Thank you so much for all your examples. I’m new to piano I started lessons 7 months ago at the age of 54 and am about to do my initial grade. Your videos are so helpful
Your videos are very helpful in preparation of trinity exams. Thank you. :) I have a question though. Can Trinity digital Exam entry be given, on a 61 key touch sensitive keyboard? If yes, uptil which grade level is it allowed?
Yes, I think so. It has a pedal? But the better the instrument, the more musical and expressive a performance will be. So if needs be, fine, but only at the early stages.
Thankyou soo much Julian, I just have a question for my better understanding when the Tempo marking is 60 BPM, by default should we need to use a Quaver or a crotchet beat. I observer that you were using Quaver beats for the 60 BPMS as a result of it the outcome become 120 BPM. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thank you once again.
Hi Rajkumar, I think there may be a misunderstanding here. For the scales, set the metronome to 60bpm then play two notes to each beat. It's important for us to be able to do this - divide the beat into 2 equal parts, but if you wanted to set the metronome to click with every note we would set the metronome to 120.
@@JulianLambert thankyou once again, i understand that the rhythm can take its own shape but the beat remains the same(here metronome is the beat), I am getting a wonderful clarity with your explanations. My other question is like buying a genuine Trinity Book should metronome device be bought or Online/Android app metronome could also be used for the Virtual Online exams.
THANK YOU SO MUCH.

@@JulianLambert yes, it has a pedal. Thank you for your prompt reply. 🙏🏽🙂
Thank you for all the guidance. I was just wondering if I need to do all 3 of only the A exercises or only just all B, or can I do 3 of a mix??
We must choose 3: either a) or b) from 1, 2 and 3.
@@JulianLambert thank you so much!!

Please can you tell me what metronome app you are using?
It's called ProMetronome, but there are many to choose from and needn't cost any money.
