I did some research on this base in Italian media and it looks like it has been stripped of everything of value by thieves once the base was officially dismissed at the end of the 90s. Some even suggest that this was coordinated by someone who knew the base well, since it seemed like a professional job. Apparently at some point there was even an illegal doghouse in/near the turret you show in the video (I think), where they would raise rottweilers for either resale or illegal dog fights. It's a shame it is abandoned like this, I think it would make for a pretty cool museum about cold war, but I guess it would lose its charm as an abandoned place.
In my country, many bunkers which in coldwar were on the other side to this NATO bunker, were strip to the last piece of metal by so called "scrap metal thieves" - but do not imagine them being bunch of hillbillies with crappy handtools. Keep it up lads, subscribed.
Incredible place and a very, very good exploration! Greetings from another German/English explorer ;)
@18:38 Imagine taking a lovely Sunday walk out in nature and hearing that ominous sound coming from the grounds below you
🤣
I thought the same
Wow! Beautifully presented and filmed !
I couldn't even watch you guys crawling through that vent......gave my hair stand on end!
We're all glad Marco had to go first. Well except Marco :D
@@bwturbex Way to be brave, Marco!
@@bwturbex I do believe this is probably only current entrance, as otherwise the bunker would look alike the ones in my country - just bare concrete. There is usualy no single piece of metal. Literaly striped to the concrete bone.
WOW Guys I couldn't breath the whole time you were in that shaft! How do you do it?? This place is so scary not only because of what it was used for but because the decay is so frightening!! Im shocked at the size of that massive tank under ground!!! SHOCKING!!! Great job again guys!!
Grazie edo jannone
What an intriguing and dangerous place!! Great work!!
It was not easy to document this one! Breathing and moving was tough in there.
Alles gute wo immer Ihr seid.
I was happy when you guys came out the tunnel.
We are for sure as well!!!
Wow, this is a creepy place. Under normal circumstances I am not suffering from claustrophobia, but in this underground facility, with no daylight at all and no fresh air, this is a completely different matter. The echo makes me shiver and I try to imagine what it would feel like if all the artificial lights went out, what a horrific scenery!!!! But the way you are planning your excursions, properly and completely, I trust that in case of such an emergency you gave information about your whereabouts to good friends or even family, so that you cannot get lost. I love exploring, but I am not sure, if I would be brave enough to enter such a frightening place - well done folks!!! Oh - and by the way - I am greatly looking forward to my copy of your 2021 Calendar. :-)
Fantastic, another grand explore!! I'm claustrophobic to an extent, no way I'd crawl in there. But thank you guys for doing that!👍👌✌
Well we all had to overcome our fear first, nobody wanted to go first..
Every time I see videos of abandoned places I can't help but wonder how it was at its prime time when it was fully occupied and lively 🤔🤔. Thank you for sharing this.
You guys seriously missed out on a chance to recreate the Halo theme on a whole new level in that water reservour!
This was definitely one of your more risky explores. The climb in through that tunnel was something else. What an amazing place. Loving your Italy series, also can't wait to get next year's calendar 👍
Cheers! Did you grab your copy of the calendar already?
@@bwturbex I have, yeah. I have your 2020 calendar and it's awesome!
13:10 - Yes, that's a telecommunications jumper frame, or what's left of it!
Thought so. Thanks for confirming! We only saw active ones so far.
I have problems with a MRI tube. I don’t know how you do it. God bless you all.
Thankfully nobody of us is very claustrophobic
@@bwturbex just a bit, and that's okay
Brilliant Video Lads
Bless Up
Cheers! See you next time! We will be back with the next adventure in two weeks.
He should have bought the gallo 12 and pack a punched it he could have definitely survived more rounds and you can get the wonder weapon with the keycard
Such an underestimated shotgun
They should make a Zombies map based on this base.
@@SHALOMIEDAHOMMIE it already looks like die machine
Gotta say that I was expecting this video for some time, I could even smell the rust! It was awesome! I'd like only to suggest you guys to wear both military grade boots and climbing helmets. Those caves and corridors could be crawing with sharp rusty metal rods! Thanks, I really enjoyed it! Loving your channel already from MX
I have already subscribed....I’m italian and you are one of my favorite youtubers for now...love this exploration!💪🏼💪🏼❤️
Guys im speechless beiieve me awesome awsome awsome what a gut feeling love u guys pls stay safe i love u all
You guys are incredible! That entrance would have been the point most people turned around. Also glad you guys were cautious and wore masks and did what you could to be safe. Need you guys healthy for more amazing videos like this!
The government must have built a new bunker somewhere.
They never abandoned a facility until they have a new one.
Depends on the budget. Seeing as the italian military has seen serious past-cold war cuts, I doubt they would just as easily build a new one.
Yes, because the old facilities are mostly too expensive to maintain, upgrade or get rid of asbestos etc it is cheaper to build from scratch
Yes because as the guy said its to expensive t maintain, and most likely the bunker is known already...
Euer Anliegen bleibt mir Unvergessen. Keine Panik.
Chi qua da edoardo jannone?
Videos are pretty amazing , channel deserves more attention
12:40 Noooo..il piedone
Era il mio gelato preferito da bambino
e i prezzi in lire, mitico piedone
Wow. Amazing video! The place, the quality of the edit, the music... what an experience!
Amazing video! You said this was the riskiest exploration of the Italy trip. Then what was THE riskiest trip you have ever done?
This one is about to come in 2021... hopefully. 🤞
WOW! those copper guys would be millionaires by now! Damn - would have loved to do the job with them! AWESOME! i can only imagine the big copper coils coming out of that giant complex! PLUS the fun of exploring and destroying the whole thing! NICE JOB - not much left as it seems!
It’s cool watching the production value go so high in the newer episodes
You guys create incredible content! Thank you so much for bringing a world we never knew existed to our attention. Must just be incredible to have the opportunity to explore these places!
