I think it is possible. If 6-player Catan becomes big, then to gain a competitive edge, you'll have to to be in the top% of the field. I think it's possible to train your brain in a way to memorize hand-tracking to perfection.
@shiva kumar shivashankar I have a video about hand-tracking on Patreon. If I would share my tips in here it would decrease the value of my Patreon package. Here is the link if you're interested: www.patreon.com/posts/7-tips-for-hand-32945365 🙂
I like the tip about how if you get multiple people to accept a trade offer, ask for two cards and see if anyone will take it to be smart with trading.
Yep, exactly! Supply and demand go up equally, but with the extra difficulties of hand-tracking, it's more difficult to get a good understanding of your alternative options, so players are more likely to say "yes".
Thanks for these tips. At the next game I'll try to trade more than usual. And now I know what to give for my father's birthday, these organizers are awesome :D 7:12
This is an interesting collection of tips and strategies. They make great sense overall. Also, this looks like a fun crowd of great players like yourself. :)

Our sponsor was playing as Red btw.
I got my organizers yesterday. Great stuff. Love it.
Very nice video. Agree that hand tracking is nearly impossible for most people. Probably best to scroll through the recent turns on the game log
absolutely, IRL without the game log it is already hard enough with 4 people IMO, RIP when you are playing with 6 😅

@@Treeckosaurus To that effect, how do you do hand tracking in the regular game? Mnemonics? This maybe a good video :)
@@shivakumarshivashankar4994 best way, be the bank. Then you know who has which cards. It doesn't work at online games unfortunately.

More of this please. I mostly play 5-6 player and it’s better to get these tips than to convert 4 player tips to 6
Depends on how the video performs, I'm glad you like it!
@@Treeckosaurus I Agree completely , I'm from Israel and almost everyone plays mostly 5-6 players games

something which happens (definitely less of course) in regular base game! great tip for sure! 😊
Awesome, I'm glad it is helpful :)
The more players the more trading you get...2 player game, lucky to get one trade in a game, but with 6 you can get tons of trades. Nice video

Thanks, good overview!
Great tips!
... except the part about sheep bring worthless ☹😠
Hahaha, you should try Seafarers. I think Wood/Sheep are the best resources there!

Awesome!
Looks like a fun game mode. Thanks for the tips!
agree definitely worth to be played at least once! 🙂
For sure! Glad you enjoyed :)
excuse my ignorance, but why would sheep be worthless? is it because all other resources are available generally on a bigger board?
I wouldn't say "worthless" but "worth less [than normal]". When did I say it's worthless in the video?

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed! Strong player-field indeed (multiple championships/finals have been won by these six players)
How about 6 players with cities and knights?
Certainly interesting to play! I don't think I'll make a video about it though
Losing with a mono... I hate that feeling :/
Salt in the wounds :/
I still feel hybrid ows is better
Yeah, perhaps. It's also board dependent.
I have 10 sheep
Do you want wood for your sheep? ;-)
