I also use mobile racks, I’m in the process of going exclusively to them. I set mine on 2 pallets while I’m filling them, it’s much easier on your back. My back started hurting just watching you fill yours lol.
That's a great idea! I have thought about setting them on 4 or 5 pallets but then I worry about the tractor not being able to lift them down. I suppose one pallet is better than none. I am also doing things more now to protect my back. I'm recording a new project right now that will help save my back when doing firewood.
Hey I enjoy your content I just started expanding my business I have a partner now we are both disabled vets and started it to heal our minds and bodies. We make scented starters that we have in 10 stores so far I have a stand and we deliver and we donate to the DAV so my goal is to finish my kiln so I have seasoned wood year round I am old and retired and enjoy the way I feel after working and doing what I can Thanks for the space to vent Good Luck in 24
I use pallets to build racks. They suck. They break all the time. I have plans to build something better but haven’t done it yet. Lol. I produce and sell about 150 full cord per year. I don’t know why I just now stumbled onto your channel. Check out ours we do stuff the “right” way. Lol
@@OutdoorsEngineer we are in interior Alaska. Enjoy watching all these videos of your area. Looking forward to retirement and getting somewhere between WI and TN.

hi there good splitting . john
Hey, thanks!
Nice simple way to do it. Just upgrading my firewood process and might make a few of those.
They aren't that bad. I use one almost daily for filling the roadside stand.
Big question? Did your dogs ever find the rodent they were looking for? Great video!
Ha! I'm glad you caught it! They did not, although they kept trying.

Awesome! Is that your full time gig?
@@OutdoorsEngineer no, we cut a lot of grass in summer. And I turn wrenches and weld for money too.
Nice looking area. What part of the country are you in?
It's great! We are in Northern Wisconsin. We've had a mild winter so far though. Typically much more snow. Thanks for being here! Where are you from?
