Great video !!! At 8:40, From the sender, how do you get the drop drown box to display Sale or members reply name? Is the setting at Group Setting? How can I get the drop box at the "From"?
You will need to configure "Send mail as". You will find it within Settings > Accounts > Send email as. Once you configured, you will be able to see the drop down box. Hope it helps, thank you!
Hi, I already created a group for use as an internal department group for our organization, but every email message send to the group, all members got the additional footer that write something like this : "You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups ... To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an email to..." I don't want a department members can click to remove themselves from the group and also this additonal footer message is very annoying.. how to do it? thank you very much
Hi Muliady, sorry about the delayed response. I found this response that I believe is what you are looking for. Hope it helps. www.googlecloudcommunity.com/gc/Workspace-Q-A/Restrict-Users-ability-to-remove-themselves-from-a-Google-Group/m-p/162913#M322
@@itwithcarlos Hi Carlos, how do you go about doing this? When I try to reply from my personal inbox there is no option to choose to reply as the group's email address. It only shows if I log in to Groups ui and click reply all, then I have the option to choose "from". But not from my personal inbox. Anyway around this? thank you for your time.
Hello Sir, good video. Can you tell me how to add all company members to the same group at a time ? without getting them invited or them joining, i mean adding them directly while creating the group. it was an option while creating the group by just clicking on adding the whole domain members back in 2018 but i can't find how to do it now. thanks for your help
You can access the group within the Google Admin center and select the group. Then, you will find the option manage members. You can add members there or you can also add members in bulk. You can upload them from a cvs file. Hope it helps, Thank you.
I haven't tested, but I don't see a reason it can't be done. You can create a new rule within Routing or Default Routing within the admin panel > Apps > Gmail > Default routing. Thank you.
Thanks for this video Carlos, really well structured! I am still a bit fuzzy about when to use a group, and when to use a 'shared mailbox'. The later one is not free, but it seems to have a bit more functionality. What is your general take on this please?
Hello Jan, I apologize for my delayed response. As you said, the group does not have any cost and also allow you to add external members (with Gmail address). It also provides collaborative tools that allow you to keep track of the work that has been done. I am currently investigating about delegated access and its advantage to make a video on this subject. Thank you!!!
Could you please create a delegated access for the Google groups. I dont want to add the external user to a google group but he\she should able to merely send an email to that group, how we can achieve this
@@madhukark9780 Within the group settings there is an option to allow external users to send emails to the group. Is it what you are looking for? thanks!
I have never tried to recover a deleted group. I investigated and some people say it is not possible to recover a deleted group, however, you could try searching the logs of events. Search for the deleting event to see if you are offered the recovery option. Hope it helps. Thank you.
Great tutorial! Fixed my issue. Love the accent!! I can listen to you all day. :-)
Awesome! Thank you!
Hi, Carlos and thank you for your videos. Keep up the good work!

Hi Carlos,
Good video! I like the structure, it makes it easier to follow along.
I am having a good mentor :)
This is a helpful video. Is there a way to hide messages once I am done reading them? Also, how come I can't move emails into labels in Google Groups?
I am sorry about my delayed response. One option is to remove the label "Inbox" to the message in question. It will hide the message from your Inbox.
Thank you so much sir
I am glad you like it, thank you!
This was great, thank you. Is it possible to email the group via a mobile phone?
Hi Tyrone, yes, you can email the group regardless of the device. Thank you for your comment!

Good morning.
Great video Carlos. Can you also use "send as" from your own Gmail inbox, or is that only available from the Groups app?
Hi Caleb, yes you can use from your inbox as well. Thank you.

Hi Pavan, for the type of groups that are described in the video, users are only removed by the administrator.
Thank you!
