Probably one of the best first cars you can get. If you don't already work on your own vehicles. Start watching UA-cam videos and maintain it your self. Save money on repair shops and it'll be the best bang for your buck vehicle you could ever own.

I beg to differ on the zero clearance engine design, and 4 runners dont last as long as camery... dont assume, im from a ford family, im speaking from my 20 years professionally driving on our nation's roads and paying attention. Far less old 4 runners than old Toyota cars that dont use zero clearance engine design.
I have a 2005 Honda Pilot with over 400k miles and no issues. I change oil like every 10k miles if I remember. Sadly it's catalytic converter is giving me the dreaded p420 code lol.

After 500,000 miles total on 2 Toyotas I can say they did always start. There were other issues once running, but they did always, and continue to start.
Best cars I've seen have been crown vics built solid as hell and last forever. I've got everything in my family and the toughest most reliable I've seen have been crown vic especially the interceptors. Nothing gets treated worse and lasts like that. Toyota's and Honda ridgelines last because the get treated fantastic usually not much work just picking up groceries and such.
Kudos to your battery. I have started my cars (Ford's, Chevy's, Hyundai's) at much lower temps(-40s) here in Canada easily on the first try without block heaters(so it's not a Toyota or Lexus thing, any modern car will start easily). However when temps drop too low, it's always recommended to use Battery warmers & chargers, Block Heaters & appropriate engine oil, so as to reduce pollution & aid in a faster warmup.
50,000 mile trd off road owner. Been all over the US and on top of the tallest mountain, up the slick rocks of Moab and in cave country Kentucky. Never once let me down or even had me worried at all. AC on the hottest days, no problem, no worries, go anywhere you want.....

Owning a 1992 diesel land cruiser. Even living in negative degree weather for the first time and starting it, it started right up as usual, idle rpm took a sec to catch up but that's it. Props to Toyo-ahh for making absolute tanks 🙌
I got a 2008 Tacoma TRD sport, dude i bought it from never really drove it. only has 136k miles and i did basic work on it, rebuilt suspension for offroading, brake rotors/pads, oil change and it runs like a champ i expect it to go to 500k

Same happened to mine (same year). Mine had about 330k miles. With a newer engine with less than 150k, I should have it for another 25 years.
It’s ready for another half million miles now lol, those 3rd gens are tanks
