Outstanding Jesse! I have been hunting with Lone Wolf stands and sticks since they first came out. I never liked the way the sticks stacked out away from the stand either. I have been carrying a set of four bundled together in my hand for the past twenty plus years. I noticed that Andrae D'Acquisto has re-designed his new Lone Wolf Custom Gear so that the sticks nestle in more flat, and I was wishing that I could do that too. I am aware that Lone Wolf makes the plastic Alpha Tech Stick Quiver, but they are $40.00 and I have heard of guys breaking them in cold weather. I absolutely love your method of attaching the sticks to the stand! I think it is ingenious and I will be packing my sticks this way from now on. Thank you very much for sharing!
Glad I could help, I know there is a lot of people using the LW stand and sticks. I figured this video would help people who can’t or don’t want to purchase higher priced gear.
This is exactly what I've been looking for! I also don't like the profile when you stack all 4 sticks, so I have just been carrying them. I have been looking for a system to carry 2 on each side...and I think I just found it! Thanks!
Very nice idea. I have several of these stands and sticks. I’ve been using them for years and trying different setups for packing. This is definitely something I’m going to try, thanks for posting it! Subscribed and looking forward to more videos. Also good luck this season 👍
I'll have to give this a try. I have the quiver which is nice, but it also makes for a larger profile. I use the two stand straps to wrap around the sticks and stand to really secure things. I wear a backpack in with my stand and sticks attached to the pack.
First, thanks for making the video. I just purchased my Lone Wolf system and I am trying to figure out the most efficient way to haul it in and out of the woods. I have 2 questions for you: first, what is the strap system you are using to haul your setup? Question 2: How do you carry your backpack into the woods with you? Thanks. I look forward to hearing back from you when you get a chance.
The straps and waste belt are army surplus Molle shoulder straps and waste belt. I connect the backpack with a cheap carabiner clip to the top of the stand.

Great idea. I'll be trying that
So glad I found this video. I’ve never seen it done this way, but this is how I plan to pack my stand and sticks this season.
Glad i could help, once completed a couple times it becomes easier and easier.

Awesome video I like that setup
Awesome, Jesse! I have been trying many different ways to get my stand and sticks lower profile, but your way is my favorite so far. thanks you.

Hopefully this technique helps slim the profile of your stand and sticks. I typically connect a backpack to my stand as well.
Great idea
This is awesome! Thank you!
What “daisy chain” are you talking bat? Good idea! Thanks for passing this along!
The daisy chain is the strap on the sticks. I replaced the standard buckle strap for the light weight daisy chains.

Good idea. Looks great. What are you using for backpack straps and waist strap on your stand?
I just use military surplus Molle straps and waist belt.
Great idea!! Thanks for sharing! I am curious, what are the black round knobs on your lone wolf sticks?
They are the standard versa button.
@@jessewildman3892 The black round knobs are right next to the versa button on your sticks in your video. At time :30 on your video.
They are plastic knobs with bungee straps that hold the daisy chains wrapped up
👍👍
2 bunges way easier!
do the straps of the ruck harness dangle from the bottom when its hung? i feel like that would get you busted more times than not.
I haven’t had any issue with this but if you had to you could use a gear tie to hook them to the platform.
What shoulder strap/waist band is that?
What climbing harness/lineman belt do you use to climb? Thanks
It’s surplus military shoulder straps and hip belt.
what jacket/shirt is that you have on? thanks
I believe it’s the Kuhl Thor wool sweater
Do you like this way better then the stick quiver
Never used the stick quiver didn’t like how far the sticks stuck out compared to the stand
