That's awesome! I just bought myself a Specialized turbo Creo SL road e-bike. not for commuting but to keep up with my husband and all the fast men that I ride with in the club. As a 59 y/o woman it was getting tough to hold on for more that 50 kms with the men now I can get in 100 to 120 kms every day off if I want to and no more feeling trashed after a ride and needing 2 recovery days, The price was very steep but worth it for me. I also got a spare set of wheel with gravel tires so i can do double duty as a gravel bike I was able to fit 40mm tires on it! WooHoo!

I would seriously love an E Bike! Where I'm moving I only will have like a 10 minute drive to work. Gas prices as they are it could not only save there, but help me get moving, exercise wise and not a long commute. I appreciate you sharing about the bike, and the pluses! Thank you!

I found a remote job so now I only drive for errands and try to do them all at once. My gas budget has gone down drastically.

I’ve already told my kids they aren’t driving until college at the soonest. I’ll buy them the PEV of their choice. I live in a suburb that’s relatively bikeable. I do many of my miles on an electric unicycle, it’s actually faster than driving many times, since I don’t get caught in traffic and can go more direct ways on neighborhood streets and paths. For quick 2-3 mile trips, the rule should be not driving unless you’re picking up something heavy.

I've been thinking recently it would be neat to have a covered, recumbent e-bike. If someone could get it to where you don't have to wear any special clothes and don't get sweaty, at a reasonable price, that would be awesome.

20 mph is the sweet spot. This bike seems to be perfect for me. Just wish they had XL.

It can easily be unlocked and go up to 22.

I'm so glad I don't have a car payment. I haven't had one in years

I want to commute by bike but in my town, riding in the road with car and truck traffic is terrifying and intimidating. Especially when the drivers seem to be openly hateful and yell at bike riders just for existing.

I live in Seattle, how do e-bikes handle steep hills, in terms of battery life? Would you recommend one in that setting??

It probably depends on the bike and the power of the motor, but the two that I have climb the hills around town pretty well. They do slow down a bit, and it does take more battery power to climb, but it all depends on how steep and how far.

60 years old, ride 16 miles to work on a NORMAL bike. Maybe after a hip replacement… lol
