Hey Ralph, Thanks. The cold is not that bad when you dress for it, but the wind. Windchill is a crazy thing. But if you want to get cold water fish, you have to face the cold right,
I have fished there. You were more successful than me. Those stocked lakes (former quarry) do not have that many fish in them. Real dedication fishing in the cold unsheltered for that long! Do you have any plans to target carp this year?

Think it was around 1m. I do hope the ice would last awhile, but I have been seeing a lot of open water and thin ice in other spots.
