When Salma Hayek said this movie is for people who have never felt represented, I felt that deep in my bones especially since this movie has 3 genderbent characters, 3 Asian main characters, a gay character (possible lead), two African-American main characters, a deaf character, and a Mexican character leading the whole group. It's definitely the most diverse MCU cast yet.

Another thing I noticed and love is that when it came time for Angelina Jolie to answer a question pretty much one of biggest stars acting in Hollywood today the A-lister she actually seemed nervous. Standing in front of huge crowds she's done many times, but the MCU is so big and fandom so huge she knows this movie could be biggest thing in her career so far and she wants to get it right and work hard at it and after all movies she's done and stages she's been on she still gets nervous...and wants to please the fans that says a lot. Lot of people turn super diva and don't think they have to work for it anymore their just that good, but Angelina is not that way. She has the right attitude for this.

I've always been a huge fan of Angelina Jolie for her subtle yet superb acting spanning from Salt, Changeling to Maleficent, and her work with humanity and the UN. I've only just discovered the upcoming "Eternals" and have been watching the fan & casts promos. Have you noticed that Angelina is positioned on the side in just about every promo and interview? I find that so humbling and touching for a A-list megastar like her to be so comfortable allowing the rest of the cast to shine. I really enjoyed her latest movie "Those Who Wish Me Dead".

Another thing I noticed and love is that when it came time for Angelina Jolie to answer a question pretty much one of biggest stars acting in Hollywood today the A-lister she actually seemed nervous. Standing in front of huge crowds she's done many times, but the MCU is so big and fandom so huge she knows this movie could be biggest thing in her career so far and she wants to get it right and work hard at it and after all movies she's done and stages she's been on she still gets nervous...and wants to please the fans that says a lot. Lot of people turn super diva and don't think they have to work for it anymore their just that good, but Angelina is not that way. She has the right attitude for this.
Lol you sounded like it's the biggest or most important movie she ever did. Please. She is an established actor and well deserved so, who have been in many huge movies, mainstream or not. For her to join MCU, it's mostly because of the director not just because it's MCU. I don't think she was nervous at all, she was just humble and down to earth that way.
I was there she sounded nervous in person its a huge crowd and MCU is the biggest franchise in the world right now so I'm sure she was just excited like we all were.

To the few people speaking about the ages of Angelina-44 and Salma -52 being old and no one wants to see that. The average age of men cast in the Avengers were Chris H 35 to Robert D J 54. Samuel LJ the oldest at 70. 14 men fall in the middle 38-52. So what the hell is the problem?

I've always been a huge fan of Angelina Jolie for her subtle yet superb acting spanning from Salt, Changeling to Maleficent, and her work with humanity and the UN. I've only just discovered the upcoming "Eternals" and have been watching the fan & casts promos. Have you noticed that Angelina is positioned on the side in just about every promo and interview? I find that so humbling and touching for a A-list megastar like her to be so comfortable allowing the rest of the cast to shine. I really enjoyed her latest movie "Those Who Wish Me Dead".
She commands presence wherever she is.

Tommy Lee Jones, Anthony Hopkines, Renee Russo, Christopher Eccleston, Samuel L Jackson, Robert Redford, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiferr, Gwyneth Paltrow, Natalie Portman, Tilda Swinton, etc etc. Even looking at the leads, Evans, Johansson and RDJ may not have been the huge stars they are today when first cast but they sure as hell weren't unknowns.
They brought in Angelina! I'm not even a big fan of hers in that I don't seek out her movies, but even I'll acknowledge just how fucking lit this is. She's extremely talented. What a good anchor for the film.
