    Not sure which tip is more lifesaver: the scroll tutorial or the boolean fix. Just awesome. Thank you very much!

    Slash! I've built so many cross section profiles to fix the problems that slash takes care of in real-time. More cross-section profile structures means more wrinkles to iron out, too. Thanks for the tip PJ!

    I don't understand what I did wrong, I repeated everything shown in the video, but in this segment (9:58) I get a non-3D plane that completely repeats the lines. It looks more like crumpled toilet paper. And apparently the versions of the programs are different, because I do not have such a settings menu, nor the ability to dot them

    • @adoocree
      @adoocree 2 місяці тому

      It's probably direction issue. That happens sometimes when you select curves in wrong order. You could check directions in tab Analyze

    Great video ! Do you think you could mirror them without capping and boolean them together ? By doing this, you don't need to move them up and down for boolean purpose.

    These scrolls had been giving me problems forEVER! Add slash and some of the other tips are life changing! Thank you as always Ms. Chen! Your videos really help me, you fill in the gaps with those great tips to make good design, GREAT! I taught myself CAD (Matrix). You have given me the confidence to try native Rhino. I think I will be purchasing Rhino 6 this week👍🏻 (I want to be more mobile, Matrix requires internet access).
    What do you think of Rhino on a Mac? Any experience?

    • @PJChenJewelryDesign
      @PJChenJewelryDesign  5 років тому +1

      Love to help Jayne. If you have Matrix, it is a Rhino plug-in. you can use the same commands on the Matrix. However, I didn't know it has to be use while you are online. Many of my college student use Mac for Rhino. The difference is the mouse. mac only has one button instead of 3. So you many have some additional click if you use Mac. The interface is a little difference but the way of using command is the same. Some students told me once you get use to it. it will be fine. I am more comfortable with PC interface tho.

      @@PJChenJewelryDesign Thank you for your reply. I have downloaded the plugin (now became Vectorize) because "Unfortunately for all of us, Gérard passed away unexpectedly in the spring of 2020. Because of this untimely passing, he was never able to port his popular plug-in to Rhino 7 and beyond." from Food4Rhino

      I am not sure Rhino will be the best software for your model need. but you can try following step. 1 build your animal shape first. 2. turn in mesh (use less polygon), 3 extract wireframe 4. pipe
