I love this game so much I stopped playing so I don’t finish it .
Need some tips I got two LPs of it
Still finding out new stuff after 20 years. I thought the crissagrim was the best sword but I think this is it.
Criss is far stronger due to being one-handed.
@@CJSoSuave That statement makes no sense, Just because a sword is one handed does not mean its better.
Also, since yasutsuna is 2handed you don't need to grind for 2 to truly slice anything to bits.(aka.Mashing the 2 "attack" buttons)
And its way stronger stats wise.(vardas make It hard to compare,but i already did that and yes crissaegrim's attack Power is kinda low compared to most secret/endgame weapons.)

This one and the rune sword were my favorite.
I recall Muramasa performing similarly when it is powered with lots of Blood. Cool vid.
Я относительно недавно впервые прошёл эту игру, всего то 4 года назад... Но с того момента я игру проходил, удалял, устанавливал и снова, снова... Вобщем обшарил я эту игру вдоль и поперёк и знаю казалось бы обо всех нужных деталях, которые способны сломать баланс игры в самом начале... Да-да, я про тот лифт и про basilard. Ну а дальше... Я смотрел все ваши видео, и благодаря вам нашёл всё, что мне нужно было для счастья. И вот сейчас на моём сохранении минуло 12 часов игры и у меня почти пройденный перевёрнутый замок... Почти лишь потому что я вместо того чтобы идти вперёд выбивал из нужных врагов всякие ништяки. Crissaegrim мне выпал чуть ли не сразу, как я начал фармить, Muramasa выпала из пугала совершенно случайно (и я принял сперва её за Red Rust), затем пантеры, из которых мне выпала Masamune, ну и вот я здесь, фармил где то полчаса, а то и больше, бил этих оборотней, уже хотел бросить эту затею, ведь мне либо ничего не падало, либо падали кастеты (их у меня по итогу штук 10 скопилось, если не больше, было бы их и ещё больше, но их я уже не подбирал), но в последний момент и это оружие мне выпало. Выбью себе God's Garb если не ошибаюсь, и всё, остаётся только обследовать оставшиеся уголки замка и игра снова пройдена... Но я не буду торопится, ведь кто знает... Может я на какое то время останусь "жить" в этой игре?

Never even seen that sword… I usually go with the muramasa, but this one looks like it’s actually better. Well… sorta… if I spend a few hours with my turbo on, my muramasa is insanity (I lvl up my familiars and open then clock tower before trying this or they get locked)

Why do we even farm for Crissaegrim, when this one does more damage ?!!
It's even just randomly appears when we didn't farm it..

ah yes, the eternal discourse about this weapon and Crissaegrim. I preffer this one, tbh, too bad it´s locked behind clear mode.
The Crissaegrim is about the same. But I'm guessing this is the Saturn version, so it's probably way different for the PS version
I remember the sword on the PS version and I remember it quite differently. It had a lighter animation than they Crissaegrim like 3 or 4 light slashes vs Crissaegrim's 7 slashes and did way less damage. Also it was slower in strike because it was a 2H. Maybe it was something switched after the PS version.

Yasutsuna is better than using Crissaegrim's in both hands and pressing both attack buttons at the same time?

@@3dhYT I just found on the google that Muramasa maxed level is far away the best weapon in the game... I have played this game so much on my childhood and never realized that you can level up that sword... I used to use dual crissaegrim as the best weapon...
The best weapon is maxed out muramasa it took hella time to grind, but it dealt 999 dmg twice if attack huge target and dealt 2kdmg when critical hits
And you must be lv99 whwn this weapon got maxed stats with 99luk so you almost got critical hits with each attack
Second best weapon is yasutsuna katana you got invincibility when rapid smashing this weapon
The third goes to alucard shield combo
No room for the fourth, sorry
i wonder if its possible to get lucky on the boss fight and have the sword drop

@@3dhYT yeah i think there is a mechanic that stops it from dropping until you get to the inverted castle.
@@angelagonzalez8250 Nope, the colosseum one is actually a different werewolf than the one in the inverted colosseum. You can see it in the enemy data when at the library, there are 2 slots with werewolf on them
The blue werewolf was the boss you've seen in colleseum and the green werewolf you see here was the regular enemy and it drops iron fist and yasutuna its in reversed colleseum

@@3dhYT good to know, 2021 and this game still has a lot to show, lately I've been stuck with Portait Of Ruin, a very well game if you ask me, probably the best DS Castlevania and similar to symphony of the night in some things, and others improved, however both games are amazing
@@diegorgzm I haven't played this game. But I finished two more Castlevania games on GBA. Castlevania: Circle of the Moon and Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow. It was quite fun to play.
@@3dhYT You need to get your hands on Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance for GBA. It's basically a Belmont-oriented revamp of Symphony of the Night.
Nope, definitely not. It's not as good as the crissaegrim at all. While similar, the Yasutsuna lacks in range, and yes, while the animations does look like it has a big hitbox it deceives the player and you would actually need to be closer to them.
