20-25 years ago we rented a boat and wet suits and swam with the Manatees. There was 10 or so boats in the water. But when you dove down the entire area was absolutely packed with fish. Brant your video just reminded me of that epic day, with the amount of fish at the end of the pier. Thanks for sharing!!
That's some amazing biodiversity, there. Beautiful panorama of all the fish species doing their thing. The tiger sharks were quite impressive, too, cruising along.
Absolutely love these go-pro drops. Please do more of them in new and interesting spots. i do love all you do. All so could you take a small boat off the side of the Pier if it's crowed and still get fish .
The Go Pro videos are always one of my favorites. But please continue to give more narration, such as "why are there so many baitfish there", "what do the baitfish eat?", "what do Tiger sharks eat", "are there any bull sharks around", and please tell us the estimated water depth at each drop location. You did a couple of videos where you attached shrimp baited hooks and the Go Pro and threw it from the shore. Those were also very, very interesting. I also love when you drop the Go Pro in the freshwater fishing locations. I was amazed that there were alligators in almost every location. Please keep on making these videos. Thank you!
Good idea! With the pole you could rotate and have better control of the camera. The string is not nearly as stable. But! The string prevents the shakes of the holder from being transferred to the camera. Just my opinion.
11:06 Doctorfish! Always cool to see reef fish in our area! There's butterflyfish sometimes over at Perdido pass, but you have to go deep, which is so sketch. Also not having to deal with the crowd at St. Andrews state park in Panama Bch....
It’s amazing there not more people bitten by sharks that swim near piers. I go to Navarre beach pier a lot and always see sharks coming in close to people swimming. Beautiful video Brant
Really enjoy these…rod and reel and GoPro…video segments. Was just astonished at the size of that Tiger shark. Just pass the breakers on the beach. Predators are a sign of a healthy ecosystem…
So when fishing off a pier it seemed like shallow presentation or else you’ll run into bait fish or is that why you cast as far away from the pier as you can.
There's almost always a tiger shark or two at the pier. One is about 12ft or so. I've been swimming near the pier since 1982 and Bull sharks are more of a concern for me than tigers
When spear fishing both coasts and the Keys I can't think of a single time of not dealing with sharks when the fishing is on. Very cool filming to show the Life beneath.
At 8:50-9:00, those are file fish investigating the camera. Also, that tiger shark has been hanging around there for years. If you go late at night, you’ll see him hanging around the middle section.
I just found your channel today and was so blessed. I can't go fishing anymore but watching your channel was like being there. Thank you for an awesome viewing. 😊😊 John 14:6 Jesus said unto him, " I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." Have a Blessed day 😊 Please pray for America and Israel 🇮🇱 🇺🇸 🙏🏼
An extendable pole would be cool so you could aim the camera better. Or maybe it's time for an underwater drone with a tether. People seem to like these videos so it could be worth getting a good way to film underwater.
I fear Tiger sharks more than any other shark. I got bit on my upper leg when I was a kid. I was boogie boarding. I was able to catch the wave right away. Luckily I had on a thick wetsuit. I had to get lots of stitches. They say it was a young Tiger shark. The pain was from it biting down. The force is immense. Like a hydraulic clamp squeezing you. Feels like your leg is going to just pop like a pimple.
I said the names of most of the bigger fish. LY, pinfish, tiger sharks, cobia, sheepshead, remora, and spade fish were all mentioned. Most of the rest were baitfish. I’ll try and mention them all next time.
No disrespect here. I watch your video's and like your video's. I'm subscribed and hit like on almost every one. But sometimes I get a Mr Roger's vibe about you sometimes. And that's not a bad thing but it makes me laugh. 😂
This was a really cool video and I appreciate it, but like you said at the end you would like to know what we would like to see. That being said, I can honestly tell you that I did not watch the two hour long video that you had out last. Those are just a little bit too long for me and I want to be able to totally commit to something that I really want to learn about. I know you can say, why not just watch a little bit at a time. That is true, but I like to be able to see what's going on about something, and know what's going to happen then and there. I don't want to have to go back and rewind, that kind of thing, you understand, hopefully. The second last one I really appreciated, I even had some well educated questions for you. You did not answer mine though. That's okay I think someone else answered it or part of it anyway. But those are the kinds of videos that I like the most. In the past it was all catch clean and cook. That's all I ever wanted to see, but I think I'm going abroad here and want something different, but I think it is the not ever hearing of something before, or it's just stuff that's not spoken about much so I don't remember it as well. Geez that was a mouthful, I hope you understood it!😂 Anyway I was just trying to give you a little bit more than just my two cents.😂 Please keep doing what you're doing and never stop creating content brant. You've found your calling! God bless!
I agree with one of the other comments, there was NOTHING CRAZY in this video! I hate when people put in their titles something that’s not true. This was just a bunch of fish swimming around and a couple of sharks! NOTHING CRAZY!!!
I will never get tired of these videos! It gives me a new perspective of marine life around the pier.
Absolutely love these gopro drops. Please do more of them in new and interesting spots.

These pier drops are awesome and a lot of times very relaxing to just play on the tv as a screen saver.
I just stumbled upon your channel. I loved it! It’s so peaceful!❤❤❤
Totally amazing the amount of different bait schools. Surprised the Kings aren't there having a feast. Great video ... thanks..
Anothe Undersea adventure of Brant Jacque Cousteau! I enjoy these type of underwater videos. Thanks Brant!
Did anyone else see what looked to be the back end of a sea turtle at around 2:22?
yup!
Yes
A tiger sharks favourite dish!
Wow !!! Fantastic what marine life you have their a , great video again Brant 😊😊👍🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟
That video was really awesome! Really enjoyed it!

Was the something crazy the amount of tiger sharks ? Or did i miss something?
That's what I was wondering lol
I guess I missed it what ever he was talking about
It's so you can click on his channel...that's the purpose of the titles and how their written...good video regardless...
I thought it was the crazy amount of bait fish and bait balls.
@michaelbrown2678 that's what I was thinking also.
You, my friend have the best site on UA-cam. Good stuff brother. Makes me want to grab a few Gotcha plugs and hit the pier!!!
Absolutely love these go-pro drops. Please do more of them in new and interesting spots. i do love all you do. All so could you take a small boat off the side of the Pier if it's crowed and still get fish .

You need a long collapsible pole then you can do a very slow 360 and see everything. Thanks for sharing this video
Good idea! With the pole you could rotate and have better control of the camera. The string is not nearly as stable. But! The string prevents the shakes of the holder from being transferred to the camera. Just my opinion.
The pier is 16 feet off the water plus the water depth. Good luck finding a 30 foot collapsible pole.
11:06 Doctorfish! Always cool to see reef fish in our area! There's butterflyfish sometimes over at Perdido pass, but you have to go deep, which is so sketch. Also not having to deal with the crowd at St. Andrews state park in Panama Bch....
Thanks for sharing always enjoy watching the fish and those spade fish are good eating 👍
What amazing footage Brant. Great job bud. 👊🏼
So are you connected to the gopro live or just see what was about after you download the footage from it?
It’s amazing there not more people bitten by sharks that swim near piers. I go to Navarre beach pier a lot and always see sharks coming in close to people swimming. Beautiful video Brant
Sharks dont like the taste of human
Just beautiful to see. Thank you
Really enjoy these…rod and reel and GoPro…video segments. Was just astonished at the size of that Tiger shark. Just pass the breakers on the beach. Predators are a sign of a healthy ecosystem…
Which go pro did you use and did you use a certain test line so it was strong
That video was really awesome! Really enjoyed it! 2:39
Yah, love the GoPros. Amazing what you find so close to shore.
The go pro drops are my favorite vids! Keep going!
Brandt, dunkin' donuts is great but dunkin' GoPros is awesome!😎
Awsome video...is this pier at destin?
So when fishing off a pier it seemed like shallow presentation or else you’ll run into bait fish or is that why you cast as far away from the pier as you can.
Forgive me if you have answered this in other videos, but how do you have your Go-Pro rigged?
Love the GoPro vids. Question are those tiger shark residents? Are the swimmers in the area aware?
There's almost always a tiger shark or two at the pier. One is about 12ft or so. I've been swimming near the pier since 1982 and Bull sharks are more of a concern for me than tigers
Awesome video have you done gulf state pier yet?
The GoPro camera drop would have been more interesting if you were naming all the species
Brant, Are the tigers as thick in areas like bulls down in south Florida?
Bulls are thick here too, but blacktips and spinners are the worst.
Great footage! We haven't done this in awhile. Time to get back to Sebastian inlet...
When spear fishing both coasts and the Keys I can't think of a single time of not dealing with sharks when the fishing is on.
Very cool filming to show the Life beneath.
Great show!!

Always enjoy the gopro drop videos. Dont think I have seen a jetti gopro drop video, and that would be cool to see. Keep up the good work.
Tiger sharks, bullsharks and great whites. The panhandle is getting spicy
Was just commenting on a Destin FB page for people to look you up specifically from your old dock GoPro drop with all the Tiger sharks
What are they moving to? :) I can't hear any music! :0
Love everything you do thanks so much
These are my favorite videos !

Love these GoPro drops!
Do you ever fish Anna Maria island?
The sound in this video is killlllllling me. My GoPro never sounds like that underwater?

perfect amount of narration
Wow this is amazing 👏 ❤.
New subscriber. Loved this video. ❤
Add Beethoven's 9th and its therapy. keep it up
Love the go pro under water videos please keep doing them
Wow! Beautiful video, thank you!
What makes that grinding popping sound when the gopro gets close to the bottom?
Those are fish sounds.
@@stanleymerritt2893 Any particular species to blame or is that just simply the usual cacophony of creature sounds?
An extendable pole would be cool so you could aim the camera better. Or maybe it's time for an underwater drone with a tether. People seem to like these videos so it could be worth getting a good way to film underwater.
Good bedtime reel….nice.
So pretty there!
fantastic stuff 👍
That sizzling sound- were you cooking fish when you made this vid?
I would love to see more videos. can you attach one so i can use it as a screen saver.
These are great keep it up.
Tigers love the Emerald Coast
Enjoy the fishing much more.
Beautiful video!

This video is better then visiting an aquarium!
Someone get this guy a 360 camera...
I love the GoPro videos but I always look forward to you telling us the names of fish, so I can learn all them. Kinda a bummer you didn’t talk.
I said the names of most of the bigger fish. LY, pinfish, tiger sharks, cobia, sheepshead, remora, and spade fish were all mentioned. Most of the rest were baitfish. I’ll try and mention them all next time.
Interesting! Would you take the time to point out more about the species of fish you are recording please?
No disrespect here. I watch your video's and like your video's. I'm subscribed and hit like on almost every one. But sometimes I get a Mr Roger's vibe about you sometimes. And that's not a bad thing but it makes me laugh. 😂
Tiger sharks, the carp of the oceans😅
I see all those pin fish and i 👀 see BAIT!!
sounds like any second I'm going to smell bacon
That's a lot of fish!
Hey, why not do a voice over as you show the under pier video to point out all of the fish types captured? Thanks
Tiger sharks are viscous!
Didn't I see an arm of a turtle early on.. to the right of the screen?

Funny story, I Got to work this morning and realized I forgot to wipe lol
Bravo!
It’s crazy how bad the shark activity has been in the panhandle, multiple people have been attacked just this past month.
Tiger sharks? F that lmao
Kept waiting for something big to come grab a mouthful of those bait fish.
WOW!!!
Yep… no more swimming for me.
Why under water I hear a crackeling sound even when diving
please tell us the kind of fish we are looking at
Those cobia look delicious!
I agree with one of the other comments, there was NOTHING CRAZY in this video! I hate when people put in their titles something that’s not true. This was just a bunch of fish swimming around and a couple of sharks! NOTHING CRAZY!!!
And the ones that say wait for it but the video ends and you’re still waiting.
Can you shark fish off the pier there
No
