Of course the videos car would never be fixed because of block scratches. But if make the cleaning before this point, it would be perfect. I had an 1 nf fe with 7500ml oil consumption / 5000km. After the cleaning it went to 500ml / 5000km
I’m looking for good videos that will help with a 3mz-de rebuild for an 04 rx330. I think the lubricationnsystem failed maybe a clogged oil pump or filter. I was just due for an oil change at 5k miles when my fiancé put cruise control on and it revved past the set speed and then an engine knock began. Within a mile the check engine and vsc came on and I have 6 codes. P0012 0023 0430 0441 0446 & 0455 We made it home about 4 more miles going easy on the acceleration. The car still turns over easily but the knock is loud and mean. What are the odds that the engine knock would cause all these codes? Or is my bank 2 cat fried as well? Any information or resources would be greatly appreciated! Also would watching other engine rebuild videos be as helpful and informative for my application as watching a specific one on the 3mz fe? Watched a couple in Canada rebuild their 1mz over an 8 video series but they didn’t explain as much as I would have liked the to. Anyway thanks.
@@MayoCarsDR I read what you’re saying and I see that could be is the key phrase. Would not worn crank shaft connector rod bearings creating a knock and put the timing sequence out of sync? Given your expertise what would your gut reaction to that sequence of codes be?
The second code should read 0022 not 0023 cam bank 1 and 2 are out of time. Then catalytic converters bank 2 and 3 other evaporative system malfunction codes.

@@playstation2bigsIt's possible that more oil changes could have prevented the issue. If the piston rings get dirty, they will get stuck and damage the cylinder wall. I change the Oil and Filter every six to eight moths and do not have any issues with the same engine. Oil is cheap and on these it's really pretty easy to change.
this engine has a bad behavior after battery replacement. it has vibration issue on idle. whatever i do nothing helped. my car is only on 28000 km and hasn't got LPG kit.
So, which parts did u replace here? Only the pistons and rings? How about the damaged cylinder wall. Can something be done about that? Thank you!

You always use genuine Toyota engine oil and coolant
And you should also change the transmission oil after 40,000 km , 50000 km

These codes have nothing to do with engine noise
Something else could be causing the noise from the engine
