very helpful , I am doing Amazon FBA UK and sourcing from China, I think the key thing of doing FBA is to find professional suppliers and freight forwarder to handle your first leg for your Amazon FBA, like IRFREIGHT, highly recommended.

My seller account was approved yesterday and I immedietly grabbed your ungating guides, but while that's happening, I really want to get out there and learn bit, so this was super helpful! I wrote down everything from the list you read off and took a pic of it to have in my phone for when I'm feeling defeated in the store 😂
I see a lot of UA-camrs talking about guides and such in the same way and of course the guides are not free so it makes me think that they don't really do much retail arbitrage and just make proof of people's hopes and dreams

Is the guide a gaurentee to getting ungated?
Hi Nikki. I would love a video for a Quick Start New Amz seller demonstrating visually the steps to inputting the items into Amz and getting the items ready for shipment. I already know what to look for as a newbie. Also, I believe you can sell up to 40 items before a monthly seller cost of $39.99, right? My main hesitation to starting is getting the items ready for Amz correctly as stated above. I have seen some of your videos like this, but would love a step by step quick start for Q4.

I cannot believe how full the wal-mart clearance aisles are in your videos. My local ones are always, always, always near empty.
Not all of them are great and they go through cycles with the seasonal store resets when they need to move and clear stuff for the new items

You should do a video on your worst buys or ones that cost you money in storage fees by not selling

I just bought a ton of fishing gear from Walmart I plan to resell next year when things are in season.... worst case scenario is I just get to use it myself haha but getting $8 lures for $0.55 is a win either way. I'm in the process of setting up my store but also looking at more in season things to sell
Saw a few videos of people selling dollar store books on Amazon thought that was a great idea
But was worried about them sitting for a long time getting warehouse fees
So then I thought I could just list the book or any item really on ebay and then when they sold I could go get the book and ship it since I live walking distance away from a dollar tree and a Walmart
Its kinda like drop shipping I guess but since I never buy the book or item til its sold its no worry about losing my initial investment or storage costs since dollar tree is holding it for me
And if theyre out of stock when i get there I could just say it sold somewhere else lol
Hi Nikki, Thanks for taking the effort to make all the videos. You inspire! Can you make a video on how exactly the ungated process works..like a demo. I hear all the videos talking about it but no video where they physically show the exact steps and what receipt/invoice should look like and what not is involved in the process. A visual is always more helpful..especially brand new sellers like me..

ONE SILLY QUESTIONS: besides amz central seller what will be a good softwares to go to store to scan and how you can calculate your estimate profit on that item ?

Hey Nikki, I went scanning in Toys last evening at Target. Literally everything I scanned was selling within pennies of what they are listed for on Amazon. Walmart is like that too. Do you think these stores may be pricing their products the same as Amazon prices? I think Target may not like Amazon sellers for some reason. You would think that a sale is a sale, right? Hey! No, I have never heard that. There are some rules around Toys and FBM but FBA you can start and sell during Q4 as far as I am aware.
What is ungated? I don't understand what you're talking about until I know what this means
Ungated means unrestricted. So if you begin, you scan an item and you are gated, you are restricted from selling those items.
Okay I’m just started out but this may be a dumb question. So I’ll go to stores and scan scan , but when do I buy those products ? When someone wants to purchase on amazon? Or when I’m scanning the items ?

Great videos! I am just starting out..when you ship the products to Amazon..can you ship it in one big box(with several items in it all packaged with labels) or does each item
Need to be shipped separately?
Yesss but then no. It just depends where they have you ship it cause sometimes you have to ship to different Amazon locations. But if all different products are going to same Amazon warehouse then yes different items can go in box

Jonathan Villarreal congrats on getting started! nope! The ungating guides are one time purchase and they include the Facebook group for that guide (two different groups for the two guides). If funds are tight I’d recommend the topical and grocery one to start! You don’t have to have ever sold anything at all and you can still get ungated.
Thank you so much, I was think about getting the bundle for toys and grocery. But I saw that it said I need a reseller or business license for toys. Is that hard to get?
I am a couponer and want to resell my items such as laundry detergent, toothpaste, body wash, lotion, tampons, pads, etc... with the request I put it for the approval to sell it on Amazon and amazon wants an invoice. I was thinking they meant a receipt. This is what Amazon is asking me this: "provide an invoice reflecting the itemized list of goods purchased and the terms of sale."
So if I'm buying these items from supermarkets & grocery stores... how do I get an invoice from stores like that?
Or is an invoice some I am going to type up. Only proof I have for purchase are receipts.

Just started about a month ago. Went to target and khols today and anything I found that was already on amazon was restricted. Most items werent found. Gues I should use visual search instead of just barcode. Thanks for the info.

just purchased the get-ungated guide and can't wait to be approved! I was so excited and headed to my local Walmart this morning 8am right when they opened and went straight to the Clearance aisle! I was the first there but there was really not much on shelves. I tried to scan everything but they are either too low or no profit or not in good condition. I am in Los Angeles maybe this area doesn't have much inventory cuz it's too competitive... Do you have any suggestions for us who live in the metropolitan cities for retail arbitrage? Do you ever eventually just get ungated in stuff without trying or do you always have to apply? I mean with time going by and you get experience and reviews will they just ungate you in stuff?
You always have to ask but you start to get auto ungated in some stuff. Some big brands you never will. It can take 6-12 months for categories to become auto ungated when you apply to sell in them

Another great video! Have you ever gotten your account deactivated and if so, how did you handle that? Amazon seems to be very hard to get in contact with now to speak to a real person instead of just an automated e-mail.

Love your videos - short and to the point! I was wondering if you could do a video talking about your strategy as far as what ROI you look for. I know you look for a min of $5 but is that 100% ROI? How much do you usually spend up to on products and how much are you looking for back? If you’re spending $20, are you still looking for $5 ROI or $20 ROI? Thanks!
Mom Thrifter will do! For the most part i don’t worry about ROI until it gets expensive. If an item is $20 I want to make at least $10 so 50%. Buying for $20 and money making $5 doesn’t seem worth it for me.

I use the Amazon seller app which is free with your account (you need to sign in to use it). Yes it uses the camera :)

lisa paul hey! This was in November when I was ungated in grocery! 🤗 I did the process I outline in my guides and got ungated in October that year so November and December I was able to sell lots of holiday type food items

As a seller... You never put the price of your listing lower than the lowest. But their is always those leg cutters who enjoys it.

Hi, I’m a newbie. Been selling FBA for a month-ish. You mentioned in the video about shopping for inventory at local mom & pop discount stores. I love that idea! But I have a question...most of those places don’t put manufacturer’s barcodes on their receipts, so does that mean anything bought from a place like that would have to be listed as “Used-like new” since I wouldn’t have good proof that I bought that specific item on a receipt? Does that make sense? Thank you for your help!
Yes, makes total since but I have never had an issue, most of my receipts don't have a UPC on them. It hasn't affected anything on my end.
