The idea of this video came right after I posted my last edit on the Order of the Phoenix. It took me half a year to create this one because of my uncertainties and changing the cast. I wanted to convey the atmosphere of chaos, fear, and terror during the First Wizarding War. I tried to follow the Canon but failed and added a few storylines to go deeper, to reveal characters in another way. The video is full of information, so I prepared a description with timecodes. Hope you'll enjoy it!

▸ The story.
00:23 - Benjy and Dorcas are having a difficult conversation about the war. Their baby is the one that was never born. Then he calls Dorcas his wife despite the fact they didn't have time to get married - 4:20.
0:54 - Gideon is insightful, he sees how hard it is for Peter to be a member of the Order of the Phoenix.
1:05 - Sirius interrogates Mulciber, and he warns him that the Dark Lord and his supporters will make him suffer.
1:13 - Dolokhov and Emmeline are dancing after one of the celebrations. She doesn't know he is a Death Eater, nobody knows.
1:18 - The Prewetts are talking about Gideon's alcohol addiction in the headquarters of the Order. Hagrid is an involuntary listener. In the same place but at a different time, Dorcas shares with Sturgis her awareness about the Order - 1:22 .
1:30 - The last time when the Black brothers see each other.
1:39 - Regulus learns about Voldemort's secret and sacrifices himself to get the Horcrux.
1:45 - Sirius sees his dead brother's ghost.
1:49 - Caradoc is going on the Order's mission, on which Marlene is not taken, and she doesn't like that. Remus also is going on the mission. Dorcas is scared for him - 1:51.
1:53 - The Order is planning to assassinate Voldemort.
1:59 - The Death Eaters are celebrating their success in terrorizing the country.
2:01 - Meanwhile, Wilkes kills one more wizard. He is crying because he didn't lose his humanity completely. He is just a puppet carrying out orders.
2:09 - The meeting in the Ministry's walls. Dolokhov is trying to convince that he has nothing to do with the Death Eaters and calls Emmeline, Avery Snr, Rookwood, Dearborn, Doge, and Moody liars. Moody doesn't believe him at all.
2:18 - Narcissa visits Andromeda and Ted. She doesn't know how Ted will react.
2:21 - James and Lily are talking about their future.
2:23 - Rodolphus suggests killing one of the Order's members, Rosier wants to kill them all.
2:34 - Severus meets Lily during the fighting with Voldemort's supporters and suggests to join his army.
2:45 - Moody interrogates Wilkes, who is complaining that he didn't kill anyone. Or course he doesn't believe him.
2:46 - Marlene is tired of sitting around. She requests Dumbledore let her go on the Order's missions.
2:52 - Death Eaters attack Sturgis. Fabian tries to give Gideon his pocket watch before the fighting because he thinks he might not come back. Gideon does not accept it - they will go through everything together.
3:00 - Frank kills an unknown Death Eater. Dorcas kills Wilkes during the struggle, meanwhile, Alastor loses his eye in the battle with Rosier. Evan dies.
3:29 - Death Eaters murder Gideon and Fabian and dump bodies on the ocean shore. Then Benjy and Caradoc kill one of them on the ocean shore - 3:54.
4:24 - Emmeline notices that members of the Order are being murdered one by one.
4:51 - The Dark Lord is gone. The wizarding world's celebrating the victory, but Rabastan does not think this is the end. The Lestranges and Barty Crouch Jr torture into insanity remaining members of the Order - the Longbottoms.

I like this because it shows that the original order Phoenix wasn’t just an order that had the same goal in mind, they were a family and those that died in the war really affected a lot of people in the order for example like James and lily.
Okay, I tried to make this looks good. I cried so many tears over this edit. The faith of the Order's members is terrifying, but they kept going no matter what. As it says, if you are going through hell, keep going. They fought against Voldemort and his supporters even when there was no hope, when their friends, loves, and relatives were dying. Like Mulciber said, the Death Eaters did everything to make the Order suffer. In some way, I suffered with them doing this video :')
IKR to have the strength to fight a war when you side is outnumbered 20/1 😭

This is probably the best video about the 1st Wizarding War I have ever seen- everything is perfect, the cast, the music, the voiceovers, the manips, the extracts from the books, the scenes,... this is one of the best thing i've ever watched about harry potter. at least definitely better than half-blood prince and fantastic beasts movies. i loved the cast, song, storie, the way you edited and the whole atmosphere you created. it was absolutely stunning, loved it!

This is so good! I honestly can't imagine how you tied all these different scenes together and it still came out perfectly.
The atmosphere of your video is so good as well! It really captures how I imagine the first war must have been like for the people living it. Not knowing who you can trust, therefore not knowing where you are safe. How some people might not have even wanted to be where they were but believed they didn't have choices. How the Order must have felt so helpless and defeated at times but never gave up. Just *chef kiss* to this whole video to be honest.

Mind-blowing. Stunning. Magical. Unbelievable. Painful. So many words to describe this video. My eyes were so glued to the screen just now watching this that literally nothing else in the world existed and I have ADHD so that's really hard for me to get watching a long video. That was a masterpiece in every definition of the word. The editing, the voiceovers, the narration from the audiobook, the entire entourage of characters in both the Order and the Death Eaters... The storytelling in every minute that passed as you see the progression of war and the tragedy and chaos that surrounds those involved in it... I was rendered speechless for a minute after it was over before I decided this deserves a whole ass comment that is more than me simply keyboard smashing and fawning over the Marauders Era and First Wizarding War which is my niche in the HP fandom and where I live and breathe tbh. Thank you. Thank you so much for making this. You have immense talent and of the 100+ First Wizarding War/Marauders Era videos I've seen this is easily somewhere in the top 3 if not my favorite one yet. Now I'm gonna watch it at least 5 times more so I know I don't miss a single detail through my many tears :).

Uncommon opinion: The Slytherins were scared and dumbledore and the ministry didn't help them so they joined the person they thought would. Then they ot trapped. Both sides were prejudiced against the other and dumbledore could have stopped it long before it got to the intensity it did
