DALL-E 2 would be a good choice for the task, since it relies on more descriptive prompts. I'm wondering how the result would compare to human-made logo design. Looking forward to that video.
That wasn't AI though, it's just an automated system with what are effectively templates. I would be interested in seeing a comparison with a true AI, something more along the lines of Midjourney.
Dalle are other platforms like that are trash. They are generating work by taking references from designer's work from all over the world. that too, without their permission. how you will know if someone download your logo design and take little bit reference from it. They will generate money, while you don't even know about it. There is nothing AI generated. This is Computer Database Generated. Just like shutterstock, google etc. are working.
@@vrm_ravi This is false. These models learn about the way things look from databases of images, yes, but what they create is novel and is in no way is akin to searching from a database. For example, it would have been be fed thousands of images tagged as minimalist logos, and from that it learns what as a minimalist logo should generally look like, allowing it to create new images that fit the parameters. Sound familiar? That's basically how humans work. Designers take very strong and direct inspiration from existing work all the time, to an equal if not sometimes greater extend than these AIs.
I don't mean to be conspiratorial, but I doubt that this "AI logo maker" even has AI on it and just piecing out stock iconography and text and mashing those into a bland, unpleasant sludge of wasted potential. I am pretty happy that such a video have surfaced in the fever of this A.I. thingy that showed up on the latest times. I am also a graphic designer and, though I do not work as a freelancer, I love doing logos (I made my own channel logo myself). And part of what design is, has truly been showcased in this video. An A.I. could never replicate the concept that a true human graphic designer is capable of creating, no matter how intelligent or well-coded it is. The human brain is extendable to be thoughtful of many possibilities, but a computer will always stick to his own code and commands - it's 0 or 1. For the human brain, it is 0 to almost infinite. Artificial Intelligence can never replicate what people are able to do. They can be fast, but almost never efficient. Its just the way he wants to level up his playing field. Competition is hard nowadays with regards to getting clients.
@@edongski I get it. I realized once Fiver came around that graphic designing for the smaller guys was a dead industry, I just didn't realize how dead it was. That's why I worked to open a graphics shop, there's no other way of making good money as a designer.
I know the point of the video is different, but I feel like the fiverr design could also have been much better. Personally the logo leaning towards the type is visually upsetting to me and the corners of the bolt cutting the icon in two is also drawing too much of my attention. The visual balance also feels off. But for 2 days of work I suppose its fine
There was no AI in this.
Please share the fiverr designer's name !!!!!!
Love from kerala😄
i keep trying to get logo ideas out of midjouney. This (not)AI service was trash but the Fiverr guy was great.
dalle-2 ,GPT3, that was not an AI company so its not a fair choice
Font is good but logo is unsatisfied
if you try an actual ai like midjourney you'll noticed that ai does a good job at generating ideas but not that great at creating a final product.
both sucks, I was able to do much better job with mid jorney trial version :D
too simple logo now is quite generic, the logo from the fiverr seller is very similar to one of brand I know "Sicepat" from Indonesia.
If I were him I would increase my rate... today.
The kerning is a nightmare on the "paid" logo. Seriously - all look terrible and straight off Graphic River.
Hire a professional designer and pay a fair price. Both logos are terrible in my opinion. You get what you pay for. Shit in, shit out.
Great presentation, but I have to be honest and say that the logo is not particularly memorable at all.
talk more and you can sell anything. logo is not "creative" enough but he knows better talking.
This video is entirely biased. The example "AI" logo generator has nothing to do with AI, it's just a basic knockoff of the Namecheap's FREE logo maker. Also the logo designer is just talking bunch of garbage. The design is cool, but unnecessary talk doesn't make it any better.
Ai will eventually destroy the creativity
