I can agree with you on that. I 'found' Gary several years ago on UA-cam and he is the reason I've renewed my interest and enthusiasm for Blues-Rock and lead guitar players ever since!

This show was a promotional gig put on in tribute to Fender guitars. Many big names appeared that night. Most just phoned in their performance. Not Gary Moore. He closed the show and put everyone else to shame. This was a stellar performance by Gary, and it showcased the pinnacle of talent on the electric guitar.

He was and still is very much appreciated by most top-level guitarists. He was his own player, always identifiable. I saw him live on a few occasions during both his heavy rock and blues periods. Always great, always played with passion and absolute feel.

Thanks for another great reaction. I'm in America, and I watch a lot of reactors from around the world. I am always amazed at how well people from all over speak English. I always wonder if it's the daily language or not. Even Americans struggle with the English language. Thanks again. I have fun watching along with you guys. Have a great day.

I am English and I have the same sentiments. I think people around the word realise what an international language English is and they work hard to learn it. However, as a native English speaker I never learnt even a second language.

@@79BlackRose hmmmmmm. Well I’ve seen him three times and he’s quite passionate in his playing. He’s based his onstage persona on old blues masters like BB King, who also wore a suit and who’s face was quite placid when he played. But each to his own.

I've said it before and I'll say it again,
Gary was the greatest guitarist that ever walked on this earth.
It is very fitting that you should do a Gary Moore reaction at this time as 6th February marks the anniversary of his death, 13 years ago! Still miss him so much.
Could you please react to Gary Moore Empty Rooms Live in Stockholm. It was recorded in 1987 and is from Gary's rock days. It could be described as a kind of rock ballad. Gary's guitar solo in this is absolutely brilliant.
    Here is the link:

I really hope that you will react to this and look forward to seeing what you think.
    Kindest regards to you both.

Nothing wrong with Gary Moore I saw him with Thin Lizzy back in the day a couple of times but I would say the guy who absolutely nails the it on this track is Alvin Lee when he performs The Bluest Blues, his guitar actually Cries, the sadness that Alvin gets out of his guitar is just perfection, well worth a listen
