I have several sigs and they are superb, accurate and user friendly, I recently saw the 226 r for sale used for $375 in 40 and 9mm treat yourself to a great piece.
Great video. I have the SP2022 and im waiting for my local gun shop to get this exact same firearm in. You're demeanor and the fact that you put in Mrs Bear shooting shows real peopleness so now you have a new subscriber. Keep em coming
I really liked the review. Your demeanor is refreshing from all the loud and foul mouthed tacticool morons out there. Subscribed. I have a P226 Legion and love the whole 226 series.
Outstanding Vidio. I love my basic Nitron version. I'm not nor will I be a Navy Seal nor will I be entering the Canadian RMP. So this basic model serves me well. I carry a .40 but I have replaced the barrel with the 357 sig which is a great round. Keep up the visions. Stay safe.
Nothing wrong with the basic model at all. I would have got it if I could have found one in .40 but only the Legion was available. Not at all unhappy I have the Legion but would have been totally satisfied with the Nitron.
I just found a Sig P226R at my local LGS-- it's used, with a few scratches but over all it's solid. I always wanted a P226. So i have it on layaway. I chose the 226R over a M17.
Great video with a ton of applicable information ~ I have the old model Sig P220 chambered in .45 ACP & it shoots SMOOOTHLY (NOT ENOUGH “O’s” in Smooth to describe it)..!!! 🇺🇸 #2A 🇺🇸
The R just means it has a rail at the bottom and the Mk25 (navy seal one) has the little anchor logo on the side and the internals are treated against salt water I believe.
My SIG SP2022 is my daily carry for 3 years now. I'm picking up this same P-226 Nitron 9mm Sad fact is here in Socialist Californistan, we are limited to 10 round magazines. Great video..keep up the good work.

how well does it handle the 357 sig ammo? Does it give you any feeding issues?
I too use mine in 357 Sig. I've been meaning to get a 9mm conversion but haven't got around to it.
My number one choice since 1985.
Can't go wrong with a P226 :)
Nice review. I'm a big fan of the Sig P226, I have the TacOps version
I really like it also. Thanks for supporting our channel!

5:57 That standard reset is on the long side so the SRT is a nice option.

Is there a difference between the P226 R and the P226 (Navy Seal) ?
The R just means it has a rail at the bottom and the Mk25 (navy seal one) has the little anchor logo on the side and the internals are treated against salt water I believe.
I just bought my first Sig P226 Nitron in .40 SW. It's going to become my Daily Carry after i get my LTC in texas
It will never let you down. Thanks for supporting our channel!
Looks like a nice piece. Something about having an all-metal gun interests me.
It's not all metal
@@TheGabrielino98 Oh, well mostly-metal then?
Christian Cerna I own 2 and one is SAO. Both aluminum frames. The older DA/SA was made in 1984 in W. Germany, aluminum frame.
My SIG SP2022 is my daily carry for 3 years now. I'm picking up this same P-226 Nitron 9mm
