    Mooer's new GE150 is light, easy to use and packs a very large sack full of great tones and effects. Most of the major amp and effects types are represented and they're super easy to dial up. You can load your own IR's in if you wish but the factory cabs are great as well. Two things I didn't show you in this video - the GUI (computer editor) and OTG (on-the-go) compatibility - are also cool and bring the GE150 very much into the current tech environment. If you want easy, great sounds, inexpensive and portability, the GE150 may be for you.

    After it arrived, I spent an hour or so playing the stock patches. I was considering boxing it up and sending it back. I have owned pretty high end effects before and felt this was really lacking. Of course you can't compare it to a thousand dollar rack unit. Anyway, I decided to do a bit of tweaking for fun ( I have been tweaking effects for MANY years, old guy, yep), and BAM! NOT GOING BACK! I did a floyd type patch that I love. A couple dist patches and a clean with medium chorus/reverb. I immediately realized this thing is quite capable, you just have to spend some time creating whatever it is you are desiring. It's not a thousand dollar pedal, but I must say what you can get out of it is QUITE capable. At the price, I am VERY pleased with it now and can't wait to tweak in several more patches. So if you get it and are a bit disappointed, spend some time with those knobs. If you have never created your own patches, now's the time to learn. Satisfaction is just around the corner. Good luck!

      THE NUTS AND BOLTS FROM THE INPUTS AND OUTPUTS FELL APART IN MY HANDS JUST FROM GENTLE USE. THE DISTORTION WAS FAKE AND CRACKLY. IT WAS SILENT MOST OF THE TIME I STRUGGLED WITH IT. I BUILT MY OWN PC AND HAVE BOUGHT SOLD AND TRADED GUITAR GEAR SINCE THE EARLY 80S. HOW DO YOU F SCUM F SLEEP AT NIGHT????????? THIS ISN'T EVEN TOY LEVEL QUALITY. F U SO SO SO MUCH.

      I tweak sounds from my old Yamaha gw50. I've had some expensive gear too. I find exploring the pedal helps you get the right sounds out of it. Now I got a Moore GS 100. Nice, but not a 150!!

      @@erndog64 Good point. I just bought a little multieffects unit for my bass to practice quietly with headphones and I've been blown away with what it can do for my bass, acoustic electric and 6 string electric. It was near the price of a toy product but it's amazing. Gonna use it with my recordings. A valeton gp100. I've had years of experience tweaking these kinds of units including some high priced ones, but this little thing is a hidden gem. Super lush & clean patches. Barely over a hundred bucks. I wish everyone would take the time to learn to use these pedals to full potential. Then you really get your money out of them and tailor them to your own needs. Stock patches are rarely very good and certainly not tailored to your personal needs.

      @erndog64 Рік тому

      @@Synsizer I know the patches are normally not very good. Wish they could make one with all the sound patches you need for a great song.

      @@erndog64 That would be that perfect world we all wish for which just doesn't exist. However, once we spend the time to learn what were doing, it doesn't really take that long to dial them in. I see so many reviews from ppl dissing a product and even returning it when all they have to do is learn how to use it. Of course, the flip side might be if they put out hardly any good pre programed patches we ALL return them. Maybe then they would consider doing a bit better. Again, perfect world vs real world. 😜

    Great demo. I found the device to be a fair bit smaller than I imagined. The presets may have been made by someone who is a bit tone deaf as the tremble is a bit harsh. However, if you put your own quality IRs in and turn off their EQ and fiddle a bit it sounds pretty bloody good! The software works really well and more stable than their software for the Mooer Radar. I am not sure why they don’t make a bigger bank for your own IRs. Like a 1Gb card would store hundreds of Wav IRs. There is only room for 10.

    I tried the GE200 model, and what I didn't like was the fact that the expression pedal was switching on/off as soon as it touched the board. Usually you have to put some extra force/push to engage/disengage it.

    Amps sound very processed and generic..... Not like what they are trying to emulate at all.

    Only 2 bad things:
    - no on/off button;
    - that kind of green plastic on the bottom.
    All the rest make a perfect machine for studying or recording videos for your Instagram.

      @@aramisra4750 Depends, if you use a good power supply you shouldn't get much noise at all. As for the Red truck I don't own that multi pedal but I don't think it's noisy. Hope that helps
