Thanks for the positive feed back I try my best to quantity my results its good when a product lives up to its claims I dislike claims that are based on conditions that don't exist in the real world regards Mike
Would you recommend the gemstone over the old version? The price for the new one is about 10 euros higher in my region, but the old one includes the cup on the bottom
@@kisbushcraftdownunder I think It's first world's problems...If you can't hold the mug because it's too hot for your hands you will have a problem with drinking either because the liquid will be too hot for your mouth (drinking very hot tea causes cancer of oesophagus). The coffee or tea is inside of thermos so you don't have to MAKE it in the mug.
@@BP-bo7mm some people do put tea/coffee/soup inside a thermos but personally I prefer to mix mine at time of drinking and it save a lot of cleaning inside a thermos and under seals
Hi Mike, great reviews mate, great detail and scientific approach, keep posing, thanks

good review! I am hesitant about the cup. Just adds to the weight.
My girlfriend loves the thermos its light and performs great but for me the cup is to small regards Mike
@@kisbushcraftdownunder Thanks for reply. It seems light even with that carry around cup.

If weight is super important and you can put up with the little cup go the gemstone if you want a cup to make tea or coffee go the older one
I don't understand your problem with cup...
Its to small to make a cup of tea/coffee in it and the insulation is a bit thin making it uncomfortable to hold regards Mike
@@kisbushcraftdownunder Most users do not have to make tea or cofee inside of this kind of mug because they have it inside of vacuum flask
