      Thanks, glad you liked the movie. And I agree, despite all the lost wilderness, Norway is still a beautiful country 😊

    I could happily watch your videos all day long. So well done and presented.

    Top notch filmmaking, bravo! I always feel the pull of the wildest places around myself, to look for the old trails to clear and mtb with the dogs, and where I might be able to camp, fish and canoe. It's completely essential that the scars left by man on the landscape are given enough time to heal before they're gouged out again or we find ourselves living in an extremely depressing, "used up feeling" world.

      Thanks, really appreciate the feedback! 😊🙏🏻 I guess we’ll never understand what we had until we lost it. Hopefully, we can put the brakes on here in Norway soon.

    Yaayyy, another BB video 😃
    I always smile when I see that wooden luggage crate on your bike, such a contrast to the modern materials used on a bike 🙂
    More excellent footage and narrative, your videos are so special, and that final shot was stunning 👌
    Thanks very much for that 🚲⛺❄️👍

      Thanks, great to hear! 😊 I guess that wooden crate is better suited for shopping than bikepacking, though it was nice to get my pack of my back and into the crate 😄

      It gives your bike set-up a lot of character, I like it 🙂
      Oh yes, I'd use anything not to wear a backpack whilst cycling!

    I love your channel. Probably my favourite. For a real challenge try finding a wild spot here in Denmark ;-)

      Thanks for the kind words! 😊🙏🏻 As a half Dane, I really appreciate Danish nature, though it is “langt mellem snapsene”. I had a video about Denmarks wild side in the making, but a double hard drive failure have so far put a stop to that movie. I think one might consider some of the west coast of Denmark as Denmarks wild side, though it is only a thin sliver of land 😊

    Love your content. What kind of bike do you use and what kind of front rack

    • @BackwoodsBikepacking
      @BackwoodsBikepacking  6 місяців тому

      Thanks, glad to hear you enjoy the content! 😊 The bike is a Surly Moonlander, and both the rear and front rack are som older Old Man Mountain Sherpa racks. Really light and super strong.

    Well done. How cold did it get and how much daylight did you have?

    • @BackwoodsBikepacking
      @BackwoodsBikepacking  6 місяців тому

      Thanks! 😊🙏🏻 This was late December back in 2021, so I only had about six hours of daylight. I think the temps went down to -13 degrees Celsius or so on my way back home, but it was single digits on most of the trip and pretty comfortable.

      I grew up in the redwoods of Northern California, heavily logged, but if you know where to look there are first growth Redwood Groves that were spared. They are truly Majestic and wild. Beautiful mini documentary, keep it up!

    • @BackwoodsBikepacking
      @BackwoodsBikepacking  6 місяців тому

      Ah, the redwoods, I’m so envious. The trees don’t grow to those dimensions in Norway, but they’re still a far cry from former glory. Almost everything has been logged at one point or another.
