Ahh! Ok, yea I just try to go for categories I know work or have sold before. In the beginning I spent a lot more time in each store scanning and learning.

For anyone wondering if you should buy Nikki's Ungating Guides... most definitely! We bought the bundle of both guides. I've seen other guides cost twice as much but only covering one category. Are you purchasing one item at a time or several of the same items ? ( ex: 1 soap or like 12 soaps) loll hopefully it’s understandable!
@@mahagonnymonai4170 best way to do it is to get multiple of the same item if they are available of course and they also have a low selling rank. ex. 1 of item for 5 profit vs 10 items x 5 profit per item=50 profit

Nice video :-) I use to do this, it was a lot of work but fun & super exhausting at times. Nowadays I just deal with 1 distributor & FBA everything.
I’m in the process of getting approved for Amazon and have a few concerns/questions that I couldn’t find info anywhere. This video was extremely informative and helpful.

@@sosod4707 They have two methods, one is if you are selling as a individual which shouldn’t be hard to set up an account. Second method is for legitimate Business, this route you need all the documentation that proves your a legitimate business in your state and go through a process. Didn’t take me very long, if you’re interested in doing this type of work you need to understand that it’s definitely not easy for beginners and getting ungated is easy/hard. Easy if you have distributors(just need to show a invoice with 10+ items in category) hard if you’re solo with no distributors. Not impossible but a lot of leg work. Just like with everything the leg work and your dedication will make it succeed or fail.

Im confused on how this whole business model works! I am a beginner reseller. However I see all these gurus posting their lavish lifestyles.Not pay for any course. Just learn and educate off someone who does it. I like your channel nikki this is the first video iv'e watched. Although I really wanna put my head down and apply myself. Try selling squishmallows easy profit , there rarely returned, many times you can make 15 to 30 bucks on each one and if they become rare they sell for $100 plus

Nikki, when you were at TJMaxx, what do you do with the price stickers ? Do you slap something on there to cover it? Or do you attempt to peel it off without damaging the packaging?
I take off all price stickers. It's pretty easy with a scotty peeler, hair dryer and goo gone.
Groceries at Ollies beware of expiration dates dates usually are near expiration date.
Im trying to make 2 shipments per week. My wife was working and I told her to quit and Now she is helping me Im so excited for the help of my wife. I also manufacture clothes and I make patterns, I cut the fabric and I sew the products and I list them and I ship them is a lot of work.
I think in the future you need to manufacture something because everybody is going to do RA and no products for nobody.

Just a general question as I have been looking into retail arbitrage for a while. How long do these items usually take to sell in general? Months ? Weeks?
Depends on item. Some of my items sell before they even reach the warehouse. And some stay for 3 to 4 months.
How much of your profit do you have to use to buy more items to sell the next week?
When you show your profits does that number reflect a deduction for your shipping supplies (boxes, tape, freight) to get items to Amazon?

Michael Hughes thank you! On this one I am showing the numbers after freight. I don’t have boxes and tape in there but it’s likely $10 more for that. I get my boxes from Walmart for $1.44 for the big boxes. I’ve no idea how much tape is but I buy 6-10 rolls maybe every 3-4 months.
Also just because it doesn't have a rank doesn't mean it doesn't sell. It just means that it sells at a slow rate. I have products that I sell with no rank and where there are 2 or 3 sellers with high profits and I sell one or two a month. Now if there is 20 sellers I would not do it, but if the sellers none or just a few I take the chance. If you only can get one or two they will sell. And in toys especially.

When you come back with everything you bought after a day of sourcing and you’re ready to ship them to Amazon, how does that process work? Is the shipping already factored in to your profit and they give you shipping labrels or do you have to pay out of pocket to ship the items to Amazon for them to sell?

Hi Nikki, I'm interested in getting into doing this, but I would love to see how much profit you actually make after you factor in shipping. How do you factor it in? Do you send things in in bulk? Would love a video explaining this process.
Taylor, I do this also. As a rule after all is said and done around 20-30 percent some items 50 percent but on average the 20 -30 is a good percent range is a good number.
Can you sell used and new? Also do you have a video to show you you ship these other products?

Hey! I very rarely return them after they've been sent to Amazon, I don't think I've done this in two years. It was a toy that didn't sell and I returned to Target. When I return them, it's when I get it home and realize it wasn't great buy and return a few days later to the store.

No, you don't need to show your receipts. Only when you want to be approved to sell in a brand or category that you are restricted in do you need to show an invoice.

you dont have to spend $200 a shopping trip. I do need to plan on 24 or 25 a month just to sell on amazon and the rest if just picking good products and that is what I am not good at lol

Hi George, with FBA you ship everything in one shipment. When you do FBM you ship each individual order to the customer.
So where it says FBA fee that includes the shipping because of the weight, is that why it says $0.00 on top of your profit?
How about traveling?
So once u buy the item you just ship it off the Amazon or you have to wait till it sells then you send it to the person who bought it?

Hi Niki, so you added the items to sell on amazon before shipping them to amazon? How would prime members get the product on time?
lisa paul hey Lisa! The items I fulfill myself aren’t FBA or Prime. It doesn’t say “prime” when the customer orders it. There is a prime program for FBM sellers who are eligible but I think they’re closed at new members at the moment.

I personally sell a lot of beauty however it's been slower now and most of my inventory is toys

The scanning app I use on my phone is the amazon seller app. Revseller is the little green box that is added to all amazon pages both do the same thing really
