Damn, I need to handle my paradidles better at that speed first. I'm stuck at 82 BPM.

Try double speed then go back to the 82. I honestly have no idea if it’ll work, but it’s a trick I use when playing fast downstroke riffs on guitar. It’s almost perspective based training as there’s always a faster tempo lol good luck man! 💯💯

Try 4 notes on each hand then 8 then 12. It is boring but you will see results in a week. Do while watching TV 30 minutes a day.

OMG that's what it's called! I used to go to sleep listening to my dad's drills at night. Mist common warm up was the paradiddle. Though his tempo would settle a bit faster than the fastest in this video. He'd go faster sometimes, and it was hard to differentiate each sound. He played with the classical jazz hold (or whatever it's called). He was an accomplished jazz drummer for over 50 years.
I attribute ear to listening to him practice every day and night.

The best part about sound, is that the closer the pulses are, the more it turns into a note to our ears. The closer the pulses are, the higher the pitch. If you could strike a drum 200 times a second, you would interpret that as a single note.

I am seeing a huge I N crease in speed I am right around 200 bpm before it starts to fall apart I can't seem to get the roll going if you know what I mean. Same with my double strokes. I know time patience and practice are key. But this is an amazing exercise I will definitely try.
