Y’all haven’t seen anything yet 😭
Genuinely surprised its getting away with a TV-14 rating atm, was fully expecting a TV-MA and still expecting it to be upped once the war actually begins. Absolutely loving the arc and seeing how beautifully done it is is kinda making me wish we could see some of the old iconic fights in this style, like Ichigo vs. Kenpachi or Uryu and Renji vs. Szayelaporro, or a tribute vid like Road of Naruto. So hype and so excited to see what they're adding in the invasion.
Loving that they’re not holding back on the blood. One of the reasons I love this even more is because I wasn’t expecting it to be this bloody, considering how censored the OG anime was. This has been a perfect adaptation so far. I love the cuts, extra scenes, and reordering of certain moments, it makes the pacing flow better
I know that Aizen is a fan favorite but Yhwach's just different he doesn't play around he gets down to business immediately.

I feel Aizen suffers from when his arc was made.
The style at the time being drag shit out with fillers to keep pace with manga, same as Naruto/OP
If the Espada/Aizen arcs were made now, condensed down for pacing....they'd be dope as hell and on this level.

That entire scene of Sasakibe's funeral was so filled with emotion despite it being almost completely silent. I wish we could have got to see more of his character before he died he had such a cool design and power. 😭
He does appear more in the novels if I'm not mistaken. It's where we see his bankai and all. That's a great thing about Bleach, I would read a story about almost any of their side characters lmao

@@VicVibez 1 - It's not in the manga, it's a side novel. You don't need to read if you don't want to. 2 - The guy was Yamamoto's side hand for centuries, is it really that unexpected that he had a bankai?
Quilge is the scariest Sternritter imo. He got an entire volume of the manga basically all to himself and it was a pageturner. Every chapter people were like: " He can do what?!"
We are probably getting most of the entire fight next week.
The beginning of this arc was sooooo good! I really wish Kubo was able to take the time he needed in the second half.
I don't like the idea they're doing 4 chapter per episode cause this whole arc is gonna be about like 50 episodes just hope they don't rush this fight.

Glad we got to see the flashback of how Halibel got captured. That part wasn't in the manga. Kubo did say he was going to add details that wasn't in the manga. Ywach personally coming out to fight Halibel is hilarious 😂...and insanely overkill 💀. Anime-onlys have no idea how crazy hype and terrifying it is to see next episode titled "March of the Star Cross"
Its pretty dope and I imagine more a sign of respect to Aizen...you don't know what kind of countermeasures Aizen maybe left there or left with Tier...better come yourself just in case.
Plus Tier and Grimmjow together could probably take any of the Sternritter down 2v1, they are top lvl espada...but obviously no match for Ywach.
It took like hours for them to completely wipeout the hollows and arrancars so it makes sense when you add the Almighty himself on the fray.
The fight probably only lasted a sec…but i wanted see ywach fight her

Kubo said when he was writing the manga that he toned somethings back because he was worried about it being censored in the anime, but now we are seeing more of his true vision.
If the manga is kubo's version of toned down then I really don't know what to say.

Kubo was talking about the arcs before the tybw because the anime was still ongoing while he was doing the arrancar saga and fullbring arcs. He said he had to create the manga with TV guidelines in mind even though the manga was still pretty bloody lol he said once the tybw arc started the gloves were off and he could write it how he wanted.

Well, even the arrancar arc in the manga was filled with arms being chopped-off and bodies being stabbed-through. I don't really get what was toned-down about it, maybe he was planning to show brains being splattered and guts spilling out?

@@OhyeahMrKrabz Examples of Bleach censoring in the OG anime: Hiyori got cut in half by Gin whereas anime just showed a normal stab. Ulquiorra ripped off Uryu's arm whereas anime just show his arm broken.
Im happy that Bleach finaly has that scary/ominouse vibe which was missing in old animation.

The reason it's a big revelation, one given by Kurotsuchi, is because the Quincies are supposed to be mostly extinct. It was touched on super early in the Soul Society arc, mostly done through flashbacks with Uryu's grandpa and exposition through those conversations. That the Quincies are back in enough of a force to be called an army is a big problem, because it was the Soul Reapers who carried out the near-total extermination of Quincies in the past. Part of Uryu and Ichigo's relationship was being able to be friends in spite of that sordid history. Suffice to say, that sentiment was not widely shared.
The quincies weren't keeping their promise of waiting for the soul reapers to just purify the hollows in order to keep the balance in check.
Also to add to this, remember that freaky captain taunted ishida by saying he tortured thousands of quincies

It’s less that hollows can’t be exterminated in mass, but rather it’s an issue when Quincies exterminate Hollows. As unlike when shinigami kill a hollow, the souls or souls that make up the hollow gets sent to Soul Society (or Hell if the souls were immoral when they were human too), when a Quincy kills a hollow it completely obliterates the soul(s), which causes the imbalance of souls between the Living and Afterlife.

In the manga we don’t learn that they’re quinces until that moment. This anime though was heavily marketed as being about the quinces so I guess the reveal doesn’t really land 😂

@@TheRoleplayer40k it is worth watching. The action sequences are great. Some people complain because there's not constant action, but remember it's also a school anime. S5 was a little weak compared to others but still decent. This S6 is gonna be the best and already has great animation.

The reveal was for the Captains not the Audience. And just extra tension.

Non of quincy have been using traditional quincy weaponry so far. The only clue has been the 5 pointed cross. Uryu stated that Quincy's use bows. That first Quincy that Ichigo fought was using something that looked at like a bow but it had gun barrels on it and was shooting orbs. Bow and arrows is what Quincy's were described to use. If you're someone who never read the Manga or seen the trailers then the Quincy cross was the only clue. Also correction the first person who fought wasn't actually a quincy is was an arancar using Quincy weapons. And his weapon only vaguely resembled a bow.
It's because Wandenreich didn't stuck on old concepts and has been developing the techniques or creating new ones (for example the Ebern's weapon that you mentioned, Quilge's sword that can fire arrows or Quincy Vollstandig being a perfected version of Quincy Letz Stil). Since Uryu had been mostly raised and trained by his grandpa Souken who was attached on the old ways is why he believes it to be so.
