DARK Macclesfield: A Walk in Ian Curtis' Footsteps (Can You Feel the Spirit?)

  • Macclesfield: a town where shadows seem to writhe, where the echoes of industry choke the air, and the very stones whisper of forgotten dreams. Here, in this crucible of forgotten hope, we delve into the life and legacy of Ian Curtis, the specter who led Joy Division's dance with darkness.
We will traverse the concrete labyrinth he once called home, a monument to the cold embrace of conformity. Walk with us past the factories that bled monotony into his days, past the stage where his genius first writhed and pulsed with an unsettling energy. These are the battlegrounds where he wrestled with the cruel grip of epilepsy, a condition that twisted into a macabre dance - a chilling premonition echoed in the song "She's Lost Control."
This is not a celebration, but a descent. Join us as we unearth the fragments of a life extinguished far too soon, a haunting exploration of the darkness that birthed Joy Division's anthems. Prepare to be consumed by the shadows that shaped Ian Curtis.
I hope you enjoy it and help me to grow on my channel.

Ian Curtis is alive and eternal , Hello Ian Curtis and co and all other cosmic eternal peoples, the recent midsummers eve/day Stonehenge free festival gathering 2024, was a cosmicly amazing successful event , I was there and pleased to see all the free natural eternal peoples of the infinite wild natural eternal cosmos enjoying themselves, there WILL DEFINATELY soon be the return of the Stonehenge free festivals FOR ETERNITY , REGULARLY, and ALL other free festivals also FOR ETERNITY , the IMPORTANT thing is, the more the natural wilderness returns back to the northern side/edge of Stonehenge (where the small "barrow hills" and traditional pyramid stage/ main festival site area is), i.e. the tarmac, roads, fences, artificial things e.t.c. being taken up, and the natural mud, turf and other plants growing back,, the sooner the better, and the Stonehenge free festivals Will DEFINATELY return even MORE sooner
it is PRIMARILY NECESSARY for the northern plains tundra/fields ( i.e. where the main free festival, pyramid stage , small" barrow hills" usually is) to become completely natural wilderness again , there will still be a route to the south of Stonehenge for traffic travelling east to west/ west to east, and yet that route will eventually have the tarmac removed e.t.c. also , and then just become a flat dry smooth natural mud route that vehicles can STILL use 100% safely o.k. at the same speeds as before, (that southern only (east to west/west to east) road re-naturalisation (eventually back to a vehicle safe flat dry mud road) is in the more distant future, but to the sides and northern edges all around Stonehenge ,re-naturalisation back to completely natural tundra is VERY DEFINATELY IMMINENT and IMPORTANTLY it is better NOT to actually scorch/burn the actual turf/grass soils e.t,c. in any way , we are elf minimalist-tech eco-friendly(primarily) peoples, Stonehenge is here for ETERNITY , and so are we ALL, and so is all our eco friendly cosmic eternal music equipment e.t.c. any planes, helicopters, U.F.O. , other craft e.t.c. e.t.c. in the sky and space is ONLY Soviet Union Russian, so rest assured EVERYTHING is o.k. and 100% ECOFRIENDLY, see you soon and a DEFINIATE eco friendly free festival ETERNITY ABSOLUTELY GUARANTEED

Hello and many thanks for your magnificent comment. I truly like how you refer Ian as an eternal person, indeed he is. I quite appreciate your invitation for the ecofriendly free festival in Stonehenge. My last visit to Stonehenge was in 2019. It was crowded and I was expecting to see a festival like the one in "The Wicker man" of 1973 hehe 😅 it would have been mindblowing; however, it was a normal day. What I could experience was that spiritual atmosphere that make me feel things that I have never felt or maybe memories that I believed had been shut forever. Now that you inform me about these festival, I will definitely have to arrange a time to go to the complex and have those wonderful experiences, an idea popped into my mind, the Woodstock festival. I imagine the next Free Festival will be held on next year, right? please let me know when will be the next one. I really into UFO things, it will indeed be memorable. Warmest regards and a toast for all the eternal people 🎸

Your information at 6.54 is wrong. Ian went to school at the kings school in macc not prestbury. I live in in macc (which is s**thole of a town to live in). you also missed out on a couple of things too.

Hey bro, sorry about that, you are totally right. Probably because I was staying in Prestbury, I confused directions. I just stayed in Macclesfield for two days, wish I could for longer. Wow! I found the town pretty much cozy, well, some people kind, some not as everywhere in the world hehe, anyway, you'e so lucky about living in a country full of music culture. Enjoy it and thank you for your comment. A hug.

why do you say Maccs is bad to live in? I have lived there for work for almost mid year and it was fine, I found it quite safer than London or MCM or even Leeds

@@Markron have you not seen the rats scuttling about near sparrow park and at the back of little Tesco's. These need sorting out and to be honest painting pictures on walls is a waste of money in my opinion.
