People didn't seem to notice the part where Escanor said to Galand that he stands on the pinnacle of all clans and didn't turn to stone 😂 mf really is the sin of pride.
Clearly didn’t finish.. the reason why he didn’t turn to stone was because he had the “Grace Sunshine” same reason why Estarossa command of love didn’t work on him also

@@-01x It's Escanor's first introduction in the manga. Edinburgh is where the vampire clan woke up after being sealed by Zeldris. Also, it's the place with the huge hole and red-purple structure where you see the commandments resting in season 2.

My guy really said his glasses breaking was the trigger to him getting bigger...
He is not wrong though you might miss this in the anime but in the manga that glasses are actually designed by Merlin herself
It can block his magic to make him stay skinny in daylight, sure the sun amplify his magic but if the glasses is on he will stay as his weakest self even during the day

If not for the fact that Escanor is immune to commandments thanks to the fact that Sunshine is a Grace, and thus, protects from Commandments.
Wtf u think escanor was gana do in that time?? He would kill him a 1000 times over💀, remember Escanor possess an angels grace, so the rules of Galands commandment won't work on him
@@hasynainy9371 Escanor doesn't know that though, he doesn't learn that Sunshine was a grace until after his fight with Estarossa. He would definitely operate under the belief that he is vulnerable to it. Also, as he is an arrogant man, he wouldn't go back on his word. So technically, due to a lack of knowledge, Galand would beat Escanor if he just waited until sunset.

We know. The line was used in joking reference to Escanor BECAUSE his power is all about the sun. He rises and falls with it, he's physically hot, you can say he emulates the sun. Thus, praising him can also be "Praising the Sun". The joke is a direct reference to the Dark Souls line.
