that hasn’t been touched for decades, keep up the adventures.
Never been this early. Cheers to the Proper People for a wonderful weekend upload. I would love to go with you guys if you ever came to Virginia to explore. I’ve worked in the commercial construction industry for years and know a lot about the hazards in these kinds of buildings and methods used to build them.
How long does it take for buildings to start having the paint peel? I've been told it's actually pretty quick because the humidity from people living inside keeps it from drying out and peeling.
You guys seem like the kind of people I could really vibe with. I really see alot of similarities between us. Wish I could go exploring with you someday. Maybe if you ever come to Washington state :P
Just an FYI. Asbestos is not hazardous unless it's disturbed. Unless it is burned, or moved or opened up. The asbestos you're looking at on the piping is considered non-friable. So it's safe to be around. Hopefully you're wearing respirators with new cartridges on them. Those are cartridges that are full of activated charcoal and are good for only 8 hours.
Actually, with the advances in nuclear technology, those fallout shelters would just be crematoriums. If within 10 miles of a strike every living thing would be vaporized, the oxygen would be sucked away suffocating you and the streets would be on fire (asphalt streets anyway). In the 60’s Khrushchev said “the living will envy the dead” and he was right. Took a fascinating class called “War in the nuclear age” which actually calmed many of my fears about nuclear war. I live within 10 miles of a nuclear target, so I don’t worry about how to survive anymore. The
thought the filters were yellow labeled and said "Oh no, he's using the wrong filter." but later on I've learned it was black - meaning it's an organic combined filter
Uh, I would use a CBRN filter on a respirator. Mould is organic, asbestos is not - thus you need the best combo filter when doing stuff like this. Also, there could be "other stuff" that a "normal" filter can't stop.
Super cool video! Always been curious what steam tunnels looked like. My university probably has them - in researching unrelated things, I've read mentions of a map, but have never found anything. By the way, bats are not rodents - they're just bats, their own thing.
hmmm no kitchen or surgical areas in fallout areas. love all windows, dont think it would be much of a safety barrier to radiation especially when opened
At 4:05 in my thoughts are threefold: 1. Like wilderness trekkers I hope these guys leave their destination info with a trusted “control” individual. All it takes is one piece of unstable HVAC and we have a serious survival situation 2. Please God tell me they carry survival gear⛏🛠🪓🔦📱💧🔥🧗🏼♂️ 🩹🍫☕️🥽🥾🪖 3. The control person mentioned above should be in sat phone or GPS/text communication with these guys. The potential for getting pinned, entrapped, imprisoned or a bad fall is freakin huge. At 1.2M subs hopefully the resources for a comprehensive safety plan are in place. ❤️❤️❤️LOVE these vids 👍🏼 PS: carry compasses and consider popping a chem light here n there like cavers and cave divers do.

Glad to see their taking their health more seriously by using respirators.
Me to, just with the bright light, you can see how much dust is floating around.
Now they just need eye protection, that shit can damage the eyes too!
i'd rather hear their breathing through masks than know they are continuously exposing their lungs to asbestos how many times a year to make an income... not worth it, content is great with protection anyways
There cloths and hair would be so contaminated basically pointless wearing a mask plus he’s got a beard and wouldn’t get a air tight seal
now all they need are some gloves
Love the long videos. Well every video but long ones especially. Keep em coming boys!
I'm so glad you blurred out the Instagram tags that were scrawled on the walls. I hate it when people do stuff like that. ETA: Warning to anyone who is sensitive about such things: there's a dead cat at 17:51.
Thank you for the heads up on the cat. That's the one thing that bothers me about urbex vids. Some blur the dead animals out, others don't and give no warning. 👎😢
@@nosajdabeno You’re welcome. I don’t like seeing it either 🙁 Yes I’ve noticed other channels will sometimes mention it in the title or description which I always appreciate.
lots of asbestos on those heating pipes
Thanks for the heads up. It doesn’t bother me about other animals, but I’m loyal to cats… my heart can’t take it.
You guys should re-visit the nuclear plant you went to a few years back, the one with the power still on, and you went at night. (I know the plant's name, but I'm keeping the location a secret b/c I understand you wanted location to be undisclosed) : )
That place now finally has the level of security you would expect an abandoned nuclear power plant to have. Good luck to anyone who tries to go.
Oop I mean it's about time though :3
im pretty sure you can be shot on sight if you are seen on nuclear plant grounds as well....
A quick google search and a list of abandon/unfinished nuclear power plants and their location pops up
sounds like a dare. @@TheProperPeople
Don't judge my cat knowledge, I work at an animal shelter.
everytime I walk across a brown turd from a person that had left it on the sidewalk makes me think of cats
Cats usually don’t mark their territory with feces. Instead they use urine, and unneutered male cats will spray. Wild or feral cats tend to bury their feces to make it harder for predators to track them. That is why domesticated cats bury their feces in a litter box. My guess is that all the poop on those stairs is from raccoons in that building.
you got a big ass forehead
@@pigon1649 Come on, man.

It's rare to see the fallout cots, let alone that many. Usually the fallout shelters just have the carbohydrate suppliments, survival crackers, survival biscuits, water / sanitation containers.
This channel has the most amazing content. Professionally edited, quality, composition, and groovy locations.
"I pity the fool...who didn't bring his respirator" lmfao
Whenever I watch you guys, it reminds me of the works of Marty Stouffer and his brothers. While they filmed wildlife and were not personally filmed as part of the production, the quality and vision is there. It is not as easy as many may think, to create an awesome photo/video graphic work of art. I know you two are not brothers but you might as well be. True masters of your craft. Thanks Guys!! (An Old Man).
that cat running around in there, she has probably been there since before they were there last time, and the other cats running around are probably her children. :)
Damn, if asbestos affects cats the same way it does humans, than I feel really bad for all those cats living there :(
If it takes years for asbestos to cause damage to lungs, maybe the cats' natural lifespan won't let them be affected. I hope so at least
@@leinanightray4294 this is the same logic as the wild life in Chernobyl's forest they live too short to have any major issues.
i can remember that being a problem in many of the larger houses, usually for high rank members, on military bases where i lived and what a chore it was to clean up for the families who lived there.
Asbestos has to be disturbed to be a threat. So if it's left undisturbed it's not an issue. Although if a cat clawed it that obviously would be different.
Seeing this place never gets old. It's a labyrinth of structures with mixed styles and functions. Fascinating.
Wow. Another fantastic episode. You really became masters at this over the years. Thank you so much for sharing!
I've seen documentaries and heard stories of the fear of nuclear attack in the 60's during the cold war. It's really great to see raw footage of bomb shelter relics.
I'm glad we bigfoots dont have to worry much about fallout way out here in the woods
Sure taunt us small feet. The shame of a size 11.
12:32 did anyone notice the operation game board just sitting by the chair? And at 15:02, it sounded like a cat meowing.
Given the era probably heavy sedatives and restraints. Patients were not really treated as human.
You guys should go visit one of the ghost towns in Washington state. I know alot of people have visited them and they are highly documented, but it would be a great experience either way. For both you guys and us, the viewers.
Did you have any in mind?
@@Cthippo1 a specific ghost town in the woods after a hike. Have to find the name of it
So when are you guys getting your own Netflix series?? It's gotta be soon right? Yall are so awesome you deserve one by now.
Except they break and enter/against the law.
They are too good for Netflix.
@@GeminieCricket they didn’t break anything to enter.
@@GeminieCricket depends if theres a sign or not
@@GeminieCricket true, but I'm sure Netflix money could get them into anywhere they like :)
My exact thoughts
Totally reminds me of the old Hudson River State Hospital.
"This wall's really green. I like it." 👌🏽👍🏽😆
Love the asylums, and especially the fallout shelters. The medical / surgical supply box had what looked like date on it of "3-54" on the top left hand side. Awesome.
Love ur all videos ... Love from India 🇮🇳
I cannot say i have purchased any of the products you have advertised yet. But i gladly watch through that part of the videos without skipping because you guy are awesome and these videos are great.
I can totally see another silent hill movie being made here! Narration is spot on..great job guys!
this particular location and series is some of your best work (and you guys have a LOT of work). having watched every episode you’ve ever published, i can safely say you’re also my favorite channel on UA-cam. look forward to Part 4.
ZZzzzz. Then came the Ice Cream!!! ;-)
Must've been quite the experience if you still remember it
thanks for being safe and wearing the respirators and the revisit of the site
14:53 Sounds like someone's having a good time down there
Lol I heard that too!
Ive been looking forward to your newest upload for awhile. Perfect timing as I have been sick the past week so this is a nice spirit lifter (sucks being away from work). Always love watching you guys, so thank you for another exploration.
FRIDAY! I CAN STAY UP TILL 2:00 WATCHING PROPER PEOPLE. they realy are propper
These people are hacks and always have been.
my favorite youtubers to watch at 2am
Lol same here
This 3:44 is a beautiful album cover for a metal band. 🤘😉
Ha, so funny. I was just thinking, that would fit some nineties Tool album perfectly.
Love places like this, I never been in one but I love watching the videos of explorations.. I loved the one place in Germany you went where it was all falling in, it was just amazing to watch. Thanks again for another video and keep em coming! I love them!
I've always liked Urbexp, since it was only photos about 15-20 years ago, this channel is the best so far.
You really are the Proper People!
May I also suggest Broken Window Theory. Their videos and cinematography are on point as well. The group is also German and their videos again are insanely good!
Ikea Mike Desk at 13:50 still available at Ikea but not the tromso bed...i work for them since 2000 😁😉
You guys take so many risks to bring us these awesome videos. Glad to see you with those respirators on! Thanks for your artistry guys 🖤
There's something so satisfying and comforting just chillin watching one of your videos. Feels like I've learned something while relaxing, and being entertained all at the same time.
Love you guys!
My guess is that the dead cat had a run in with that raccoon and did not win.
Time Stamp 3:32:
Dungeon Master: So while travelling down the dungeon corridor you see a black, viscous, thick fluid slowly dripping from the ceiling.

Dungeon Master: Uh...roll initiative.
I love how the cats are all just "I LOOK AT HIM... AND HE LOOKS AT ME! AND I LOOK AT HIM, AND HE LOOKS AT ME!"
Are you guys ever afraid when exploring abandoned places? I’d be nervously looking behind me every 2 seconds and jumping at every little sound lmao
Me also. I would be pooping my pants
I can't speak for these guys but I can tell you I recently explored an abandoned mall and was looking over my shoulder the whole time and left in a sweat so bad I thought I was at the gym.
@@GhostGuyExplorations412 lmao
I'm often like that when I go urbexing (I don't video though). If there is any other sound other than my breaths (or respirator when my enclosed air "helmet" isn't being used), I will turn and look around frantically. I often leave early because of that.

Jesus for years, I have been waiting for a network to pick this show up. I think everyone knows the quality of your work hands down the best on youtube. keep it coming boys
I agree, they’re honestly better off getting paid by you tube if they aren’t already.
A network isn't going to deal with the potential legal fallout from them trespassing. I'm honestly surprised they can convince sponsors to jump onboard.
@@Helvetica_Scenario Ikr. I'm surprised land owners don't see their vids and sue or prosecute. They must know some pretty sneaky loopholes.
Its comforting to know that the people best positioned to survive a nuclear war were those committed to an assylum.
if this was a paranormal channel all you would hear is this place is haunted as hell lol. im glad you guess have a level head.
Do you view yourself as salvaging the last parts of history most feel best left forgotten?
I get this interesting feeling that you both sorta stumbled into being urban historians for many of these structures, knowingly or not.
I love it and just want y’all to be safe. Wear those respirators guys. Please I’m begging you.
That noise in the fallout shelter sounded like raccoons. Since you had seen other raccoons, there could have been a whole family of them there.
Looking forward to part 2! As always, excellent exploration and very interesting to see stuff that hasn’t been touched for decades, keep up the adventures.
That opening shot was fantastic.
Very happy to see you guys returning to this place. So much to explore! Thanks for all you do.👍🏼🤘🏼😎

When i see cats
Living in such poor conditions it makes me happy that I give mine such a good life
It's wild how literally every corner of this place just screams Silent Hill.
I've been told it's actually pretty quick because the humidity from people living inside keeps it from drying out and peeling.
ive seen it happen in buildings in under a year if left to the elements
You guys seem like the kind of people I could really vibe with. I really see alot of similarities between us. Wish I could go exploring with you someday. Maybe if you ever come to Washington state :P
Spooky place Guys... And more Spooky with the mask and heavy breathing... Sounds like a Zombie Movie🧟♀️🧟♂️👍Love from Denmark🇩🇰
Just an FYI. Asbestos is not hazardous unless it's disturbed. Unless it is burned, or moved or opened up. The asbestos you're looking at on the piping is considered non-friable. So it's safe to be around. Hopefully you're wearing respirators with new cartridges on them. Those are cartridges that are full of activated charcoal and are good for only 8 hours.
isn't scared of abandoned mental asylum but is scared of raccoons :D
Actually, with the advances in nuclear technology, those fallout shelters would just be crematoriums. If within 10 miles of a strike every living thing would be vaporized, the oxygen would be sucked away suffocating you and the streets would be on fire (asphalt streets anyway). In the 60’s Khrushchev said “the living will envy the dead” and he was right. Took a fascinating class called “War in the nuclear age” which actually calmed many of my fears about nuclear war. I live within 10 miles of a nuclear target, so I don’t worry about how to survive anymore. The
U all edit your videos very well
thought the filters were yellow labeled and said "Oh no, he's using the wrong filter." but later on I've learned it was black - meaning it's an organic combined filter
*Regular viewer savors the episode because they only come out bi-weekly*
"NEXT WEEK'S EPISODE" 🥳🙆🏼♀️😭
I remember this place, smart that you found the shelter hidden here on your return.
These videos take me to that time period which is why I really enjoy watching them.
11:23 please tell me you hit the fan to make it spin because if not that's terrifying
At 4:05 in my thoughts are threefold:
1. Like wilderness trekkers I hope these guys leave their destination info with a trusted “control” individual. All it takes is one piece of unstable HVAC and we have a serious survival situation
2. Please God tell me they carry survival gear⛏🛠🪓🔦📱💧🔥🧗🏼♂️ 🩹🍫☕️🥽🥾🪖
3. The control person mentioned above should be in sat phone or GPS/text communication with these guys. The potential for getting pinned, entrapped, imprisoned or a bad fall is freakin huge. At 1.2M subs hopefully the resources for a comprehensive safety plan are in place.
