How I afford to travel

  • While travelling around southern Patagonia, I explain how I was able to quit my job and go travelling full time. Or rather, how I wasn't.
There isn't a "one size fits all" method to be able to live this way, but here is how I did it.
A dream written down with a date becomes a goal. A goal broken down with steps becomes a plan. A plan backed by action becomes reality.

This was very informative and the editing was spot on. I could come on as a guest and explain how we can travel and have kids sometime. Keep em rolling...

...Hi boss girl;🙂 a great video, and it is a pleasure to see a" intelligent woman" who does something meaningful with her life, besides breeding children, as I am surrounded by many females who do nothing more but reproduce many little "dimwitted' children by more than one father. I hope you will continue to make these wonderful videos for us to view.
...I see you have worked very hard all your life, and have earned all your money respectfully, so just ignore any people who make ignorant remarks, and assume that you are "wealthy' because they believe that you have some imaginary "white privilege", when all you want to do is enjoy life, you deserve it.
...I do not blame you for not wanting to work for the "zog U.S.A.", and I sincerely hope that " juwe tube' pays for your videos.
...'Argentina' is a beautiful country, very clean, unlike the U.S.A. ,and other 3rd world nations, and I will assume that is because of a low population, that has a strong European heritage.
..If I could give you some advise, please sell ,or get rid of your 'time share", as they are a scam ,and you will have extra money to save, before the global economy goes under. Thank you for the great videos.🙂

Thanks for reminding me that i'm on the right path. 😉 I have spent the last years paying out all my debts, and now i have a lot of money to save on a normal 40-50k a year sallary. I recon i'll start traveling in about a year from now. 😊 It is possible people. But you have to really comit to it.
I rent a cheap apartment, and i drive a small hatchback that hardly uses fuel. That covers what i need. 😉 An example of the mindset you need to save up.
And, You have reached a benchmark on a thousand subs. 😉 Don't give up on that either. You just got recomended to me, so the algorithim is on it. 😉

I love the idea of traveling but then I feel like I'd be taking my retirement early. No work now just means I'll pay for it later in life. How are able to afford it in terms of retirement?

I don't know! Okay, well I do have money in retirement accounts from working for the government for a few years. Not enough to retire. I also have a few investment accounts that are growing in the background. I personally use Acorns. It is super easy, set it up and forget it. I do worry that I will be a poor old lady, but I intend to keep my living expenses low so I wont need much.

I'm curious if there's anything specific that made you not want to be a park ranger anymore.

Really I am just a bit tired of the government work. That and I want to be an international sailor! I enjoyed being a ranger but I think I need something less... idk... the military and law enforcement are both kind of stressful. I need to chill. I'd be a ranger if I didn't have to do the cop stuff.
