No wonder your sons are so capable at fixing things. They had a Dad that taught them well.
My dad was a mechanic in the Army WWII - I learned so much from him. Watching Mr. Welker brings back so many memories!!
If you farm, you fix things, just the way it is. A lot of people don't realize that farmers are so much more than someone who puts seed in the ground. Mechanics, business people, planers, and weather people are just a few hats they wear.
I hope this season goes well for the Welkers and Coby. May Coby get a little closer to catching that "Wabbit".
Whenever I see a new Welker Farms video it puts a big smile on my face! God bless our Patriot farmers.
Same here!
I really enjoy watching all the Welkers. I appreciate Bob's humor and wit.
Farm dogs have the best lives, roaming around free and always with their owners.
It's always great to see Coby the Stunt Dog back in action.... He's happiest when he's with his pal... You're a lucky man Bob!!! Good family and good loyal friends are hard to come by..... Give Coby a scratch and a treat for me!!
I gave him a scratch but I ate the treat......
That new drone footage is super impressive!!
Dramatic landscape!
Coby and Bob are an amazing duo!
Excellent video Mr. Welker. Surprised the urea truck unloaded the front wagon first with it being muddy. Hope he had no issues. Stay safe and healthy Sir.
Robert, I enjoyed hanging out with you. The same identical thing happened in the driver's door of my 1982 F150. Because I did not have a welder suitable for welding on thin sheet metal I made a trip to the junkyard and just bought me a door. So now I have a white truck with a brown door.
I hope you washed your hand good after you grabbed that handful of nitrogen.
I would like a dollar for every time Bob has sat on his glasses by the looks of them!! 😂 my dad is exactly the same and they are in the exact same state. Has left his glasses in every field and fence post on our farm
Mr. Welker, it was so great to watch you fixing the truck. Reminded me of my youth on the farm in Michigan. Been many decades since we moved to Texas but good memories of days gone by. Thanks for sharing. God Bless you and your precious family.
One of the reasons that keeps me coming back to watch every new video is how Welker Farms has great content between the farming and mechanical content. Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing it with us.
Urea is used to melt snow on the railroads in Norway. It’s because regular salt short circuits parts in a level crossing and urea do not.
Some great drone shots Bob, you guys stay in an area with some beautiful scenery.
Thanks for making the video. Very nice to tag along and see the day to day. I'll take a Bob & Coby video anytime. I got to get me some of those right angle screwdriver ratchet do-dads, and I don't even wrench.
Hey Bob, we’re old school. I have speed wrenches in my toolbox, too, some inherited from Dad. 👍
First time to mountains that close...thanks for good shoot
After noticing the large amount of snow on the mountains in the background, you should get plenty of moisture from that when it starts to melt next spring.
As a farmer myself I really enjoy your dad's content of fixing himself and helping. Hope you guys got a better deal on thr fertilizer than we did lol
Wow thanks for the drone view. I had no idea you had a Mountain View like that!
There on the edge of the farmland against the foothills and the eastern slope of the Rockies. The edge of the arable soil would run 20 miles west of there operation.
Thanks for another great video Bob.
It was interesting and enjoyable.
Nice work on your pickup.
You did great to modify the window crank assembly from manual to electrical motor. Worked just fine. Nice work Bob.
The window works great now.
Second nice work on the brake reservoir setup. You did great changing over to new tank and all. Seems to all work great. Good job at changing the brake fluid.
I assume it works ok now after a test drive. Did not hear otherwise.
Of course you had your buddy Colby to help. Good to see Colby again. Wonderful companion for you Bob.
Next busy time getting ready for spring work by unloading fertilizer into the bins. Another job done. Busy time getting ready for spring.
Great drone footage Bob. Was wonderful.
Guess about it for now. Thanks for the video on your projects and seeing Colby also.
Appreciate the way you approach projects Bob. I have great respect for you and your operation. Always enjoy your videos.
Many thanks.
The Iowa Farm Boy.
Almost forgot. No helpers today.
Leg arms is probably working on the house. But Nick must have been hiding from the work-ha. Just kidding. You did great on your own.
Thanks
Thanks Steve. Yes Scott is very busy with the house
Still not sure about the cold start when you’re parked by power but the old magnum goes every time🤓
This is gripping cinema...the popcorn had to be doubled...a bag for the front brake line amd a bag for the rear! Then the gripping drama of the regulator with the theme music...I can see clearly now the rain is gone...its going to be a bright bright sunshiney day!
You sure has a sunny attitude.....😊👍
Your issue is likely the rubber lines that attach to the calipers or the rubber line that runs from the frame to the splitter fitting on the rear axle. The rubber lines at about 10 years or so will start to degrade internally and break down. You can get a flap of rubber that will block the line. It may actuate (take fluid) but then not release unless it sets for a long period of time. The can be intermittent too. It may go 3 months and not act up. You park it. Start it the next time an upon the first pedal actuation, it will plug off. Given the age of the truck, I'd suggest changing out all the rubber line sections.
Closest iconic duo may be Turner and hooch. Reson is Bob you are smart and know what you are doing. And Colby is fearless ready to tackle anything. By the way did the brakes work right after the swap?
I love watching Coby because he reminds me of our farm dog when I was a boy (60+ years ago).
Isee you are left holding the fort down. Great job sir
Those hills are just as beautiful from our Canadian side. Blessings >
Now we know how and where Scott and Nick got to be so handy in the shop and everywhere else. Robert you are the epitome of a Good Teacher. God bless you all. 🙏
Praying so hard for you guys to have a very successful year. God blesses those who follow him. Y’all do. You went through a tuff year last year but you kept your faith in him so I believe he will bless you this year. That is my prayer. Steve in Texas.
Thank you steve
My neighbor had a large front yard that had a gradual slope to the street. I'd sneak over and write our last name in the middle of his yard. When spring came you could see our last name that would be deep green. So funny. He never did figure it out.
@Kevin - Wow, you actually wrote your real surname on your neighbours yard & he still couldn't figure out who'd done it, that's just amazing. 😁
I f that is a new intro , I like it. As far as Bob and Coby , no one can beat that duo , not even the guy in Minnesota with his cat dog. Lets hope for a great year for the Welkers
I don't recall ever seeing the mountains in the back of the bins before! WOW what a view you all have.
Sweet drone shots
Well done DAD 🙏👀....Thanks 👍
Thank you Mr. Welker sir. I really like your little screwdriver tool. And what is the name of the mountain range in the drone footage? You men are a true blessing to this tired Ole steel mill worker. Keep em coming. GOD BLESS!!!
Sweetgrass hills. About 7000 ft elevation
Thank you, Bob. Your input, your thoughts, your ability, are always appreciated. 👏
the drone video of the bin yard today compared to only 3 years ago when grain was in a big pile in the yard shows amazing progress. Did find some popcorn. Bet the only time Shelby mechanics see a Welker is for a cup of coffee and chat. Great video of the most experienced mechanic on the farm and his trusty side kick. These videos just make me smile no matter what is going on in the world. Thanks for producing them.
Done shots are typically overused and unimaginative but the closing shots on this video were the best I've seen. Really well done and they told a story about your farm that had never been captured before. Great choice
Just pure excellence! God bless you all!!
Coby just sleeps, he doesn't even supervise!
GREAT drone footage, reminds me of long ago flying over the farm.
Great video Bob! You can also install the master cylinder on the vehicle as long as you prime it prior to connecting the brake lines. You don't want all that air in the system or you will be bleeding them for hours! Keep up the great content!
Your aerial/drone videography is amazing and just keeps getting better! Coby is my favorite UA-cam dog celebrity! Thank you for sharing! ❤💪😎👍
Bob sure is a busy today,🤣😉😉👍
Six inches of snow coming to Shelby this coming Mon and Tues!!
No truer friend than a dog. I am 67 and I belong to a female Australian Shepherd that is my shadow. ☺
Hi Bob, I don't know about on your particular truck but on the Sierra and Silverado models, air can get trapped in the ABS pump. There is an ABS bleed function on the higher end scan tools, which will run the pump and force any air out of the pump, and send it further down the line so you can remove it at the bleeder screw. You can also force the pump to run yourself by braking hard enough to activate the ABS. This works sometimes. You didn't say if your rear brakes were good after replacing the master cylinder. Hopefully, everything was fine and you don't need this little tip. Thanks for the video!
-mike
Thank for the tip.
Now, that is a huge auger! If something looks big on video, then in real life you know it is absolutely massive! A thoroughly enjoyable video. Indeed, Bob and Coby are a wonderful duo. One understands the other perfectly. On top of everything else, I learnt a thing or two from the very easy to understand explanation.
FINALLY - someone that realizes that when you are bleeding brakes that you need to wait between cycling the plunger/piston for the air to escape and the fluid to enter the cylinder. I constantly see internet "experts" stomping on a brake pedal like they are killing mice in a corner and wonder why the system doesn't bleed correctly. Kudos for a job properly done.
Beautiful area you farm in. God Bless
Protect this man at all costs. Also koby is a good boi
Always great to see Bob and Koby. Those drone pictures show just how beautiful your farm is the mountains in the backdrop
Are you all going to be at the farm machinery show in Kentucky this weekend?
So often it happens that I start a simple project and it expands into a whole new experience. Keep up the good work! From another 'Bob'.
Great video Bob! Have been doing similar work on my '78 Ford F-150. Rear brakes not working properly. Getting a shimmering/jumping from rear. My mechanic told me probably a brake proportioning valve. You didn't say if your replacement of master cylinder did the trick. May God Bless you for 2023!
I love how Coby does all his own stunts.
Omg it's been years since I saw a speed wrench. Old guys RULE!
I love Bob episodes. So many people these days cant figure out why their car does the things it does. Most people out source it or just throw it away. Trying to teach my boys that a bit of time and knowledge can save you fortunes and also give you a sense of worth. Nice Job Bob
costs for nitrogen are exponentially higher since Walter took office. Many small farmers are going belly up.
Fabulous landscape . Have ye ever climbed to the top of those peaks ? I’d imagine a super views. Great drone footage . 👍🏻
I did on the left one .....awesome view. Can see 100 miles. It's 7000 ft high
@@RobertWelkerFarmerBob Fair play to u Robert . That’s a bit of a climb for sure 😅. Super distance to be able to see that far unhindered ❤️. Can imagine the fresh air 🤗. Keep up the great work ye do 🤝🤝
God bless. Great drone shots of the farm and mountains
I use one of those speeder handles to wind my 4 inch load straps back up on the winches. A 13mm socket and a Allen wrench, works great,.
the master craftsmen at work, although bleeding brake lines is a bad memory from 1981. i was in a hurry; they weren't.
I LOVE TOBY , what a companion.
Bob's best friend. Dynamic duo !!!
God that's beautiful country. makes me miss the region.
beautiful air shots... thanks
Hello Mr Welker
Love your video love seeing coby he's so cool great see you both together. having fun . Hope you family doing good.😎😎
Nicely done fixing that window I see a lot of people break the glass trying to fix it.
That was sooo punny Bob, good to see you!
love the panoramic of the farm
Peanutbutter and Jelly.
Bob did the brakes get better? Hope so. You and Koby sure make a pair! Appreciate your vlogs.
Hey Bob you and Colby done an excellent job especially the drone footage 👏👏
Yeah, ya gotta love those two!
Still plenty of snow here and more coming, lofty seven degrees on a warm day but a quick rise in temp is a foot of snow.... maybe we will fill lake Mead
Looking much better for Mead but such a long ways to go
Another first class video. I think your dad has done a fantastic job, preparing the farm for the next generation. Appreciate your family values and your Christian faith. Have a blessed and wonderful weekend.
Thank you for taking us with you on your farm it's so enjoyable to be a part of your family
Those are the brakes, Bob! 😉
That drone is freaking sweet
May God Bless you and your crops this year.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼Thanks for being a Farmer.
0:31 Epic shot! That would make a awesome poster!! ps: Batman and Robin… naa your right , Bob and Coby big time!
Boy, with a long lens those mountains don't look that far away.

Thanks Bob fer farmin' !!
Bob you are something else I see were the boys learned there stuff own a farm one has to fix stuff your self y’all do a good job
Great video Bob - really enjoy the drone work.
Nice to see your dad do a video. Wish I could have my dad in my videos. But it was about the time my dad died that I really got started on UA-cam. Make the most of your parents because you sure miss them when they are gone!!
Another great video, How did the bin site end up so far from the Home place? Your drone work is the best. Thanks Bob!
That was the original farm yard for my dad and uncle. We move the operations to the site we're at now in 1973
Always nice videos, look forward to seeing them 😀 👍
It is always a joy watching your videos
Great vid!! Also those were sweet drone shots!! 👍🏼
Great catch up Robert. Give Koby a cuddle for me. 👍👍👍🇬🇧🇺🇸
A wag is on the way

Wow I hope you guys have a good spring start with you're planning
Great to see Coby out and about again. Super great shot of the Sweetgrass Hills. So good to see them again.
Love the title and intro keep up the great work. Drone shots are wonderful. God Bless!!!!
The world needs more what about Bob in our lives.
