Nice looking resort. Consider showing a brief look at the room with the pricing. And I would have also ordered the Pork Steak, but all we saw was an EMPTY plate??? Come on man! Show the food! 😆 Welcome to travel videos!
The room and pricing was in the video where I lost the audio. The money shot is coming in the next video, Wiener Schnitzel! Leaving back to the Bird Wars tomorrow, after one night in that same area of mountains but different resort.
Not many English-speaking folks out in rice country, and would be fairly selective who I would want to spend an extended amount of time with anyhow. Better for me this way.
Hey my friend…good to see you guys relaxing. And..when you showed your pink Thai I’d…I said..hmmm…and we are in the process of getting my name in the yellow book…not as smooth as with you…but we are working on it…:-)). We all know what you mean no matter how you say it…:)) 😊
Wodyetia bificata - foxtail palm 🌴 is native to Cape Melville Queensland wasn't spread to the rest of the world till the late 70s the native population almost went extinct due to black market seed collection.
If you are looking for a great day out in Pattaya I reccomend going to the Nong Nooch Gardens, beautiful gardens, fantastic car collection all undercover (vehicles are in two seperate warehouses), restaurants, elephants and so much more..................just buy your tickets at the gardens, no need to buy from tour shops
Unfortunately, we are on our last day and Sompit already left for her day of shopping alone. Maybe next trip, if we come here again. Thanks for the suggestion though.
This will really fry your noggin. Pattaya was previously called Tappaya before the US forces started going there for R&R during the Vietnam War. It was just a small fishing village back then.
I asked in Pattaya the local bar tender which was the correct pronunciation . I figured the locals would know best. It was the latter version like the other guys told you.
I thought I had it until Sompit said something about the way I was saying it and told me I said it correctly before. I'll just avoid it in my videos going forward.
Hi Kenny, In your last video You mentioned about the fish in the pot dying but the plants are ok. We had a very similar problem and may have even bought them from the same supplier. Anyway, Lamun was advised that they had chemicals from manufacture in them and the way to neutralise them is to fill them with water and banana trunk chunks (like in Loi Kratong) for about two weeks. The fish have been thriving ever since we did that. Enjoy the trip 😁
Have a great trip, I don't know what spicies of tree that is but have seen it around and asked the same thing. Similar to Jack fruit in the way that it flowers from the trunk (forgotten the botanical term for that)

Never seen Mr Don Australia before, so that might be part of it.

As if I wasn't confused enough already, LOL!

I'll try that when we go to the larger pot. Thank Daryl
We call that tree with the big nuts a cannonball tree.
Works for me!

We'll see if anyone comes up with it in the comments.
Good morning Kenny and Sompit. Hope you're enjoying Pattaya. Did you get up to the temple on the mountain overlooking Pattaya - Wat Phra Yai?
No, planned to go to the Sanctuary of True yesterday until we found out it was B500 each, plus travel. Didn't feel it would be worth that much for us.
I've had pizza in Thailand 3 or 4 times. The dough is always sweet. My wife (Thai) said it is preferred. Me personally, I don't care for it.
I will try anything once, just hasn't made the priority list yet.
Very good to see more of Som Pit - Did yall try Beefeater ?
Yes Tommy. Was very good. Thanks Again.
Yeah, Sompit is so much better looking than Kenny. 😊😁😇 I remember back when my (Filo) missus was as slender and petite as Sompit. 😒
