Got one a month ago, we are loving it, upgraded the door handles inside and outside with a long one. Adding solar to it now, added two terminals one from positive and one for negative wiring. Added charge controller by the door inside for solar panel to charge the battery, added battery disconnect switch to turn off power when storing camper. Adding front leveling jacks for a more stable system. Love the camper!!!
We just bought one of these to use as a "mother-in-law's quarters" at our daughter's house in the country. We are excited because it has great features and tremendous potential at an affordable price.
It needs more windows. 2 by the bed and 1 in the door. Otherwise not too shabby. The electric fireplace was a surprise and the electric awning is cool.
Unless you go to the middle of no where, most people are going to a place with hookups and ive never seen people open their windows so people parked on both sides can watch them all day / night. Have more windows as an option/ added expense but most people don't need them or use them.
Ohhh this is a contender! two things I would love to see - a convection microwave and a retractable shower curtain. Also kinda obsessed with the floor vac on the rpods.
I love this guy's style in showing the trailer; it made me laugh! I love the simplicity of this trailer--I don't need all those extras! The bed position with storage and outside access will be great for my cats. It will let them roam freely between the enclosure and the trailer. The removable table will allow me to put in a table of my own. The fireplace could be a great extra. All in all, I'm seriously considering this model. I also like the side-mounted air conditioning unit: why open yourself up to future leaks by cutting a hole in your ceiling!
Top notch video, dude! You just sold one!~ Just have to make some mods to my yard, to get it under the RV cover with our other toys. Thank you very much!

You never mentioned that cabinet door on the wall behind the fireplace. Is that more storage or just access to the back of the fireplace for maintenance or whatever?
@@earnestthomas9941 pretty good so far. AC hasn’t been draining properly, but warranty will cover it. Definitely a base model camper - heats up in the summer heat and sun, and doesn’t retain much heat in the cold. It’s a good first time trailer, but at some point an entire upgrade is a likely next step. The lantern really shows you what you like and dislike in a trailer. All around, not a bad one at all. I’ve been living in mine full time - no issues other than the AC.

Nice RV but needs more windows. Maybe a large one by the bed area? I would love if they had an option of a sofa with that removable table instead of a dinette. Also the corrugated outer shell makes it look cheaper and old. But otherwise nice layout and plenty of storage which is nice. I would love something like that soon. You mentioned water tank sizes, but never mentioned anything about a water heater. Is it equipped with a water heater? Capacity? Is tankless an optional upgrade?
Very understandable. This is a very price sensitive RV, so they tried to save money where they could, like having a shorter awning. I do understand why you'd want a larger one though! -Ian Baker
Can i tv be mounted to the wall, will the wall support a small tv? Also can an extended step handle be added for folks that are physically impaired. You know for people that need something closer and linger to pull on while using the steps?
Ya you could live in it. Less movement means less maintenance. Rvs require more maintenance when they are moved alot. More stationary means longer life.
Hi Rob, The main issue with this model for cold weather camping is the lack of a propane furnace. However, the 2025 Coleman models have removed the electric fireplace and added a propane furnace. With the milder conditions in that location, it may be possible to use one of the 2025 Keystone Coleman RVs (blog.campingworld.com/find-your-rv/2025-keystone-coleman/) for your purpose. You just may need to take steps like adding insulation to exposed plumbing lines, using a heated water hose, and insulating your roof vents (www.campingworld.com/camping-world-rv-vent-insulator-142348.html). There's always the chance that beyond normal weather conditions can have an adverse impact on our RVs, but these articles have some additional tips: blog.campingworld.com/lifestyle-activities/winter-rv-camping-what-you-need-to-know/ blog.campingworld.com/gear-and-accessories/winter-rv-skirting-best-practices/ Hope that helps!
Hi There! This model isn't equipped with a range hood above the cooktop. So it can be a good idea to open the kitchen window, as well as the window across the RV on the dinette side, to provide cross-ventilation while cooking. Hope that helps, but please let us know if you have other questions!
That toilet pantry nice but everything you own including those beautiful wooden door and knobs will be covered in poo particles.. Id either move it, or cut the bathroom in half and make a small toilet closet like other rvs have to inclose the poo.
Salesman talking like a salesman. That said, weight this video with the HONEST reviews from owners' experiences and you're all set. Just kinda irritating listening to someone talk about that fireplace like it's something special.
I needed something this size and affordable and almost got one of these, but then I heard the horror stories about the tin exterior panels coming off on the road, the AC not doing anything, ect. I ended up getting a used Palomino Palomini on FB Marketplace. It weighs 2850, fiberglass exterior, frame less tinted windows, full bath, 2 sinks, bigger awning and outdoor shower and best of all...13,500 btu AC ceiling unit!
While there are a lot of RV's that are capable of winter camping, I wouldn't advise it for this one. Without any tank heaters, underbelly insulation or even a furnace, you would have a hard time staying warm and it would be very difficult to run water without serious modification. -Ian Baker
I would say probably not. Your only heat source is an electric fireplace that requires a generator or shore power to run. There are similar models that are slightly more expensive that do have propane furnaces. However, it depends on where you live as very few models in this price point are considered 4 season RV's and your water lines will freeze in freezing temps. -Ian Baker
Say a guest comes in to use the toilet and they make a dump, since there's no way for them to wash their hands. If they use that cheap rv toilet paper there finger rips into their poo butt. they have poo on their fingers that they open the door with. And then go to your kitchen sink to wash their poo over your food prep area or where you clean your dishes. So you'll have poo remnants on the door knob and poop particles on the kitchen sink handle at a minimum.
Sounds like you tell your guest they have to poo at the campground facilities as you have rules about how your RV bathroom is used, lol. I know what you mean, and agree that a sink in the bathroom is preferred, but that's something you need to decide for yourself if that's a deal breaker or not. -Ian Baker
Don’t take it winter camping? Ok, I live in Syracuse NY. We get more snow than Buffalo. I guess I won’t be buying this model. That sucks, I like the lanterns.
