I wish your reviews would cover the most important aspects of buying a treadmill. 1-Customer Service 2-Deck comfortability. And how the different types of decks can be helpful or not useful when it comes with them being comfortable. No one talks about these things. Words are just words on a specs sheet if we don’t know how the deck compares with others. 3- what to look for in terms of warranties, deck specs comfortability. But customer service satisfaction or nightmare consistency is extremely important for consumers. 😊
On most of our written articles on the website we talk about the customer service experience, but I'll try and call it out more on the video reviews! Thanks for the feedback, I'll try and add some of this stuff in in future reviews! - Linds
Lastly. Screen size should never be a reason to buy a treadmill while also having iPad holders. Most ppl have a smart tv, iPad or other device if they are now in a place in life where buying a treadmill for their home is an option and priority.
Hey there! I have been doing some research and I can’t seem to find what I’m looking for. I want to buy a treadmill that I can use at least 12% incline consistently on a low speed, but I am concerned I will burn out the motor if always the max incline what are your thoughts?
I think that if you find a motor that is at least a 3.0 CHP you should be good! I think even a smaller motor size would do okay, but I would look at the Sole F63, or the preform carbon tlx! - Linds
Our article has a full list and a couple of them are around that price range. Check it out - www.garagegymreviews.com/best-treadmills-on-amazon - Linds
Can someone explain to me the horsepower argument regarding distance? I understand more CHP is a more powerful motor, but what does that have to do with length of time running? If I am going on a long roadtrip, I am not as worried about whether I have 300hp or 600hp car as much as I am worried if it will run a long time without overheating or breaking and is it comfortable. I am not going to expect a direct correlation between a person's max bench press (power) and how well they are at endurance sports (time). Big hills, major acceleration, top speed, yes HP matters, I just don't understand this position of "if you are running marathon or ultra distances, you need a more powerful motor." Without this explanation it feels like snake oil to buy the bigger, more expensive machine.
I've been wondering about this as well. Unless the thought process here is that a weaker motor will have to work harder than a stronger one, thus reducing its lifespan??
That is exactly our thoughts and have seen it with other treadmills. Treadmills in our experience with a small CHP tend to have trouble with the motor faster than those with a higher CHP. - Linds
She can't help that, that's what god gifted her with. Stop being mean, you are not perfect yourself. People need to stop judging and throwing shade. And what you find irritating someone else loves.

What model do you have? I've heard they have a slight incline even at the flat position, is this true? Never truly flat?
