It will never be rotten by dipping on the water within 3 day's, or else there are so many different types of bamboos so pick the right one, dipping on the water for 2 or 3 days mean, we are fermenting bamboo shoot before we dry on the sun to make dry bamboo shoots. Thank you.

First of all thank you so much for the interest, bamboo shoot can be stored 8 - 10 months approximately if u keep in air tight container, btw you will notice color changing within 2 to 3 months from brownish to dark red color but it's OK. If any more doubt please ask freely once again thank you 🙏

It depends on the climate here it 28 - 34 degree Celsius and it takes 2 to 3 day's

Why the bambooshoot is dipped with water?Is it necessary?

Actually dipping in the water gives the bamboo shoot ferment and reduced the soreness, and within 2 - 3 days the water will become sore and it will use as bamboo shoot juice.
Note : there are 3 different process of making dry bamboo shoots and, this is one of the 3 process thank you. 🙏

The main problem out here is that we get bamboo shoots during rainy season and is difficult to dry them.
