I've lived in North Buffalo my whole life and you're 100% right about Hertel Ave. It's the heart of N. Buff and if you want any type of food from almost anywhere in the world you just need to walk it. From Delaware to Colvin is considered "Little Italy" but along Hertel you can find Greek, Italian, Mexican, steak, Chinese, Japanese, Thai and Vietnamese and even Ethiopian food (Buffalo has developed a significant E. African community in recent years). In the past say 10 years or so we've also had a huge influx in our Middle Eastern community so there are also alot of great Halal places now as well. Great videos man. I love hearing people talk up the 716
You don't know how much I appreciate your videos as a Buffalonian. I've always been told to hate my city and i've grown to believe that it brings so little to the table that my only future prospects should be far away lol. However, I'm so glad that you make this content to remind me all the great things about my Buffalo. Go Bill!
Thank you so much for this! My husband grew up in the area, and we are moving back sometime soon. I was wondering, could you do a video on Grand Island? We've inherited property there, and I'd love to have some more specific info to that area. Love your videos!
Devonte, more of your wonderful work. You once mentioned that you attended college. Was that In Buffalo? I'm a Buffalo State grad 1974; that was after 2 years in the army.
As a lifelong Buffalonian I dont like how you describe it as a Southern state up North. It would be more accurate to call it Midwestern or something in between. Buffalo and the Rust Belt in general definitely has a grittiness to it’s vibe and personality that makes it somewhere in between the East Coast and the core Midwest but not remotely Southern.
I think you getting confused with the only Tops on the east side? The east side is definitely a food desert unfortunately, but there’s plenty of supermarkets in/ around buffalo There no supermarkets downtown Buffalo though which is crazy
I wish my town in S.E. Erie County would leave Erie County as I hate so much of our tax dollars being pumped into that cesspool of crime. I only time my car was ever broken into was in that cesspool of Buffalo. While Buffalo has some sort of gun/knife/assault on a nightly basis, in the 40 years I've lived in S.E. Erie County we only had ONE domestic shooting. Let me tell you the problem with Buffalo is not the cops nor the Amish. I do everything possible to not even drive through it and IMO it should be against the Law for Erie County to even demand we go to that cesspool for Jury Duty.
In the world of Reality Buffalo, NY is indeed a Cesspool of Crime, while in the Fantasy World of Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts Buffalo, NY is a Cesspool of Dark Magic activities performed mainly by Mistress Imortapernia’s Dark Magical Renegades !
Two places to NEVER go - Williamsville and Elmwood. Both of those places have a lot of violent crime, crazy rioting, and triggered folks who just are angry.
So how to deal with mountain of snow during winter here? Should I just buy a condos if i am moving here? So i don't need to deal with digging out my driveway and car during winter?
You should do a video about the colleges in Buffalo if you haven't already
I have two dropping in the upcoming weeks,
That’s so crazy you said that
Thinking about moving to Amherst from Denver. Sooo happy I found your channel.
Thank you Jessica!
Yes let me know how I can help!!

my favorite thing in the east side is bangladesh driving on walden. that sign needs to be made into a historic monument.

Expect me to contact your office real soon 😊
I laugh when people assume we are so close to NYC and can just go into the city whenever.
Yes, I tell people all the time it’s a night and day difference
It like almost 500 miles away

Buffalo is like Chicago Jr now unfortunately !
Bro it's "Say-Inz"
Two places to NEVER go - Williamsville and Elmwood. Both of those places have a lot of violent crime, crazy rioting, and triggered folks who just are angry.
are we talking about the same two places? those are two of the nicest parts of buffalo
Right 😂😂 I'm confused..those are the places you want to be
Willamsville is nice from what I saw
So how to deal with mountain of snow during winter here? Should I just buy a condos if i am moving here? So i don't need to deal with digging out my driveway and car during winter?
